Rosalind Louise Gwin, 62, died Friday, May 5, 2006 at Martha Coker Convalescent Home in Yazoo City, MS. Graveside service was held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 9 at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Lexington.
Ms. Gwin was born on October 14, 1943 in Leflore County. She was the daughter of the late Samuel Donnell Gwin and Louise Mitchell Gwin. Ms. Gwin was a Presbyterian. She was a former resident of Goodman.
She is survived by a number of cousins.
Thomas Hollowell

Age: 63
Rev. Thomas Linder Hollowell, 63, died on Friday, May 5, 2006, at his residence in Caledonia, Parker Hollowell. He was a graduate of University High School of Oxford, MS, Mississippi. These locations included Associate Pastor of First United Methodist Church of Picayune, Pastor of Franklin UMC of Laurel, Pastor of First UMC of Lexington (June 1988 to June 1994), Pastor of Lewis Memorial UMC of Calhoun City, Pastor of First UMC of Green ville, and Pastor of First UMC of Brookhaven. In August 2004, Rev. Hollowell was selected with a group of 40 other ministers to attend a seminar at Oxford University, England for education and religion. He also was past President of the Green ville and Brookhaven Ministerial Associations; past President of the Brookhaven District Board of Ministry; and past member of the MS Conference (United Methodist Church) Board of Ministry.
He was preceded in death by a brother, James Howard Hollowell.
Survivors include: his wife, Linda B. Hollowell of Caledonia; two sons, Douglas Alan Hollowell (Casey) of Little Elm, TX; two daughters, Dawn Allison Thomas of West Point, and Lynn Allison Youngblood (Greg) of Caledonia; a sister, Shirley Hollowell Holmes of Oxford; and seven grandchildren.
Pallbearers were: Bobby Steele, David Knight, David Stotts, Keith Kavitz, Ed Kissinger, Bobby Baird, Phillip Heidelberg, and Lavelle Sullivan.
Honorary pallbearers were: Dr. Jim Barnett, Dr. Pat Scanlon, Dr. David Strong, and Dr. Bobby Graham.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1380 Livingston Lane, Jackson, MS 39213; Wesley United Methodist Church, 511 Airline Road, Columbus, MS 39702; or to the donor's favorite charity.
REGENA WHITE WADE
Regena "Jeannie" White Wade, 58, a partner of Wade Farms of Tchula, died Saturday, May 6, 2006, at St. Dominic/Jackson Memorial Hospital. Services were at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church of Lexington with burial in Pine Crest Cemetery in Tchula.
Mrs. Wade was a graduate of Louisville High School and Tennessee; brother, Jack O. White, Jr. of Ponte Vedra, Carter of Louisville.
Rev. Freddie Matthews officiated the services. Pallbearers were Allen Watkins, Oliver Harris, Ellis Harris, Jr., Ray Hodges, Jimmy Patridge, Harry Lott, Jr., Landon Shephard, and Karlis Gercens. Honorary pallbearers were the men of Cruger Baptist Church.

Harold Eugene Booth, Sr.

Age: 82
Harold Eugene booth, Sr., 82 of Clarksdale, died Wednesday, June 28, 2006, at Methodist Central Hospital in Memphis, TN. Services were held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 1, 2006 at St. Paul's Methodist Church in Clarksdale. Rev. Ed Woodall and Rev. Lee Zuehlke officiated with burial in Oakridge Cemetery.
Mr. Booth was born September 5, 1923, in Lexington, Mississippi State College.
He served in the armed services in World War II as a radar specialist in Newfoundland.
He began his career in 1949 in Rolling Fork, Ohio, and Clara Joyer of Senatobia; 24 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren
Harvery Land Campbell
Died: Tuesday, June 27, 2006
Age: 89
Mr. Harvey Land Campbell, 89, of Douglasville, GA, formerly of West for 88 years, passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2006, at WellStar Community Hospice/Tranquility in Austell, GA. He was born on May 30, 1917, in West, to the late Dudley Berlin Campbell and the late Vashti Elizabeth Brister Campbell. Mr. Campbell was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Kathryn Field Campbell. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he worked in the Fleet Post Office in San Francisco, Mississippi Hospice. Jordan Funeral Home of Kosciusko was in charge of the arrangements.

