James D. "Jim" Crawford, 64, of Natchez, formerly of Canton, died June 13, 2003, at Natchez Memorial Hospital.
Memorial services were held June 17 at Grace United Methodist Church in Natchez with burial in Chapel of the Cross Cemetery in Madison.
Survivors include: wife, Sandra Crawford of Natchez; sons, Blake Crawford of Slidell, La., Charles Crawford and David Crawford, both of Shreveport, La.; stepdaughter, Laurie Methvin of Jacksonville, Fla.; stepsons, Jimmy Campbell of Pensacola, Fla., and Steven Campbell of Virginia Beach, Va.; mother, Eloise Crawford of Madison; brother, Dudley Crawford of West End, N.C.; and sister, Katherine Newell of Canton.
He is also survived by a number of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

D.R. "Bob" Yandell, 81, of Canton died June 15, 2003, at Gulf Shores, Ala.
Funeral services were held June 18 at First Presbyterian Church in Canton with burial in Canton Cemetery. Breeland Funeral Home of Canton handled arrangements.
Survivors include: his wife of 57 years, Doris Jurgens Yandell of Canton; daughters, Kathryn Laurent and husband Vic, Phyllis Mashburn, Beverly Milam and Melinda Perry; and six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

George A. Heindl Jr., 82, of Canton died May 28, 2003, at his home.
Funeral services were held May 31 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Canton with burial in Canton City Cemetery. Canton Funeral Home handled arrangements.
Survivors include: his wife, Jewel Martin Heindl of Canton; children, Catherine May and husband Lamar of Birmingham, Ala., Fred Heindl and wife Dorian of Brandon, Pat Klar and Nancy Lewis, both of Ridgeland, and Gloria Bratton and husband Danny of Pass Christian; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He is also survived by sisters-in-law Mary Patterson, Leona Davis and Bessie Watkins, all of Jackson, Elsie Sanford of Warner Robbins, Ga., and Marlene Martin of Canton.

Joe C. Moore, 74, of Leesburg, Ga., died June 1, 2003, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Ga.
Funeral services were held June 5 at Wilcox Funeral Home Chapel in Carthage with burial in Pearl Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Carthage.
Survivors include: his wife, Faye Moore of Leesburg; son, Charles R. Moore and wife Sherry of Leesburg; daughters, Patsy Ivey and husband Rickey of Leesburg, and Scharla Bivings and husband Scott of Ridgeland; brother, Billy J. Moore of Kileen, North Carolina; great-grandson, Will Mott of Booneville; sisters, Willene Dunn and Anna Ruth Prater of Sparta, Tenn.; brothers, Ray Brock of Winchester, Tenn., Howard Brock of Georgetown, Del., Lynell Brock of Oxford, Pa., Willis Brock and Tony Brock of Sparta, Tenn.
