Bradley was diagnosed with cancer Feb. 19, 2007. He battled this disease for over a year and never gave up. Through constant downfalls, Bradley kept his winning spirit and his heroic courage through it all, and showed tremendous strength and resolve that is rarely seen. No matter what hardship presented itself, Bradley always met each challenge with a willingness and heart that could not be matched, only asking “What do I need to do?” He gave all of himself, being a pioneer with new research that will help many more to come. He always considered others first, his family, his friends, never being selfish about himself, but what he could do to make this easier on everyone else. These are the things that make a hero.

Memorials may be made to Marshall Academy in honor of Bradley Reece.

Having known Bradley, seeing his courage, and feeling his strength, we all can’t help but carry a part of him with us always. Just knowing him has made us all better people, and we can only hope to become half the person that this young man had already become.

B-rad, we love you and will miss you.
