Breland was a dairy farmer and had worked for the Calif.; 36 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Johnnie Marks, Grey Hynes, Nicholas Brown, Deon Chisholm, Jason Youngblood and Nikki Lee.
Burial was in Hayes United Church Cemetery in Hackley with Ginn Funeral Home in charge.

She died Jan. 22, 2005, at Wesley Medical Center, Hattiesburg.
Miss Badon was a certified nurse assistant.
She was born Feb. 15, 1960, in Walthall County, daughter the late of C.V. and Nerlean Badon.
Survivors include three brothers, Rev. Clinton Dillon and Jimmy Earl Badon, both of Tylertown, and Nathanial Causey of New Orleans; three sisters, Doris Badon Williams of Jackson, and Dinah Faye Newell and Climmatean Dillon, both of Tylertown.
Burial was in Magee Cemetery in Tylertown with Ginn Funeral Home in charge.

She was a housewife.
Mrs. Brister was born Feb. 26, 1955, at Memphis, Tenn., daughter of the late Herman H. and Sarah Nell Smith Mehan. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, Danny Brister.
Survivors include her husband, Henry W. Keller; a son, Daniel Brister Jr.; three daughters, Candy Bennett, Rhiannon Kelley and Debbie Danielle Brister; a brother, Buck McCullough; two sisters, Onetta Fulgham and Carolyn McCullough; and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Henry Keller, Daniel Brister Jr., Brian DuBose, Steven Jackson, Rickey Brister and Wayne Lang.
Burial was in Rushing Cemetery with Capps Funeral Home in charge.

She died Jan. 23, at her daughter’s home in Pine.
Mrs. Freeman was a member of Centerville Baptist Church.
She was born July 1, 1910, at Walthall County, daughter of the late Jeff and Rosa Vince Freeman. She was also preceded by her husband of 58 years, Jim C. Freeman; a son-in-law, K.C. McKenzie of Pine; four brothers, Harvey, Jessie, George and James Freeman; and three sisters, Candasie Davis, Gladys Ellis and Hettie Brumfield.
She is survived by her daughter, Jimmie Lou McKenzie of Pine; two grandchildren and their spouses, Ronald and Joyce McKenzie of Pine and Vicki and Rick Wood of Madisonville, La.; great-grandchildren, Michelle and Robbie Stuart of Pine, Casey and Hardy McMillan of Kentwood, Haylee Thomas of Madisonville, Joanna and Heath Thomas of Monroe, La., and Emily Wood of Mandeville; two great-great-grandchildren, Trevor and Allison Stuart of Pine.
Pallbearers were R.J. Ellis, Edgar Ellis, Shermit Ellis, Wilbur Freeman, Troy Freeman and Don Thomas.
Burial was in the church cemetery with Capps Funeral Home in charge.

Donna M. Edwards

Funeral services for Donna Marie Dunaway Edwards, 49, of the Mars Hill community in Amite County, were June 15, 2005, at Mars Hill Baptist Church with Revs. Brett Campbell, Vann Windom and Gene Douglas officiating. She died June 13, 2005, at Southwest Regional Medical Center in McComb. Mrs. Edwards was a member of Mars Hill Baptist Church. She was a dedicated nurse for 28 years having earned her nursing degree from the University of Southern Mississippi Family Practice Assn., a lifetime member of the Mississippi Medical School. He contributed to Tylertown in may ways beyond his medical practice. he was one of the founders of the Walthall County Chamber of Commerce and served as its first president. he was a member of Tylertown Rotary Club for over 50 years and also served as president. A lifelong member of Tylertown Baptist Church, he was a deacon and active choir member. he was a recipient of the Silver BEaver Award from the Andrew Jackson Council, Boy Scouts of America; the Paul Pittman Award from the Walthall County Chamber of Commerce, the Olen Anderson Award from the Walthall County Junior Chamber of Commerce; and was a Paul Harris Fellow with Tylertown Rotary Club. He served with the Mississippi before obtaining his MD degree from the Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Penn. He interned at Charity Hospital in New Orleans. During World War II, Dr. Crawford served as a flight surgeon with a group of Flying Fortresses and England and Europe. He was born Feb. 25, 1916, in Tylertown, son of the late Dr. and Mrs. B.L. Crawford. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Crawford Lott; a brother, Dr. Everett Crawford, and his first wife, Patricia Willis Crawford. Survivors include his wife, Katherine Yarborough Crawford; a brother, Dr. Ben Crawford; a son, Walter Jeffrey Crawford and wife, Mary Cris Crawford; a daughter, Julie Crawford Phillips and husband, Dr. Ed Phillips; five grandchildren; two stepchildren, Linda Yarborough Giard and William W. Yarborough; and three step-grandchildren. Burial was in Tylertown Cemetery with Capps Funeral Home in charge.