WEBSTER EUGENE RHYNES, SR.
Webster Eugene Rhynes, Sr., a/k/a Web, 32, of Tchula departed this life on Friday, June 23, 2006 as the result of a truck accident in Meridian, MS.
Funeral service will be Saturday, July 1, 2006 at Rosehill Missionary Baptist in Tchula at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be at Mount Olive Cemetery in Lexington. Repast will be held at the 911 building in Tchula.
Mr. Rhynes was born on December 5, 1973 in Holmes County. He was a truck driver for Malouf Construction Company.
His loving memory will be cherished by his parents, Webster and Alberta Davenport of Tchula; four children, Webster Eugene Rhynes, Jr. of Sidon, Chandriana Monique Rhynes of Tchula, QaNetria Qa'Shay Rhynes of Tchula, stepdaughter, Charlie Thomas of Tchula; seven brothers, Anthony Rhynes, Tony Rhynes, McKinley Young, III, Slyvester James, Wesley Earl James, Tony James, and Lenell Gallion; and five sisters, Sandra Rhynes, Clemetine Hillie, Francis Brown, Trina Common, and Catrina Venebles.
VIVIAN LOREE KILLEBREW
Died: Sunday, June 18, 2006
Age: 79
Vivian Loree Killebrew, 79, of Biloxi, MS went to her heavenly home on Sunday, June 18, 2006.
Mrs. Killebrew was born August 8, 1926 to Thomas L. and Ruby Earl Simpson in Goodman, MS. After traveling around the world as the wife of an Air Force Chief Master Sergeant, she settled in Biloxi where she served as a school secretary at Beauvoir Elementary while she pursued her Bachelors and Masters degree in elementary education. She taught at Beauvoir for seventeen years before her retirement in 1990. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Biloxi.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Fred Simpson, and three sisters, Lucille Burrell, Lavell Blackstock and Mildred McCrory.
Mrs. Killebrew is survived by her husband of 60 years, William O. Killebrew of Biloxi; three sons, Nolan Craig Killebrew and wife, Soo of El Paso, California. Funeral services were held on Monday, June 12 at 10 a.m. at New Hope C.O.G.I.C. in Fresno with Supt. Jeff Wheeler presiding. Interment was in Belmont Memorial Park in Fresno.
Mother Genous was born October 10, 1922, the first of sixteen children born to the union of James and Lenora Wheeler. She attended public school in Missouri. In 1941, she moved to Chicago, California in July 2005 and joined New Hope C.O.G.I.C. where her brother, Supt. Jeff Wheeler, is pastor.
She was preceded in death by her parents and eight siblings.
She is survived by her children, Carol Scott of Fresno, CA, Catherine and Pastor Leonard Jackson of Oakland, CA, Wade and Henrine Cooper of Chicago, IL, Orlease and Elder Theoldies Flourney of Stockton, CA, Danda and Henry Gren of South Holland, IL, Florence and Joe Spann of Chicago, IL, Essley Cooper of Calumet City, IL, Carletta and Eddie Tillis of Friendswood, TX, Grant and JoAnn Genous of Lexington, MS, Henretta Walls of Yazoo City, MS, Samuel and Natalie Genous of San Diego, CA, Mark and Louise Willingham of Yazoo City, MS, Dorothy Price of Chicago, IL, N. T. and Jeanette Genous of Memphis, TN, Percy Genous of Benton, MS, Lenwood Genous of Benton, MS and John and Margie Genous of Jackson, MS; grandson she raised as her own, Craig Cooper, and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
