Mrs. Andrews was a homemaker.
She was born July 7, 1939, in Walthall County. She was the daughter of Rosa Lee Dillon of Milwaukee and the late N.C. Dillon. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ulysess Andrews.
Survivors include her mother; one daughter, Jean Causey of New Orleans; two sons, Ulysess Charles Andrews and Derrick T. Andrews, both of New Orleans; one sister, Climmeteen Dillon of Tylertown; one brother, Rev. Clinton Dillon of Tylertown; 10 grandchildren, one great-grandchild.
Burial was in Andrews Family Cemetery in Tylertown with Ginn Funeral Home in charge.

Caroll Duncan Jr.
Jan. 24, 1952-Nov. 24, 2004
Funeral services for Caroll Allen Duncan Jr., 52, of Mount Hermon, La., were Nov. 26, 2004, at Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Ted Phillips officiating.
He died Nov. 24, 2004, at his residence.
Duncan was a carpenter.
He was born Jan. 24, 1952, in Tylertown, son of Mamie Lee Duncan of Tylertown and the late Caroll Allen Duncan Sr.
Survivors include his mother; his wife, Chandra Painter Duncan of Mount Hermon; four sons, Larry Duncan of New Hampshire; two daughters, Suwanna Newsome of Kentwood, La., and April Duncan of Franklinton, La.; one brother, Duaine Duncan of Tylertown; four sisters, Patsy Jenkins, Ara Glen Tullos and Delois Riley, all of Franklinton, and Sherry Phelps of Bogalusa, La.; and six grandchildren.
Pallbearers were John Crosby, Michael Duncan, Jimmy Jenkins Jr., Jewell Burch, Mickey Painter, Lane Duncan, Robert Hunt, B.J. Crain, Mitchell Polkey and Matt Polkey.
Burial was in Duncan Cemetery with Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home in charge.

Wardell Barnes Sr.
Jan. 13, 1944-Nov. 20, 2004
Funeral services Wardell Barnes Sr., 60, of Silver Creek, were Nov. 27, 2004, at Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Joseph Lewis officiating.
He died Nov. 20, 2004, at Southwest California; an uncle, Shirley and his wife Lela Barnes of Prentiss; seven grandchildren, Tyonious, Santana, Darrion, Undreco, Elester, Darecus and Sandreneka; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers are Carlous Stringer, Jimmie Barnes, Al Barnes, Fred Barnes, Terry Barnes and Adrell Stringer. Honorary pallbearers are Deacon Mitchell Barnes, Johnny Barnes, Jarred Daniel, Deacon Elijah Barnes and Torrey Barnes.
Burial was n the church cemetery with Bradford O’Keefe Funeral Home in charge.

Funeral services for Sidney Dolphus “Jack” Holmes Jr., 81, of Natchez, were Nov. 24, 2004, at Capps Funeral Home Chapel with David Dunaway officiating.
He died Nov. 23, 2004, at Natchez Community Hospital.
He was a member of Tylertown Baptist Church.
Holmes was born Aug. 3, 1923, at Tylertown, son of the late Sidney Dolphus Holmes Sr. and Sallie Pittman Holmes.
Survivors include a beloved sister, Jessie Holmes Carlisle; brother-in-law, Jim Carlisle; two nieces, Martha Carlisle Salters and husband, Bill, and Becky Carlisle Wilson and husband, Kevin; five great nieces and their spouses, Sidney Salters Magee and husband, Tony, Sarah Salters Loy and husband, Jeremy, Sunny Salters, Jessie Geoghegan and Mattie Geoghegan; and a cousin, Rena Temple.
Pallbearers were Bill Catchings, Tommy Catchings, Gary Golden and Casey McGehee.
Burial was in Tylertown Cemetery with Capps Funeral Home in charge.

Lucy Dillon
March 22, 1916-Nov. 22, 2004
Funeral services for Lucy Dillon, 88 were Nov. 24, 2004, from the chapel of Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home with Revs. Randall Garcia and Kenneth Rockco officiating. Mrs. Dillon, a resident of Tylertown, died Nov. 22, 2004, at Walthall County General Hospital from injuries received in an automobile accident.
She was a housewife.
Mrs. Dillon was born March 22, 1916, in Louisiana.
Pallbearers were Roderick Jackson, Ruben Robinson, Carl Carpenter, Charles Anderson, Ricky Jackson and Harvey Hollins.
Burial was in the church cemetery with Ginn Funeral Home in charge.

She was born May 16, 1931, at Tylertown, daughter of the late Cole and Effie Mae Thomas Breeland. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Cecil Breeland; four sisters, Lucille Thomas, Mamie Payne, Ruby Boss and Lois Hilburn; a son, Tommy Hilton; and a daughter, Nelda Rae Hilton.
Survivors include her husband, Perrin Hilton of Slidell; three sons and daughters-in-law, Donnie and Paula Hilton of Slidell, Kenny and Debra Hilton of Slidell and Keith and Trish Hilton of Breaux Bridge, La.; three granddaughters and grandsons-in-law, Nikki and Rob Hollier of Breau Bridge, La., Julia and Nick Green of Clarksville, Tenn., and Erica and Nick Madison of Mountain Home, Idaho; two great-granddaughters, Destiny Green of Clarksville, Tenn., and Alexis Madison of Mountain Home, Idaho; a daughter-in-law, Gwen Hilton of Slidell; a brother, Ted Breeland of Baton Rouge; three sisters, Exxie Mae Pace of Bogalusa, Juanita Ard of Tylertown and Jo Jones of Denham Springs, La.
Pallbearers were nephews.

John L. Holmes

Funeral services for John L. Holmes, 87, were Jan. 29, 2005, at Capps Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Knippers officiating.
He died Jan. 27, 2005, at Walthall General Hospital.
Holmes was an emergency medical technician, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a recipient of the Purple Heart. He was a member of Woodmen of the World, a Mason, Shriner and a member of the Eastern Star.
He ws born May 27, 1917, at Walthall County, son of the late Rufus Edgar and Lou Reeves Holmes. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Lawrence Holmes; three brothers, Webb D. Holmes, Charles E. Holmes and Louie W. Holmes; and two sisters, Delane Holmes and Alice Holmes Stogner.
Survivors include seven nieces, Carrie Lou Holmes of Bossier City, La., Frances Rushing, Mary Nell Brumfield and Elizabeth O’Bryant of Tylertown, Tina Swanson of Birmingham, Ala., Sherry Jenkins of Franklinton and Joanna thomas of Bogalusa; three nephews, Dr. Tom Holmes of Athens, Ga., Dr. Michael Holmes of Beaumont, Tex., and Robert Holmes of Richmond, Va.; a sister-in-law, Hilde Holmes of Columbus, Ga.; and a stepson, Johnnie Place of McComb.
Pallbearers were Derek Thomas, Trevor Thomas, Robert Hull, Travis Hull, Jonathan Meagher and Stanley Reeves.
Burial was in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens with Capps Funeral Home in charge.