She died June 19, 1905, at Walthall County General Hospital. Mrs. Brister had been a team leader with Multi-Craft. She was a member of the Church of God in Christ. She was born Sept. 25, 1954, in Tylertown, daughter of Love Magee of Tylertown and the late Clay Lee Spurlock Magee. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by one brother, Le’Dale Magee. Survivors include her father; four sons and two daughters-in-law, Earnest Brister Jr. and Shantina, Kentrick Brister, and Terrance Brister, all of Tylertown, and Ronnie Brister and Lisa of Hattiesburg; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Penny Carson and Leo, and Glenda Jackson, all of Tylertown, and Mary Carson and Pienk of Brookhaven; four brothers and three sisters-in-law, Sonny Magee, Curtis Magee and Verlean, and Ronnie Magee and Mary, all of Tylertown, and Earnest Magee and Janice of Baton Rouge, La.; four granddaughters, Marinda and Dalpheal Brister, both of Tylertown, Breanna Brister of McComb and Veronica Brister of Hattiesburg; three goddaughters, Lee Amy Spurlock and Kelee Jackson, both of New Orleans, and Shemecca Carson of Franklinton, La.; and two godsons, Kelvin Jackson Jr. of New Orleans and Simon Carson Jr. of Tylertown. She died June 19, 2005, at Southwest Regional Medical Center, McComb. Mrs. Brumfield was retired from BellSouth. She was born March 21, 1921, in Tylertown, daughter of the late Cleveland and Ella Stewart Harvey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Stanley Brumfield; one daughter, Jayne Manderson; and one granddaughter, Tracy Pittman. Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, Dr. Stanley and Martha Brumfield, and Lewis Brumfield, all of McComb; one daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Jerry Pittman of Fairfield, Tex.; one brother and sister-in-law, Breen and Hattie Harvey of McComb; three granddaughters, Aimee Lambert, Alyson MacGregor and Marla Pittman; and five great-grandchildren, Maxine Pittman, Emory Lambert, Jolie Lambert, Leah MacGregor and Ella MacGregor. Richard Green officiating.’ She died June 21, 2005, at Billdora Nursing Home in Tylertown. Mrs. Coon was retired from Kellwood Company. She was a member of Enon Baptist Church. She was born June 19, 1918, in Walthall County, daughter of the late Pinkie Buel Brister and Rosa Alexander Brister. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her first husband, Elda Purvis Dunaway; her second husband, Stanley Coon; one daughter, Dorothy May Lang; one grandson, Michael A. May; three brothers, Fred Brister, Marcus Brister and Jimmy Jewell Brister; and two stepsons, Everett Coon and Vilace Coon. Survivors include one daughter, Eldena D. May of Jayess; two stepdaughters and their spouses, Evelyn and James Alexander of Summit, and Joan and Dell Beal of Jayess; one stepdaughter-in-law, Betty Coon of Jayess; one sister and brother-in-law, Perline and Russell Cline of Jayess; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles Ray and Sara Brister of Jayess, and Rufus and Marie Brister of Port Arthur, Washington Funeral Home in Tylertown. She was a homemaker and a member of Rocky Hill Baptist Church where she was treasurer. She was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star. Mrs. Lewis was preceded in death by her first husband, Willie J. Dexter; her parents; three sisters and four brothers. Survivors include her husband, Watkins Lewis of Tylertown; one daughter, Rachiel Brumfield of Tylertown; one son, Willie Ray Dexter of Tylertown; one sister, Hettie Magee of Tylertown; two brothers, Ollie Conerly of El Paso, Ohio; eight grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Norris was an industrial plant worker at Tylertown Wear Parts and a member of Temple Hill Church of Christ. She was born Sept. 26, 1942, daughter of the late Owen Cicero and Ethel McGehee Nettles. She was also preceded in death by two husbands and a granddaughter. She is survived by a stepson and his wife, Clay and Heather Norris of Yorktown, Va.; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Teresa Boyd of McComb, Tina and Bobby Russ of Vidalia, La., Regina and Mickey Nation of Tylertown and Zina McKenzie of McComb; four sisters, Katherine Jordan and Bobbie Wilkinson of Smithdale, Martha Young of Summit and Maxine Carraway of Vidalia, La.; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Thomas Breland of Columbia; parents; a daughter, Kayla Breland of Columbia; two sons, Joe Breland of Columbia and Tye Breland and his wife, Andrea, of Columbia; three sisters, Anna Serrette and Susan Wallace of Columbia and Allison Christie of Horn Lake; a grandchild, Gage Breland; and grandmothers, Naomi Breland and Sue Belle White.
