BAY ST. LOUIS - Taunjinikia Tre'Vaille Brown, 4, died Thursday, February 11, 1999, in New Orleans.
Taunjinikia was born March 1, 1994, in Bay St. Louis. She attended Central Christian Day Care, attended Bay/Waveland Headstart and was a member of Velena C. Jones United Methodist Church in Bay St. Louis.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Robert Whavers Sr.
Survivors include her mother, Rosalyn J. Whavers of Bay St. Louis; her father, Lenard Brown of Pass Christian; her grandmother, Laverne Whavers of Bay St. Louis; and her grandfather, Lenard Jordan of Covington, La.
A service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Velena C. Jones United Methodist Church, where friends may call an hour before service time. Burial will be in Hancock Monument Gardens of Memory.
Lockett-Williams' Mortuary in Gulfport is in charge of arrangements.

WAVELAND - Harold E. Masson Sr., 83, of Waveland, Miss., died Friday, February 12, 1999, in Gulfport, Miss.
Mr. Masson was a native of New Orleans, La., and had been a resident of Waveland, Miss., for the past 22 years. He was of the Catholic faith and was a member of St. Clare's Catholic Church in Waveland, Miss. After 47 years of employment and before his retirement in 1977, he was a Pharmaceutical Representative with Parke-Davis and Company. He was a member of the Hancock County Chamber of Commerce and the Bay St. Louis Rotary Club, where he was a Paul Harris Fellow. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, serving as a Fourth Degree Knight, in Bay St. Louis, Miss. Mr. Masson was a former principal of the High School of Religion, St. Agnes Parish in Jefferson, La., and was also past president of the Holy Name Society. He was a past president of (PRANO), New Orleans, La.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gabriel Emile and Irene Johnson Masson Sr.
He was the dearly beloved husband of Alice Stuart Masson of Waveland, Miss.; devoted father of Stuart A. and Nancy Masson of Kenner, La., Harold E. and Patricia Masson Jr. of Daytona Beach, Fla., Dalton A. Masson of Metairie, La., Jerome A. and Kelly Masson of Jefferson, La., Gabriel E. Masson III and Maxwell Thomas of Rowayton, Conn., Joann M. and Gary Thomas of Waynesboro, Va., and Robin M. and John Jacobs of Atlanta, Ga.; brother of Gabriel E. Masson Jr. of River Ridge, La., Sister Mary Emmanuel of Waterville, Nebraska 68010.
George T. McGarry Sr.
Funeral: Memorial at 8 p.m. Monday at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi.
BILOXI - George T. McGarry Sr., 87, died Tuesday, Feb. 9, 1999, in Biloxi.
Mr. McGarry was a native of Mott, N.D., and had been a resident of Biloxi for the past six years. He served in the Army and was a World War II veteran. He was a member of "Star in the West" Masonic Lodge, No. 60, in Sauk Centre, Minn.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Eva Marie Anderson McGarry; his second wife, Katharyn E. Dillsaver McGarry; a son, James Arthur McGarry; a daughter, Jacqueline Marie Larson McGarry; two grandchildren, Mona Eve Larson and John William Thelan; and a sister, Pearl McGarry.
Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Ann Thelen of Benson, Minn.; a son, George T. McGarry Jr. of D'Iberville; a sister, Marvel Irene Sostak of Chicago; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi, with a memorial service at 8 p.m.

INVERNESS, Fla. - Hazel Proctor, 71, died Saturday, Feb. 13, 1999, in Biloxi.
Mrs. Proctor was sent from Riemann Funeral Home, 25th Avenue in Gulfport, to Hooper Funeral Home in Inverness for services and burial.

OCEAN SPRINGS - Caleb Joseph Russell, twin son of Eric and Charlene Hebert Russell of Ocean Springs, Miss., was born Friday, February 12, 1999, and died Friday, February 12, 1999, in Biloxi, Miss.
He was preceded in death by maternal great-grandfathers, Vallex J. Hebert Sr. and John V. Trochessett Sr., both of Biloxi.
Survivors include his parents, Eric and Charlene Hebert Russell; maternal grandparents, Carroll J. and Millie Trochesset Hebert; paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Janice Sherrick, all of Ocean Springs; maternal great-grandmothers, Leila Hebert and Sue Trochesset, both of Biloxi; and paternal great-grandparents, Elmus and Irene Wright of Tullahoma, Tenn.

OCEAN SPRINGS - Ethan Matthew Russell, twin son of Eric and Charlene Hebert Russell of Ocean Springs, Miss., was born Friday, February 12, 1999, and died Friday, February 12, 1999, in Biloxi, Miss.
He was preceded in death by maternal great-grandfathers, Vallex J. Hebert Sr. and John V. Trochessett Sr., both of Biloxi.

BILOXI - Infant Malik De'Shun Scott died Thursday, Feb. 11, 1999, in Biloxi.
Survivors include his father, Nicholas Scott of Maryesther, Fla.; and his mother, Lekeisha Williams of Biloxi.

William Bernard Carlin Sr.
Funeral: Memorial at 11 a.m. Saturday at Pineville Presbyterian Church.
LONG BEACH - Mr. William Bernard Carlin Sr., 78, died Friday, Nov. 27, 1998, in Bay St. Louis.
Mr. Carlin was a native of Bond, Miss. He graduated from Perkinston Junior College and attended the University of Mississippi Test Facility, where he was employed by General Electric. He retired in 1985 from Litton Data Systems Division at Pascagoula as a mechanical designer. Mr. Carlin was a lifetime member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary. He also was a member of the Pass Christian Yacht Club, the Pass Christian Historical Society and the Friends of the Pass Christian Library. Mr. Carlin was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during World War II. He was a member and former elder in the Pineville Presbyterian Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elton J. and Annie Evans Carlin; and a sister, Jarrelline Carlin Hanes.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Bankston Carlin of Long Beach; a daughter, Kathleen C. Kilbourne of New Orleans; a son, Rev. William B. Carlin II of Vicksburg; and two granddaughters.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, at the Pineville Presbyterian Church, with private graveside services in Biloxi National Cemetery. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Gulfport is in charge of arrangements.
The family prefers memorials to the Friends of the Library, 111 Hiern Avenue, Pass Christian MS 39571 or to the charity of one's choice.
Ruby Gladys Courtney

CARRIERE - Mrs. Ruby Gladys Burns Courtney, 75, died Saturday, Nov. 28, 1998, in Slidell.
Mrs. Courtney was a native of Winnsboro, La. She was a homemaker and was a member of West Union Baptist Church in Carriere.
Survivors include two sons, Calvin Laird of Carriere and Bill Laird of Baton Rouge; a sister, Thelma Polk of Abilene, Texas; a brother, Robert Buras of Slidell; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 tonight at McDonald Funeral Home in Picayune. A service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at West Union Baptist Church, where friends may call an hour before service time. Burial will be in West Union Cemetery in Carriere.

SAUCIER - Infant Randall Michael DuBose, four months, died Thursday, Nov. 26, 1998, in Gulfport.
Randall was born in Gulfport and was a member of McHenry First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his parents, Susan and Michael DuBose of Saucier; a sister, Caitlin DuBose of Saucier; and his grandparents, Shirley and Paul Lord of Saucier, and Joey and Elaine Willard of McHenry.
A service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Riemann Memorial Funeral Home, U.S. 49 North in Gulfport, where friends may call an hour before service time. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Gulfport.
