Mary Benigno Vassalli
Funeral: Mass at 11 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church in Bay St. Louis.
KENNER, La. - Mary Benigno Vassalli, 92, died Thursday, Nov. 26, 1998, in Metairie, La.
Mrs. Vassalli was a native of Bay St. Louis. She was of the Catholic faith and had 30 years of sales and service for D.H. Holmes.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Vassalli; her parents, Samuel and Frances Noto Benigno; George J. Benigno, Anthony J. Benigno and Samuel J. Benigno; and a sister, Rita B. Lane.
Survivors include a daughter, Betty Vassalli Burns of Abita Springs, La.; two brothers, Charlie S. Benigno of Bay St. Louis and Joseph Benigno of Pass Christian; two sisters, Gloria B. Landry of Diamondhead and Anna B. O'Donnell of Chicago; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 tonight at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis, with a recitation of the Rosary at 8 p.m. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church in Bay St. Louis, with burial in Gulf Coast Memorial Cemetery and Mausoleum in Bay St. Louis.
The family prefers memorials to one's favorite charity.
Lulean Harrison Webb
Funeral: 11 a.m. Monday at Holder-Wells Funeral Home Chapel in Moss Point.
GAUTIER - Lulean Harrison Webb, 83, died Thursday, Nov. 26, 1998, in Gautier.
Mrs. Webb was born June 15, 1915, in Philadelphia, Miss. She was retired from the reproduction department at Ingalls Shipbuilding and was a former employee of B.V.D. Knitting Mills. She was a member of Parkway Baptist Church in Pascagoula.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Winnie Harrison; three sisters, Annie Ruth Wilkerson, Ruth and Pauline Harrison; and a granddaughter, Connie Martin.
Survivors include a daughter, Pat Martin of Gautier; a brother, Earl Harrison of Gadsden, Ala.; four sisters, Bobbie Meyers of Biloxi, Willie Bee Myers of Philadelphia, Miss., Shirley Harrison of Lucedale and Robbie Mae Todd of Houston, Georgia; and two grandchildren.
A service will be at 2 p.m. today at O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Gautier, where friends may call 30 minutes before service time. Burial will be in Jackson County Memorial Park in Pascagoula.
Allene E. Wilkinson
Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday at Riemann Funeral Home Chapel, 25th Avenue in Gulfport.
GULFPORT - Mrs. Allene E. Wilkinson, 65, died Friday, Nov. 27, 1998, in Gulfport.
Mrs. Wilkinson, a native of Owensboro, Ky., had been a Gulfport resident for 30 years. She was a Support Assistant at the Naval Oceanographic Center, and was a member of Grace Memorial Baptist Church in Gulfport.
Mrs. Wilkinson was preceded in death by a son, Steven R. Wilkinson.
Survivors include her husband, James Benton Wilkinson; a son, James B. Wilkinson Jr., both of Gulfport; two daughters, Mary W. Carr of Long Beach and Julann W. Broussard of Biloxi; two brothers, Boyd Brown of Las Vegas and Leon Brown of Owensboro; a sister, Marie Brown Sauve of Golden, Washington; a grandchild; and a great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Crestlawn Memorial Park.
