Funeral services were held March 21 at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church with burial in Onisha Burks Memorial Cemetery in Canton.
Mr. Moore was a 1996 graduate of Canton High School. He was a member of St. Hill Church in Brandon.
Survivors include: his son, Dominic Malachi Moore; daughter, Arnesha Caldwell; special friend, Felisha Caldwell; his parents, Carolyn Clincy and husband Eddie, and Dennis Moore Sr. and wife Jill; grandmother, Barbara Jean Archie of Pelahatchie; brothers, Dennis Moore and Anrico Moore, both of Canton, Shadrach D. Moore and Caleb S. Moore of Pelahatchie; his sister, Tiffany Moore of Pelahatchie; aunts, Mable Ward of Morton, Arlesia Archie, Barbara Ann Archie, Dennis Archie of Flowood, Dorothy Hurst and husband Bobby of Pelahatchie; uncle, Clifton Archie Jr. of Pelahatchie; nephews, Denterius R. Jackson, Anthony Eagle, Dennis Eagle, Shacameron Travis, all of Canton; great-uncle, Carter and wife Julia of Butler, Ala.; and friend, Eric Caldwell.

Robert Otho Franklin, 72, of Camden, a retired Madison Furniture employee, died March 21, 2005, at Texas; sisters, Wilma Purvis of Clinton and Daisy Margolin of Pensacola, Fla.; grandchildren, Mike Brewer, Jacob Brewer, Chris Franklin, Jenni Franklin, Daniel Franklin, Wendy Harris, Justin Harris and Stephen Harris; and seven great-grandchildren.
Dudley 'Chicken' Powell

Dudley "Chicken" Powell, 72, of Canton, died Feb. 16, 2005, at St. Dominic/Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services were held Feb. 26 at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church with burial in the Mt. Pleasant Church Cemetery in Vaughan.
Mr. Powell, the oldest child of the late Wilson and Vertis Stalling Powell, was born in Pike County. He was a member of New Bethel M.B. Church.
Survivors include: his daughter, Demetris R. Powell of Canton; his sons, Kendrick L. Powell, Reginald Williams and wife Sandra of Morristown, Pa., Terrance L. Williams of Canton and Larry E. Hodges of Canton; grandchildren (he reared as his own), Leonardo Powell and LaBrandon McNair; eight other grandchildren; sisters, Helen Glasper of Baton Rouge, and Delores Curry of Jackson; aunts, Ruby Green of Plaquimine, La., Mary Powell of Magnolia; sisters-in-law, Evelyn Powell of Baton Rouge, Virginia E. Williams of San Antonio, Washington of Chicago, Ill.; six grandchildren; and dear friend, Annie Cross of Canton.

Henry Lee Handy Sr., 44, of Canton, died Feb. 20, 2005.
Funeral services were held Feb. 26 at St. Paul African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church with burial in Onisha Burks Memorial Cemetery in Canton.
Mr. Handy was a 1978 graduate of Canton Public High School.
Survivors include: his mother, the Rev. Clora T. Handy of Canton; his daughters, Kenetra Williams and Teshara Handy of Canton; sons, Henry Handy Jr. and Kendrick Handy of Canton; granddaughter, Ameriya Williams of Canton; sisters, Jessie Mae Handy, Patricia Handy Hurrod and husband Rickey and Dorothy Hayden of Canton; brothers, Howard Lawson Jr., Robert Lawson and wife Rose and Jessie Lee Handy Jr.; godsister, Valerie Rhodes and husband Derrick; step children, Latrina Williams, B.K. Williams, Marquasha, Keith and Tiffany Diamond; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

Patricia Diamond Handy, 34, of Canton, died Feb. 20, 2005.
Funeral services were held Feb. 26 at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church with burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Canton.
Mrs. Handy was baptized and united with Mt. Zion M.B. Church on Nov. 7, 2004. She was a member of the Canton High School class of 1988. She was employed with New South in Canton.
Survivors include: her daughters, Tamekia, Tiffany and Teshara; her sons, Keith, Henry Jr., Kendrick and Marquez, all of Canton; her mother, Dolly Diamond of Canton; brothers, Willie Diamond and Arthur Diamond of Canton; sister, Chiquita Hampton of Jackson; grandmother, Jewel Williams of Canton; a number of uncles, aunts and other relatives and friends.
Leon Calvin Parker

Leon Calvin Parker, 52, of Camden, died Feb. 20, 2005, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland.
Funeral services were held Feb. 26 at Greater Murphy Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church in Camden with burial in the church cemetery.
Mr. Mississippi, he was employed with Marshall Durbin and Parker of Pickens, Cynthia P. Seals of Camden and Barbara J. Primer of Chicago; brothers, Earl Dwight Parker and wife Jo of Pickens, and John Primer and wife Lisa of Chicago; nine grandchildren, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends.
