Services for Mrs. Winnie Smith Flemmons, 70, of Cleveland, MS, were held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, December 21, 2002, at the First Baptist Church in Cleveland, with Rev. Danny Powell and Rev. Milton Burd officiating and a 2 p.m. graveside service at Oakwood Cemetery in Tunica, under the direction of Ray Funeral Home.
Mrs. Flemmons died December 18 in Memphis, TN. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and was employed at Roy Collins Construction for 20 years. She and her late husband Edmon Flemmons were former Tunicans.
Mrs. Flemmons is survived by two daughters, Becky O'Reilly of Houston, Washington. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. S.D. Austin, Milton Bradley, Terry Burd, David Caudill, Johnny Conjusta, Harry Howarth, Dick Flowers, Tommy Naron, Dr. Scott Nelson, Dutch Parker, Ken Pate, I.G. Patterson, Ross Reily, Mickey Thompson, Ralph Thompson, and Foster Wilkinson.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church in Cleveland.
Frank G. White

Services for Frank G. White, 82, of Tunica were held at 10 a.m. on June 6, 2003, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in Oakwood Cemetery. Rev. Paul Husband and Bro. Danny Smith officiated.
Mr. White, a retired mechanic for Farm Equipment in Tunica, died June 2 at his home. He was born June 20, 1921 at St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Mr. White is survived by his wife Julia Annie White of Tunica and one daughter, Cindy White of Olive Branch, MS.
Pallbearers were Roy Austin, Parvin Miller, Ted Emanuel, Charles Young, Jesse Powell, and Joe Goff.
Lee Hunter Berry
Died: Monday, June 02, 2003
Services for Lee Hunter Berry, 33, of Tunica, will be held at 2 p.m. today, Thursday, June 5, 2003, at Tunica Presbyterian Church, with burial in Oakwood Cemetery. Rev. Paul Husband will officiate.
Berry, a member of the family farm operation, died June 2 in Florence, MS. He was born January 14, 1970, in Memphis, TN, and was a graduate of Tunica Institute of Learning.
Berry is survived by his parents Charles and Jimmie Berry of Tunica; one sister, Elizabeth Berry McRoberts of Montgomery, AL; and two brothers, Dr. James Montgomery Berry of Corinth, MS, and Curtis Albert Berry of Tunica.
Pallbearers were Wilton Spencer, Greg Griffin, Tony Roberts, Trey Eubanks, Jim Files, Scott Berry, Brian Goff, and Bill Goff.
The family requests that memorials be made to Tunica Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Barney Flint McDonald

Services for Mrs. Barney Flint McDonald, 68, of Crenshaw, MS, were held at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 30, 2003, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in Oakwood Cemetery here. Clint Harris and Rev. Doug Hardin officiated.
Mrs. McDonald, a clerk for Watson's Cash Store, died May 28 at home. She was born Sept. 11, 1934 in TX, Calvin Flint of Harrison, AR, Nolan Flint of Lexington, MS, and Vernon Flint of Sacramento, CA; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Phillip Pinion, Scooter McMahon, Oscar Benner, Willie B. Chambers, Benny Rowland, and Tommy Miles.
The family requests that memorials be made to the Methodist Family Life Center.
Mrs. Gladys Louise Boling

Services for Mrs. Gladys Louise Boling, 76, of Como, MS, will be held today (Thursday, May 15, 2003) at 10 a.m. at Wells Funeral Home Chapel in Batesville, MS, with burial in Longtown Cemetery in Crenshaw, MS. Rev. R.D. Stump, Dr. Jim Howard, and Mr. Tim Alsup will officiate the services.
Mrs. Boling, a homemaker, died May 12 at her home. She was born November 11, 1926, in Friars Point, MS, to Will and Gertrude Cardella Marshall Hardy. Mrs. Boling was a member of Senatobia Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband R.G. Boling of Como; one daughter, Janice Boling Glover of Tunica; four sons, Larry Boling of Senatobia, MS, Kenneth Boling of Tunica, Jimmy Boling of Sardis, MS, and Ricky Boling of Murfreesboro, TN; one brother, Kenny Hardy of Rena Lara, MS; sixteen grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Samuel B. Laughlin

Services for Samuel B. Laughlin, 26, of Byhalia, MS, were held at 10 a.m. on April 26, 2003, at Holly Springs Funeral Home. Bro. Jim Polk officiated.
Mr. Laughlin, a cable technician and subcontractor, died April 12 at his home. He was born June 18, 1976 in Tunica to Charlie B. Laughlin and Laura Dunson.
Mr. Laughlin is survived by his wife Michelle G. Laughlin of Byhalia; two sons, Devin Laughlin of Byhalia and Skyler Laughlin of Arkansas; and three sisters, Anne Richmond and Rebecca Laughlin, both of Byhalia, and Sarah Diaz of Chicago, IL.

Mrs. Hudspeth, a homemaker, died May 5 at Baptist DeSoto Hospital in Southaven, MS. She was born in TX, and Delmer Foster of Simpsonville, SC; and two grandchildren, Altair Lane of Chicago, IL, and Morgan Jones of San Diego, CA. Pallbearers were Joe Jackson, John Grob, Morgan Jones and Parvin Miller.

