Mary Jane Bone

BILOXI - Mary Jane Bone, 84, died Sunday, Dec. 3, 2000, in Biloxi.

Mrs. Bone was a longtime resident of the Coast.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Eva McKelvy; a brother, George W. McKelvy; and a sister, Sue Underwood.

Survivors include her husband, L.L. "Doc" Bone of Biloxi; a son, Lyman L. Bone Jr. of Houston

; and a sister, Rosalee Bobbitt of Willets, Texas, and was a heavy equipment operator for Jackson County. He was a member of Forts Lake Assembly of God Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Emma Demouey Isham; and his parents, William B. and Ethel Hill Isham.

Survivors include three sons, Clifton Olan Isham and Sidney Isham, both of Forts Lake, and Richard Earl Isham of Grand Bay, Ala.; a sister, Eula Faye Demouey of Franklin Creek; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 tonight at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point. A service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Forts Lake Assembly of God Church where friends may call after 9 a.m. Burial will be in W.R. Clark Memorial Cemetery in Forts Lake.

Elizabeth Johnson

Funeral: Memorial service at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Handsboro Presbyterian Church.

GULFPORT - Mrs. Elizabeth Wendel Barry Johnson, age 100, and a resident of Gulfport, MS, died Monday, December 4, 2000, in Gulfport.

Mrs. Johnson was a native of New Orleans, LA, and a resident of Gulfport for the past 38 years. She received degrees from Smith College in Mississippi in Hattiesburg. Mrs. Johnson was a teacher and an accomplished pianist, and was a member of United Daughters of the Confederacy at Beauvoir in Biloxi, MS, and was a member of Handsboro Presbyterian Church in Gulfport.

Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by a daughter, Kate J. Ellison; and a son, E. Barry Johnson.

Survivors include a granddaughter, Eleanor Gourley of Birmingham, AL; and two great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Gourley of Beaufort, SC, and Paul Gourley III of Birmingham.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6, at Handsboro Presbyterian Church, where friends may call after 1 p.m.

The family prefers memorials to Texas, and Gloria Kaye of Austin, Texas; two sisters, Iva Mae Workman of Mississippi Wildlife Heritage Fund, P.O. Box 451, Jackson, MS 39205.

Teary Rayborn

GULFPORT - Teary Rayborn, age unavailable, died Sunday, Dec. 3, 2000, in Gulfport.

Arrangements are incomplete at Lockett-Williams' Mortuary in Gulfport.

L.E. Roberson

Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi.

BILOXI - L.E. "Robbie" Roberson, Retired Senior Master Sgt., 68, of Biloxi, died Monday, Dec. 4, 2000, in Biloxi.

Mr. Roberson was a native of McRae, Calif., and Shawn Roberson of Biloxi; a sister, Vivian Strom of Phoenix City, Ala.; and a grandchild, Zachary Blackston of Biloxi.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2000, at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi. A service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, 2000, at the funeral home chapel with burial in Biloxi National Cemetery with full USAF military honors.

John Rutledge

BILOXI - John Rutledge, 51, died Monday, Dec. 4, 2000, in Biloxi.

Arrangements are incomplete at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes.

Virginia Lee Taylor

Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Vancleave Holiness Church.

VANCLEAVE - Virginia Lee Taylor, 54, died Saturday, Dec. 2, 2000.

Mrs. Taylor was a native of Frostproof, Fla., and had been a resident of the Coast for 15 years. She was a homemaker and a member of Vancleave Holiness Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Taylor; her mother, Helen Shirley; a brother, Eugene Kinney; and a grandson, Jared Taylor.

Survivors include two daughters, Sabrina Thomas of Pass Christian and Serilda Bang of Vancleave; two sons, Lee Taylor of Vancleave and Larry Leeds of San Diego; two brothers, Daniel Kinney of Tulsa, Okla., and Garry Kinney of Brookings, Ore.; two sisters, Lavon Harris of Denver and Theresa Grant of Pass Christian; and two grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 tonight at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes. A service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Vancleave Holiness Church where friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Gary Travis

PASS CHRISTIAN - Mr. Gary Travis, 62, died Sunday, Dec. 3, 2000, in Pass Christian.

Arrangements are incomplete at Riemann Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis.

Joseph H. Bellman Sr.

BILOXI - Joseph H. Bellman Sr., 69, died Friday, Dec. 8, 2000, in Ocean Springs.
