Gerald Joseph Kraft Sr., 65, of Benton, a grain manager for Madison County Co-Op, died Aug. 13, 2005, at his home.
A funeral mass was held Aug. 16 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Canton with burial in Shiloh Cemetery in Benton.
A native of Canton, he had lived in Benton since 1973. He was a communicant of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Survivors include: his wife, Cornelia Kraft of Benton; sons, Phillip Campbell of Benton, Allan Campbell of Benton, Ernie Kraft of Harrisville, Zack Kraft of Monroe, La., and Josey Kraft of Benton; daughter, Sandy Texas, Jane Murphy of Bartow, Fla., Sissy Leddy of Jackson and Lucy Nolan of Green ville, S.C.; and grandchildren, Melissa Kraft, Keith Campbell, Jessica Mississippi State College for Women. She was a graduate of the University of Texas, for several years, they returned to Canton, where Mr. Noble entered the drug store business.
She was active for many years in purebred cat competition and traveled all over the United States with her prize-winning cats. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, where she was a longtime member of the choir.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ott and son Way.
Survivors include: a daughter, RoseMary Bassett and husband Bill of Brandon; a son, John Charles Noble and wife Pamela of Madison; grandchildren, Shawn Gentry and wife Robin of Fort Worth, Wisconsin, Felicia McCoy BAtes and husband David, Madison McCoy and Mason McCoy, both of Canton; stepchildren, Mika Beals Fenelon and husband Windel and Rika Beals, all of Canton; brothers, Lemmie Charles Leggins and wife Lisa, Gene Leggins, J.W. Millsap and wife Pamela, all of Canton, Montreal Luckett and Mondra Luckett, both of Chicago; sisters, Delores Wilson, Mattie Hughes and husband Cleotha, Patricia McCoy, Carolyn McCoy and Mary McCoy, all of Canton.

Emma Rosie Lee Taylor Mabry, 74, of Pickens, died April 22, 2005, in Lexington.
Funeral services were held April 30 at Christian Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Pickens with burial in Anderson Cemetery in Yazoo County.
Mrs. Mabry was a member of Free Union Methodist Church. She was married to the late Peter Mabry.
Survivors include: her daughters, Maggie Williams of Pickens, Clara Gibson of Jackson and Linda Mabry of Goodman; sisters, Rebecca Waters of West Memphis, Tenn., Ruby Berry and husband John of Chicago, Ethel Clay and husband Howard of Chicago, Flossie Boyd and husband Mansell of Belzoni, Alma Taylor of Elgin, Ill., and Neatter Lawrence and husband Bobby of Durant; brothers, Richard Taylor and Wesley Taylor of Durant, and Henry Taylor Jr. and wife Mary of Belzoni; a special sister-in-law, Hattie Ford and husband the Rev. K.D. Ford of Pickens; 20 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Henry Earl "T" Scott, 56, of Sharon, died April 23, 2005, at his home.
Funeral services were held April 28 at Immaculate Conception Church in Camden with burial in Sulphur Springs Cemetery in Camden.
Scott received his education at Sacred Heart School in Camden and the Job Corps in Portland, Ore.
Survivors include: his wife, Cynthia Scott of Sharon; his parents, James and Fannie Griffin Sr. of Camden; his daughters, Octavia Landfair and Alisha Oliphant of Jackson; stepsons, Isadore Thomas and wife Chariece of Jackson, Everette Thomas and wife Felicia and Michael Thomas and wife Paulette of Sharon; six grandchildren; sisters, Helena Tubbs of Houston, Carter and husband Lee of Detroit, Mich., Nancy Scott Sr. and husband Roger Lee of Camden, Henrietta Johnson of Sharon, Angelia and husband the Rev. Henry Brown, Carolyn and husband the Rev. Kenneth Small of Canton; brothers, James Griffin Jr. and wife Dorothy, Paul Griffin and wife Brenda of Camden, and Frederick Griffin and wife Alicia of Jackson; mother-in-law, Catherine Conway of Sharon; father-in-law, Joseph Conway of Camden and a number of aunts and uncles.

Johnnie Lee McNalty, 47, of Canton died, April 24, 2005, at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.
Funeral services were held April 27 at Family Memorial Funeral Chapel with burial in Goodloe Cemetery in Canton.
McNalty was a member of Liberty Hill African Methodist Episcopal Church in Durant.
Survivors include: his mother, Mrs. Dessare Hughes of Canton; his son, Johnnie Lee McNalty and wife Stacy of Canton; grandchildren, Heaven McNalty and JaMichael McNalty, both of Canton; sisters, the Rev. Bonnie Travis and husband Jimmie Lee, Shirley Morgan, Jeannie Faye Howard and Ethel Morgan, all of Canton; and brothers, Leon Hughes of Jackson and Ivory Morgan of Canton.

Demetric "Bet" Potts Primer, 35, of Canton, died April 25, 2005, at the Ruleville Nursing Home in Ruleville.
Funeral services were held April 30 at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church with burial in Middleton Grove Cemetery.
Primer received her formal education in the Canton Public School System.
