Giles Sutton III, 57, of Canton, died March 29, 2005.
Funeral services were held April 2 at Family Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Canton with burial in Zion Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church Cemetery.
Mr. Sutton attended the Madison County schools. He was employed with W.S. Red Hancock in Bentonia. He was a member of Zion Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church.
Survivors include: his sisters, Onevia McClinton and husband Collies of Tylertown, Geneva Burns of Chicago, Ill., Daisy Luckett and husband Robert and Ora Williams of Canton; his brothers, Harry Sutton and wife Fran and Leroy Sutton and wife Emerilyn, all of Canton; and a friend, Patricia.
Robert L. 'Buddy' Pigg Jr.
Ridgeland
Robert L. "Buddy" Pigg Jr., 52, of Ridgeland, died March 30,2 005, at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson.
Funeral services were held April 2 at Natchez Trace Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery in Leake County.
Mr. Pigg was a native of Lena and was employed with State Farm Insurance. He was a member of Farmhaven Baptist Church and Sulphur Springs Hunting Club. He was active with the Compassionate Friends organization.
Survivors include: his son, Robert DeWayne Pigg and wife Jenni; his sisters, Virginia Gilbert of Lena, Lesterene Gilbert of Baton Rouge, La., Sylvia Holaday of Brandon, and Brenda Holifield of Carthage; and three grandchildren, Jesi, Reese and Ryann Ashley.

Charles D. Runnels
Ridgeland
Charles D. Runnels, 73, of Ridgeland, died March 30, 2005, at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson.
Funeral services were held April 1 at Ridgecrest Baptist Church with burial in Natchez Trace Memorial Park in Madison.
Mr. Runnels was a native of Mize where he graduated from high school. He joined the U.S. Navy and served in the Korean war where he received a medal of commendation. He was employed with Southern Farm Bureau and American Public Life Insurance before becoming a home builder and then retiring from Georgia Thomas and husband Isadore, and Ethel Harris, both of Canton; brother, Garfield Readus and wife Vanessa of Canton; sisters-in-law, Bobby Love and husband Harry, Annie Porter, Jessie Carr; brothers-in-law, the Rev. Freddie L. Carson and wife Ethel of Ridgeland, James C. Carson, Henry L. Carson and Emmett Carson Jr.; aunts, Willamette Readus of Canton, and Casadie Willingham of St. Louis, Mo.; special granddaughter, Treonna; godson, the Rev. James Daughtery; 23 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.
Danie C. Dendy

Danie C. Dendy, 93, of Pickens, died March 18, 2005, at Wesley Medical Center in Hattiesburg.
Funeral services were held March 22 at Shiloh Presbyterian Church in Pickens with burial in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Dendy was a homemaker and a member of Shiloh Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include: her daughter, Janet Weaver and husband George of Wiggins; her sisters, Edna Cauthen of Canton, Irma Musso of Thibodaux, La., Christine Smith of Birmingham, Ala., and Ruth Camp of Mineola, Calif., Dale Wright of Navarre, Fla., Cole Dendy of Durango, Colo., and Chris Zuhlke and Danielle Weaver, both of Upland, Calif; and one great-great-grandchild, Reagan Carrier of Gulfport.
Henry Lee Williamson
Camden
Henry Lee Williamson, 44, of Camden, died March 8, 2005.
Funeral services were held March 15 at Couparle United Methodist Church in Camden with burial in the church cemetery.
Mr. Williamson was educated in the Madison County School System. He was employed with a box company in Flora before it went out of business. He was also employed with Choctaw Maid Chicken Poultry in Carthage and was in the logging business for many years.
Survivors include: his mother, Margaret Williamson of Camden; his brothers, California; one aunt, Carrie Cooper and husband Mason of Canton; brother-in-law, John Rodgers of Detroit; and 16 nieces and nephews and 13 great-nieces and nephews.
Otha Lee Towner
Canton
Otha Lee Towner, 63, of Canton, died March 11, 2005.
Funeral services were held March 17 at Family Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Canton with burial in Zion Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Towner was a member of Pleasant Green Missionary Baptist Church in Moorhead. He attended Moorhead Elementary and Gentry High schools. In April 2001, he moved back to Canton.
Survivors include: his children and their mother, Dorothy J. Sherrod of Moorhead, Pamela Towner and Otha Towner Jr. and Doris Patterson; stepsons, Warren and Derwin Joshua; granddaughter, Lauren Brickley; brothers, George Towner and Murray Towner of Chicago, Ill., and Albert Towner of Los Angeles, N.Y., transferring to Sacred Heart Church in Camden. He also attended Velma Jackson High School.
Survivors include: his mother, Nadine Mason of Canton; his sister, Thelma J. Mason of Shreveport, La.; his daughter, Tamaron Mason of N.Y., Yovine Enoch of Carthage, Arlean Rayford of Camden, Edith Tuchesses of Terry, Juanita Robinson of Chicago, Ill., and Marguerite Fluellen of Detroit.
