Fannie Adcock Ellis

Age: 96
Fannie Adcock Ellis of West, 96, died on Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at Trinity Mission Nursing Home in Clinton. Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 1, 2006 at Southern Funeral Home chapel in Durant, with burial in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in West. Brother Harvey Ellis and Brother James Shumate officiated.
Mrs. Ellis was born on January 17, 1910 in Attala County to Harvey Adcock and Fenton Gowan Adcock. She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in West. She served as church pianist for a number of years.
Mrs. Ellis was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Ellis.
Survivors include two sons, Richard Bryant Ellis, Jr. and wife Mary of Kokomo, Kentucky passed away Thursday, March 23, 2006 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, South Carolina. He also attended Columbia State College in Columbia, Washington, 70, were held on Saturday, March 18, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Calvary M. B. Church in Tchula. Rev. Charles M. Washington departed this life on Monday, March 13, 2006 at Lexington Manor nursing home.
He was born on August 1, 1935 in Tchula to the late Cain and Catherine Washington was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, C. W. and H. W. Washington; two sons, Joseph Douglass (Niecey) of Washington of Tchula; 10 grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were: Earthalie Washington, Edwin Coffer, Melvin Caldwell, Walter Mayfield, and Kenny R. Williams. Honorary pallbearers were: Judas Jefferson, Jimmy Jefferson, Jamaal Jefferson, J. D. Burch, Charles Washington, Izah Washington, Jr.
Eleanor Perry Tidwell
Died: Friday, March 17, 2006
Age: 96
Eleanor Perry Tidwell, 96, died on Friday, March 17, 2006, at Longwood Community Living Center in Booneville. Funeral service was held on Sunday, March 19, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Booneville Funeral Home chapel in Booneville, with burial in Booneville Cemetery.
She was born on March 20, 1909 in Jones County, Stone for thirty years where he retired. He worked for a number of years for Bell and Howell. He was a parking attendant for five years.
On March 25, 1951 Joe married the late Sallie Travis Robinson. To this union, nine children were born. On November 11, 1993 Joe married Essie Booker, where he gained four stepchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Sallie Travis Robinson; a son, Frank; one sister, Lillie Hopkins; and three brothers, Frank, Willie and Doc, Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Essie Robinson; eight sons, Willie Lee, Anderson, Lavergne and Willie (Carrie), all of Chicago, IL, Joe, Jr. of Anoka, MN, Terrance of Merango, IL, George of Los Angeles, CA, and Michael (Yetta) of Bourbonnais, IL; two daughters, Mattie of Kankakee, IL, and Minnie (Joseph) of Hopkins Park, IL; three stepsons, Kenny, Anthony, and Terry of Chicago, IL; one stepdaughter, Constance (Tommy) of North Liberty, Alabama; and a brother, John Choice Culipher of Canton.
She is survived by her son, John Louis Cauthen, Jr. and his wife Diane Pentecost Cauthen of Camden; daughter, Betty Cauthen Billingslea and her husband Walter O. Billingslea of Pickens; two sisters, Irma Musso of Thibodeaux, Texas; six grandchildren and two great-granddaughters.

Willie Martin Renacker

WILLIE MARTIN RENACKER
Graveside services for Willie Martin Renacker were held Tuesday, April 18, 2006 at 11 a.m. in Mizpah Cemetery in Durant with Rev. Matt Brady officiating. Southern Funeral Home of Durant was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Renacker, 82, passed away on Friday, April 14 at State Veteran's Home in Jackson, Mississippi.
He was born in Holmes County on January 20, 1924, the son of G. Arnold Renacker and Annie Lou Odom Renacker. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. Mr. Renacker operated Renacker T.V. Service, repairing and selling T.V.'s. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Durant.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Edna Wilson Renacker of Jackson; a brother, George Renacker of Columbus, MS, and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were: Joe Crowder, Billy Binegar, Charles Putnam, Elton Wright, Dale McBride, and George Booker.
Mamie Love Able-Jenkins

MAMIE LOVE ABLES JENKINS
Mamie Love Ables Jenkins of Vaughn, 92, died on Tuesday, April 18, 2006 at Kings Daughters Hospital in Yazoo City.
Funeral services were held on Friday, April 21, 2006 at 2 p.m. at Southern Funeral Home chapel in Durant with Rev. Bobby Cain officiating. Burial was in Seneasha Cemetery in Goodman.
Mrs. Jenkins, the daughter of the late Williams Ables and Myrtle Criswell Ables, was born on February 19, 1914 in Attala County. She was a homemaker, and a Baptist.
Mrs. Jenkins was preceded in death by her husband, Hanson Jenkins, and three sons, Ben, Burl, and Terry Jenkins.
Survivors include: nine sons, Jerry Jenkins of Bentonia, Hanson Jenkins of Durant, Joe Willie, Paul, Hubert, Carl, and Mike Jenkins, all of Vaughan, and James and Billy Ray Jenkins, both of Yazoo City; three daughters, Lottie Mason of Pickens, Mary Malone of Vicksburg, and Maggie McDaniel of Benton; a brother, Melvin Gene Ables of Bentonia; a sister, Eula Jones of Goodman; 23 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren, 34 great-great grandchildren, and one great-great-great grandson.
Pallbearers were Ronnie Mason, Lessley Malone, Billy Ray Jenkins, Jr., Robert Peterson, Eddie Peterson, and Will Jenkins.
