Kenith Dean Dickson
Kenith Dean (KD) Dickson, 64, of Holly Springs, died Nov. 12, 2007 at his home. He was an Air Force Veteran, one of the original promoters of Clydesdale Christmas Store, a member of the VFW, a member of the Teamsters Union, and a former MS Highway Patrolman.
Services were held at 11 a.m. on Nov. 16 at Holly Springs Funeral Home Chapel.
He leaves a son, Jody Dickson of Corinth; a brother, Brooks Dickson of Olive Branch; two sisters, Sheryl German of Chattanooga, Tenn., Janie Brisco of Holly Springs; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Smith.
Memorials may be made to the Clydesdale Christmas Store, 843 Peyton Rd., Holly Springs, MS 38635.
Ann Hill
Ann Potts Hill, 79, of Becker, died Nov. 15, 2007 at Gilmore Regional Medical Center in Amory. She was a former resident of Potts Camp. She was an active member of Greenbrier United Methodist Church in Becker.
Services were held at 3:30 p.m. on Nov. 17 at E.E. Pickle Funeral Home Chapel in Amory. The Rev. Tom Sheffield officiated. Burial was in the Masonic Cemetery in Amory.
She leaves her husband of 59 years, Herman Hill; a son, Charles Hill of Jackson; two daughters, Belinda Russell of New Albany, Karen Williams of Andover, Kan.; a sister, Dale Potts Hollingsworth of Potts Camp; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Rev. Charles Potts, James R. Potts, Bennie Potts.
Pallbearers were Jason Pannell, Matt Baker, Thomas Williams, Jonathan Williams, Jimmy Ashley and Clinton (Bo) Hill.

Charles B.F. Howell
Charles B.F. Howell, 40, of Holly Springs, died Nov. 16, 2007 at Baptist Hospital in Collierville, Tenn. He was a construction worker.
Services will be held at 12 noon on Nov. 24 at Pleasant Hill CME Church in Mt. Pleasant, where he was a member. Visitation will be Fri., Nov. 23, 1-4 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel in Holly Springs. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Rev. Willie Huey will officiate.
He leaves six brothers, Calvin Howell of Holly Springs, Willie Howell, Edward Howell, both of Memphis, Tenn., Clyde Howell, Carl Howell and James Lee Howell, all of Mt. Pleasant.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Emmanuel and Cora Hurt Howell and brothers, Chester Howell, Emmanuel Howell Jr. and James Howell.
Rev. Claud Hunsucker Jr.
Rev. Claud Hunsucker Jr., 59, of Michigan City, died Nov. 12, 2007 at North MS Medical Center. He was a minister at Rice Chapel, a Mason, and a ham radio operator, KB5FLC.
Services were held at 2 p.m. on Nov. 15 at Holly Springs Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Rice Chapel Cemetery.
He leaves two daughters, Rebecca McDonald of Ripley, Dorothy Worthington of Fayetteville, Tenn.; his mother, Mary Hunsucker of Holly Springs; a sister, Carol Campbell of Holly Springs and five grandchildren.
John Henry Isom
John Henry Isom, 84, of Holly Springs, died Nov. 12, 2007 at Baptist Hospital in Oxford. He was a retired farmer.
Services were held at 3 p.m. on Nov. 17 at Sand Hill MB Church in Lamar, where he was a member. Burial was in the church cemetery. Rev. James Patterson officiated. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
He leaves two sisters, Lucy Lee Hubbard of Holly Springs and Eliza Ann Holt of Memphis, Tenn.
Pallbearers were Anthony Woods, Deldrick McClellan, George McClellen Jr., John McClellan, Nathaniel Martin Jr., Sevestin Martin. Honorary pallbearers were John Woods, Walter Woods, George McClellan, Nathaniel Martin, Tommy Tucker, Eddie Tucker and Eric Tucker.
Mary Christine King
Mary Christine King, 88, of Marion, Ark., formerly of Byhalia, died Nov. 14, 2007 at Crittenden Regional Hospital in West Memphis, Ark. She was the widow of Willard King. She was a member of Byhalia First Baptist Church.
Graveside services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Nov. 16 at Crittenden Memorial Park Cemetery. Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis was in charge of arrangements.
She leaves two daughters, Susan Frances Teed of Marion, Ark., Rosemary Summerford of Collierville, Tenn.; a son, Willard Dale King of Byhalia; a sister, Omega Scott of Mountain Home, Ark.; a brother, Harry Bivens of Memphis, Tenn.; 22 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Katy Beasly; and a son, Jackie King.
Alque Malone
Alque Malone, 77, of Memphis, Tenn., formerly of Waterford, died Nov. 8, 2007 at Overton Park Health and Rehab in Memphis. The widower of Lenora Malone, he was a retired factory worker for Memphis Furniture Co.
Services were held at 11 a.m. on Nov. 17 at Mt. Comfort CME Church in Waterford, where he was a member. Burial was in the church cemetery. Rev. Felix Tuggles officiated. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
He leaves an adopted daughter Joyce Cottrell Scott of Little Rock, Ark.; a sister, Lizzie Mae Ingram of Waterford; and two brothers, Roosevelt Finley of Fitchburg, Ma. and Robert Lee Finley of Canton.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Belinda James.