Ms. Laughlin, a homemaker, died April 13 at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis, TN. She was born in Illinois, and Rebecca Laughlin of Byhalia; one son, Sam Laughlin of Byhalia; and eleven grandchildren.
Cora Mae Mayo

Services for Mrs. Cora Mae Mayo, 88, were held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15, 2003, at Hollywood Baptist Church, where she was a member, with burial in Longtown Cemetery.
Mrs. Mayo, a homemaker, died April 12 at Tri-Lakes Medical Center in Batesville, MS. The widow of Guy Mayo, she is survived by four daughters, Sadie O'Neal of Tunica, Sandra Tyler of Crenshaw, Shirley Sewell of Senatobia, and Edna Holliday of Eudora; three sons, Sonny Mayo of Sledge, Bobby Mayo of Moon Lake, and Terry Mayo of Southaven; a half-sister, Lottie Wilson of New Albany; two half-brothers, John Fair and George Fair, both of Illlinois; a stepbrother, Jack Cox of Arkansas; twenty-two grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Callie Pfannenstiel

Graveside services for Callie Pfannenstiel, 57, of Tunica were held at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 11, 2003, at Fayetteville National Cemetery in Fayetteville, AR.
Ms. Pfannenstiel, a registered radiologic technician for 30 years, died April 7 at her home. She was born September 18, 1945, in San Francisco, CA to Paul Overmohle and Mable Lucille Grimm Overmohle. She was preceded in death by her husband Alfred Jacob Pfannenstiel.
Ms. Pfannenstiel is survived by two daughters, Jodi Weaver of Green briar, AR, and Sandi McCandless of Memphis, TN; and three grandchildren, Brooke Weaver of Green briar, Bailey Sykes of Memphis, and, and Alyssa McCandless of Memphis.
Robert Earl Lambert

Services for Robert Earl Lambert, 62, were held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 13, 2003, at New Zion MB Church in Tunica, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery. Rev. Clarence Nelson officiated at the services.
Mr. Lambert died April 6, 2003. He was born in Tunica on June 18, 1940, to Robert Henry and Emma Holden Lambert and lived in Chicago for many years. He was a security officer for over 30 years.
Mr. Lambert is survivedby his mother Emma Lambert of Tunica; four sons, Leon Lambert, Curtis Lambert, Khallis Lambert and Quenton Lambert; four daughters, Loretta Jones, Mary Frances Lambert, Chanita Lambert, and Shakeitha Lambert; nine brothers, Willie Lambert, Andrew Lambert, Lewis Lambert, Arthur Lambert, Theodore Lambert, Chester Lambert, Thomas Lambert, Cornelious Lambert, and Percy Lambert; four sisters, Barbara J. Lambert, Ernestine L. Beard, Sherry L. Anderson, and Velma L. Nunn; twenty-three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife Ollie, his father, one sister, three brothers, and one granddaughter, Shyvonne.
Stephanie Kathryn Chambers
Died: Sunday, March 30, 2003
Services for Mrs. Stephanie Kathryn Chambers, 49, of Sarah, MS, were held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 3, 2003, at C.O. Pate Funeral Home in Senatobia, MS, with graveside services and burial at Oakwood Cemetery in Tunica at 3:30 Thursday. Rev. Doug Hardin officiated at the Tunica services.
Mrs. Chambers, a homemaker, was killed in an automobile accident on Highway 3 near Sarah on March 30. She was a veteran of the Vietnam conflict serving in the U.S. Air Force.
Mrs. Chambers is survived by her husband Joe Chambers of Sarah, MS; three step-daughters, Shanna Chambers, Jennifer Chambers and Sydney Chambers, all of Senatobia, MS; one sister, Rhonda Campbell Brown of Tunica; a brother, Mark Butler of Nesbit, MS; a niece and nephew, Jessica Mallard and Don Mallard; and one step-grandson, Isiah Chambers.
Pallbearers were Barry Blenis, Rick Perry, Robin Oliver, Barry Welch, Oscar Benner, and Jimmy Jepsen.
Claude H. Gayden
Died: Monday, March 17, 2003
Services for Claude H. "Bud" Gayden of Sardis, MS, formerly of Tunica, were held at 2 p.m. on March 20, 2003, at Hernando Funeral Home, with burial in Oakwood Cemetery in Tunica.
Mr. Gayden, 73, a retired heavy equipment operator, died March 17 at Baptist Hospital DeSoto in Southaven, MS. He was a member of Faith Chapel Holiness Church.
He is survived by his wife Mary Faye Gayden of Sardis; five daughters, Bobbie Floyd of Strayhorn, MS, Robbie Parrish of Sardis, Barbara Brownlee of Batesville, MS, Brenda Howe of Hernando, and Patricia Freeman of Como, MS; two sons, Richard Lowell Gayden and James Richard Gayden, both of Sardis; a sister, Gladys Strickland; a brother, Jimmy Lee Gayden of Coldwater, MS; thirteen grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Acting as pallbearers were his grandsons Brian Casey, Chad Casey, Justin Freeman, Dale Gayden, Richard Gayden, and Neil Howe.
