Survivors include: a lifelong friend, Peggy Jean Edgar of Canton; nephew and nieces, Larry McGraw and Ray Hardy Stribling of Canton, Charles McGraw of Brandon, Linda Quay Rumfelt of Green wood and Laura Fay Lavinghouze of Jackson. He is also survived by 11 great-nieces and great-nephews.

Services were held Dec. 31 at Breeland Funeral Home Chapel in Canton with burial in Flora Cemetery.
Survivors include: his wife of 45 years, Juanita Jackson of Jackson; sons, Ralph Jackson Jr. and Allen Jackson, both of New Madrid, Mo., Henry Jackson of Flora and Thomas Jackson of Jackson; daughters, Donna Grant of Flora and Edith Welch of Clinton; his father, Louis Jackson of Clinton; brothers, Leonard Jackson, Jerry Jackson and Neil Jackson; sisters, Stella Simmons, Jane Aycock and Judy Callihan; and 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Johnnie Fleming Sr. of Canton, 91, died Dec. 9 at Madison County Medical Center in Canton.
Services were held Dec. 14 at Mary Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Canton with burial in the church cemetery. Peoples Undertaking Co. of Canton handled arrangements.
Survivors include: his wife Ora Lee Fleming of Canton; children, Channey Lee and Rosie Fleming, both of St. Louis, Mo., Lee Edward Fleming of Savannah, Ga., George A. Fleming of Puyallup, Wash., Mattie Onell Davenport of Lenexa, Kan., Catherine Climons of Itta Bena, Martha Fleming of Irving, Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.
Services were held Dec. 20 at Breeland Funeral Home in Canton.
Survivors include: his wife, Hema S. Desai of Canton; two sons, Sagar Desai and Sanket Desai, both of Canton; parents, Sumantrai G. Desai and Kusumben S. Desai; and one brother, Sunil S. Desai.

Alfred Collins "Mac" McGregor Jr., 81, of Canton died Dec. 19 at Rankin Medical Center in Brandon.
Services were held Dec. 21 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial in the Canton Cemetery.
Survivors include: his wife, Anna Mae Heath McGregor of Brandon; two sons, A. J. McGregor of Madison and John McGregor of Brandon; one daughter, Mary Ann Goldsmith of Brandon; grandchildren, Matt McGregor, Mickey McGregor, Kathy Goldsmith, Karen Lloyd, Chuck Goldsmith, Esther Avery Slay and Hadley Slay.

Eulis Elizabeth Tate, 87, of Canton died Dec. 22 at St. Dominic Health Services Hospital.
Services were held Dec. 27 at Breeland Funeral Home with burial in Canton Cemetery.
Surviors include: grandchildren, Buddy Tate of Canton, Mary Catherine Windham of Meridian, Terri Hargorve of Green wood, Lynn Ohio.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. today at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church in Canton with burial in the church cemetery.
Survivors include: her son, A.V. Johnson of Canton; two daughters, Claudean Bankston of Lima, Washington and Annie Johnson, both of Canton.
Shirley D. Stuart
Morton
Shirley D. Stuart of Morton, 52, died Dec. 11, 2002, at University Medical Center in Jackson.
Mrs. Stuart was a native of Canton and a longtime resident of the Cooperville community in Morton.
Services were held Dec. 14 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton with burial in the Cooperville Cemetery.
Survivors include: her husband, the Rev. Leon Stuart of Morton; daughter, Lorie Stuart of Morton; two sons and daughters-in-law, Lee and Stacey Stuart, and Larry "Scooter" and Brandy Stuart, all of Morton; mother, Ruby Turner of Carthage; two sisters, Linda Roland of Carthage and Joann Jenkins of Sandhill; three grandchildren, Erica Stuart, Marilee Stuart and Kaitlyn Evans, all of Morton; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, J.P. Turner Jr.
