Kathryn Steen Tullos, of Ridgeland, 77, a retired dietician, died Saturday, January 25, 2003, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. Services were at 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 28 at Nowell-Flippin Funeral Home in Ridgeland with burial in Natchez Trace Memorial Park.
Mrs. Tullos was born July 19, 1925 in Kosciusko. She retired as a dietician from the Florida.
He was born in Lexington to Conway and Adell Lucius Powell.
Raymond was a customer service representative for Northwest Airlines for over 40 years, spending much of his career at Okaloosa County Terminal.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine; stepsons, Craig Purvis and Brian Purvis; sister Elouise Lee of Brandon; brother, Glen Powell of Hattiesburg; and 2 grandsons.
A funeral service was conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 21, at Heritage Gardens Funeral Home with Rev. Gerald Reeves officiating. Interment followed in Heritage Gardens Cemetery.
Heritage Gardens Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.

Rommell (Bubba) Johnson of Lexington, 52, a laborer, died Sunday, January 19, 2003, at University Medical Center in Lexington. Services were at 1 p.m. Saturday at The Multi Complex Center with burial in Zion Cemetery. Century Hairston Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Claude Gaston, 84, of Lexington died Sunday, January 19, 2003 at the University Hospital, in Lexington. The body will be viewed at Century-Hairston Funeral Home in Lexington on Friday, January 24. Services will be Saturday, January 25, at 12:30 p.m at the House of Prayer Church of God in Christ in Water Valley, Michigan; Leon of Southhaven, Howard Glen and Claudia Bernice both of Booneville; Eva Mae of Lexington; Morris Curtis of Newport News, Virginia; twenty grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren.

Died: Thursday, January 16, 2003
Age: 67
Dorothy Mayfield Epps of Lexington, 67, died Thursday, January 16, 2003 at University Hospital in Lexington. Services were Friday, January 24 at Guiding Light Church of God in Christ with interment in Mayfield Cemetery. Rev. James Rogers officiated. Porter and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Epps was the daughter of Mingo and Clemmie Lomax Mayfield. She was a member of Beulah Grove Church of God in Christ. Her husband John Epps, and two sons, Leon and Larry Donell preceded her in death.
Survivors include: 6 daughters, Mildred McGee of White Lake, MI, Dorothy J. Epps of Gary, IN, Clemmie T. Epps of Atlanta, GA, Jessi Newman, Virginia Epps and Ethel Epps, all of Lexington; 4 sons, John Willie of Riverside, CA; Booker T. of Lexington, Eddie of Gary, IN, and Frederick Bernard of Vicksburg; 4 sisters, Lynette Sly of Detroit, MI, Bernice Brown, Christine Stokes, and Minnie Garnett, all of Lexington; 4 brothers, Mingo Mayfield Jr. of Lexington, Henry Mayfield of New Orleans, LA, Charles Mayfield of Bellglade, FL, and Melvin Mayfield of Detroit, MI; 24 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.
The pallbearers were family.
Harmon D. "Doc" Griffin
Died: Monday, October 07, 2002
Age: 89
Harmon D."Doc" Griffin 89, a retired truck driver, died Monday, October 7, 2002 at St. Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital. Services were Wednesday, October 9, at Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Parkway Cemetery in Kosciusko. Jordan Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Griffin was a long time resident of Durant before moving to Kosciusko. He was a member of the 2nd Baptist Church.
Survivors include: his wife, Lavelle Griffin of Kosciusko; one son, Harmon D. Griffin, Sr. of Conover, Georgia; and 4 grandchildren.

Caroline (Carolyn) West Virginia and spent her childhood and early adult years in Lexington. She attended the `W" and later became the telegrapher in Lexington. She was married in 1936 to Simon Peter `Pete" Rhyne in New York where their children were born. The Rhyne family moved to Norfolk, Virginia in 1949.
Survivors include: one son, Charles Rhyne of Brandon; one daughter, Nancey Harrell Rhyne Copley of Christchurch, England; 2 grandchildren and two great-grandsons.

TERNISSHA RENA ROSS
Ternissha Lejina Rena Ross, 23 of Lexington, died Sunday, September 22, 2002. Services were Saturday, September 27 at Popular Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Lexington with burial in Malone Cemetery with Porter & Sons Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Rev. Henry Pittman officiated.
Ternissha was born to Merchell Ross and J.T. Clay. She received her education at Lexington Elementary School and Jacob J. McClain High School, from which she graduated in May, 1998. She was a member of Popular Springs Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include: two sons, Mark' Xavious Terell "T" and Jarmarcus Deshun "Bubba" Smith Ross of Lexington; her mother, Merchell Ross of Lexington; six brothers, Anthony Ray Ross, Edward Adrian Ross, Orlando Lenell Ross and Timothy Yorell Ross all of Lexington, Michael Alondray Ross of Yazoo City, and Jatavious Clay of Waldorf, MD; grandmothers, Bobbie Johnson and Barbara Stephens of Lexington; godmother, Frances Sahling of Lexington; grandfathers, Alvin Jordan of Lexington and J.T. Clay, Sr. of Florida and Johnnie B. Frank of Pensacola Beach, Florida; 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were: John C. Frank, Edwin A. Frank, Wayne Jobe, Bryant Jenkins, Johnny Estep, and Jimmy Albin.
