Charles William Boykin
Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Riemann Funeral Home Chapel, 25th Avenue, Gulfport.
LONG BEACH - Charles William Boykin, age 74 and a resident of Long Beach, died Thursday, June 29, 2000, in Gulfport.
Mr. Boykin was a native of Deemer, MS, and a former resident of Atlanta, GA, for 15 years, where he was an account executive for Coca Cola Company. He was sales manager for Coast Coca Cola Bottling Company in Gulfport for 20 years. Mr. Boykin served in the U.S. Navy as Signalman 3rd Class during World War II. He served in the U.S. Army as a First Lieutenant during Korea and received the Bronze Star. He was retired from the Army Reserve as a Captain. Mr. Boykin received his bachelor's degree from Carter was a native of Picayune and was a mechanic. He was a member of Pilgrim Bounds Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Derrick Zeno of New Orleans; his mother, Pearline Tillman; his father, Ulysses Wilson; three brothers, Darrell Carter of Leesville, La.; four stepbrothers, Victo Wilson of Hattiesburg, Stanley Wilson of Montgomery, Ala., Herman Wilson and Kenneth Wilson, both of Picayune; five stepsisters, Brenda Taylor of New Orleans; Virginia Wilson of Slidell, Doreen Jones, Alphia Wimberly and Charlotte Tyner, all of Picayune; and a grandson.
A service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Pilgrim Bounds Baptist Church in Picayune where friends may call one hour before service time. Burial will be in Picayune Cemetery. Baylous Funeral Home in Picayune is in charge of arrangements.
Ruby Pearl Clinton
Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi.
D'IBERVILLE - Ruby Pearl Clinton, 87, died Thursday, June 29, 2000, in D'Iberville.
Mrs. Clinton was born in Hattiesburg and had been a resident of the Coast since 1952. She was a member of the Bible Way Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher and pianist. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward B. Clinton.
Survivors include seven daughters, Mrs. Harry "Dorothy Pearl" Clinton Morgan, Alice Clinton Thornton and Hope D. Clinton Morgan, all of D'Iberville, Bonnie Jean Clinton Pitts of Pearl, Carolyn Clinton Clark of Gulfport, Joyce Faye Clinton Broadway Dulier of Saucier, and Mary Dale Clinton Morgan of Biloxi; two sons, Harold Edward Clinton of D'Iberville, and Rickey Edward Clinton of Biloxi; two sisters, Mary Ruth Eubanks of Petal and Louise Mardis of Hattiesburg; a brother, Chapel Bryant of Gulfport; 69 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and 22 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 7 to 10 tonight at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi. A service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel with burial in Bible Way Baptist Church Cemetery.
Dillion Gage Seth Cooke

GULFPORT - Dillion Gage Seth Cooke, 4 days, died Thursday, June 29, 2000, in Gulfport.
Survivors include his parents, Brandon Cooke and Lori Kendrick, both of Gulfport; his grandparents, Carolyn Landry, Connie Waddell and Lyndon Kendrick, all of Gulfport; and his great-grandparents, Marilyn and Grant Doyle of Gulfport, and Brenda Denney of Mississippi, passed on to meet her Lord on June 29th, 2000, after a long bout with Cancer. She died at Keesler Medical Center at 2:30 a.m. She was born May 12th, 1976, in Lake Charles, Texas; two brothers-in-law, David Young and James Dicus; two sisters-in-law, Dece Trahan and Lynn Gaffney; one nephew, Paul Trahan; five nieces, Chanly Young, Whitney Young, Kayla Gaffney, Kristie Gaffney, and Bethany Trahan; her grandmother and grandfather, Bessie and Dewey Hebert of Grand Lake, LA; along with a host of other special relatives and treasured friends.
The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi is in charge of services.

PASCAGOULA - Ellen E. Daves, 89, died Tuesday, June 27, 2000, in Kingwood, Texas; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula where friends may call from 1:30 p.m. until service time. Burial will be in Crestlawn Memorial Park in Ocean Springs.

Edith S. Foster

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Edith Smith Foster , 83, died Thursday, June 1, 2000.
Mrs. Foster was a native of Jacksonville, Fla., and had been a resident of Biloxi for 48 years. She was a 1934 graduate of Robert E. Lee High School and was employed with the H.E. Hair Insurance Company in Jacksonville and the Veterans Administration Hospital in Biloxi. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Biloxi and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilson J. Foster ; and two brothers, John Smith and William Smith.
Survivors include a son, Wilson "Jerry" Foster of Tallahassee; a daughter, Nancy Yanish of Washington, D.C.; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Riemann Memorial Funeral Home Chapel on Beauvoir Road in Biloxi where friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time.
Alex James Foxworth

PICAYUNE - Mr. Alex James Foxworth, 74, died Thursday, June 29, 2000, in Picayune.
Mr. Foxworth was a native of Richton and was a crane operator in the aluminum industry. He was a member of Resurrection Life Church in Picayune.
Survivors include his wife, Iva Nadine Cox Foxworth; a son, James A. Foxworth; four daughters, Louise Whitfield, all of Picayune, Carol Sue Odom of Carriere, Brenda Faye Milstead of Lumberton and Sharon Odom of Poplarville; four brothers, Sid Foxworth, Roser Foxworth, Chess Foxworth and Ernest Foxworth, all of Richton; a sister, Mary Jane Isham of Pensacola; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A service will be at 10 a.m. today at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel in Picayune with burial in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Picayune.
