Charles Wilson Dammen Sr.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Sunday at Holder-Wells Funeral Home Chapel in Moss Point.
MOSS POINT - Mr. Charles Wilson Dammen Sr., 82, died Thursday, April 22, 1999, in Pascagoula.
Mr. Dammen was born Oct. 5, 1916, in Carlisle, Ark., and was a retired truck driver for Concrete Products. He was a member of Kreole United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl B. and Ollie Texas; four sisters, Ida Gaskins of DeValls Bluff, Ark., Frances Hilsdon of Claredon, Ark., Betty Newbill of Pascagoula and Doris Frenzel of Mobile; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point. A service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home chapel with burial in Serene Memorials Gardens in Escatawpa.
Edith Farmer
BILOXI - Edith Farmer, 76, died Friday, April 23, 1999, in Ocean Springs.
Arrangements are incomplete at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi.
Rev. J.K. Hegwood
Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Monday at Pine Grove United Methodist Church.
MOBILE - Reverend J.K. Hegwood, resident of Mobile, Texas, Reverend Hegwood was an active United Methodist minister for 52 years in the state of Mississippi.
Reverend Hegwood was universally known and loved by church members and friends for his caring spirit, quick wit, and loving attitude that represents the very best in church ministry. A veteran of World War II, he held a B.S. degree from the University of Southern Woods (William), of Mobile, Tennessee; sons, Ron Hegwood (Sue) of Aurora, Alabama; grandchildren, Michael Woods, Gia Santos, Rhonda Neilson, Stephanie Douglas, Theresa Mashburn, Julie Hegwood and Carol Hegwood; nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, Hardin Hegwood and Edward Hegwood; one sister, Lillian Breland; nieces, nephews, many other relative and friends.
Visitation will be Sunday afternoon, April 25, 1999, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the George County Funeral Home in Lucedale, Mississippi 39110 or phone (601) 853-5000.
Nora Viola Hudson
Funeral: 2 p.m. today at Holder-Wells Funeral Home Chapel in Moss Point.
PASCAGOULA - Nora Viola Miller Hudson, 92, died Thursday, April 22, 1999, in Pascagoula.
Mrs. Hudson was a lifelong resident of Pascagoula and was a Catholic.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Bryan "Jimmy" Hudson; her parents, Ida Mae and Joseph Miller; three brothers, Malti Miller, John L. Miller and Hosea Miller; a sister, Della Savage; a son, James Thomas "J.T." Hudson; a daughter, Viola Louise "Sis" Hester; and two grandchildren. Andrew Hester and Darlene Hester.
Survivors include two sons, Robert A. Hudson of Pascagoula and Edward F. Hudson of Moss Point; a daughter, Joyce M. Hudson price of Pensacola; two sisters, Celeste Ladnier and Louise Miller Rockafellor; 11 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
A service will be at 2 p.m. today at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point with burial in Green wood Cemetery.
Richard Hulbert
Funeral: 2 p.m. today at Riemann Memorial Funeral Home, U.S. 49 North, Gulfport.
CEDAR HILL, Mo. - Richard "Dale" Hulbert, 71, of Cedar Hill, Mo., died Wednesday, April 21, 1999, in St. Louis, Mo.
Mr. Hulbert was a native of Conger, Missouri. He was a retired aero-space engineer and served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include sons, Michael Hulbert and daughter-in-law, Ann, of Hillsboro, Mo., and Matthew Hulbert of St. Louis, Mo.; daughters, Diane Cox and son-in-law, Bob, and Deborah Hulbert, all of St. Louis; a half brother, Paul "Buck" Hulbert of Iowa, Janice Jacobs and Erma Hawkinston, both of Kentucky, and Vivian Shaw of Perkinston.
Visitation was held Friday at Riemann Memorial Funeral Home, U.S. 49 North, Gulfport. A service will be at 2 p.m. today at the funeral home chapel with burial in Crane Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Henry C. Kinney Jr.
Funeral: Graveside service at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Biloxi National Cemetery.
MOSS POINT - Henry C. "Buck" Kinney Jr., 78, of Moss Point, died Tuesday, April 20, 1999, in Pascagoula.
He was born April 20,1921, in Green sboro, Florida, in 1965, where he once again showed his strong Patriotic spirit with his dedicated service to the manned space flight for the Saturn-Apollo Launch Team at JFK Space Center. He moved to Moss Point, MS, in 1970 where he was employed at Ingalls Shipbuilding until 1979.
Survivors include his loving wife of 58 years, Clara A. Kinney of Moss Point; two sons, Henry C. Kinney III of Lighthouse, FL, and John Michael Kinney of Baton Rouge, LA; two daughters, Barbara Voss of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Beatrice Barton of Moss Point; eight grandchildren, Billy Voss, Matthew Voss, Robert Voss, Brian Kinney, Eric Kinney, Erin Kinney, Maria Barton and Joshua Barton; two great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mildred McDermott.
Graveside services with full military honors will be Monday, April 26, 1999, at 10:30 a.m. at Biloxi National Cemetery in Biloxi.
Donations may be made in memory of Buck Kinney to Magnolia Chapter of POW's, 404 Magazine Circle, Gulfport, MS 39507.
Arrangements are made by O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula and Gautier.
Ann McGraw
PASS CHRISTIAN - Mrs. Ann Westmorland McGraw, 88, died Wednesday, April 21, 1999, in Pass Christian.
Mrs. McGraw was a native of Duck Hill and a resident of the Gulf Coast for the past 10 years. She was a nurse.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Lonnie Johnson and Annie Hale Johnson; and her husband, John Edmond McGraw.
Survivors include a son, Bill Weeks; a daughter, Marion Neves of Gulfport; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Private family services have been held. Riemann Funeral Home, 25th Ave., Gulfport, was in charge of arrangements.
Eileen B. Savoy

SAN ANTONIO - Eileen B. Savoy, 76, passed away on April 19, 1999, in San Antonio, Louisiana.
Eileen and Harry were longtime residents of the Biloxi-Gulfport area, residing on Happy Landing Lane in D'Iberville from 1966 to 1978 and Venetian Gardens in Gulfport from 1978 to 1996. In 1996 they moved to Air Force Village Retirement Community in San Antonio, Iowa.
GULFPORT - Robert Carl Stein, 56, of Gulfport, died Wednesday, April 21,1999, in Gulfport.
Mr. Stein was born in Harlan, New York, and Angela Stein of Gulfport; two sons, Timothy Stein of Fort Hood, Iowa, Pat Pash of Harlan, Iowa, Don Stein of Omaha, NE, Carl Stein of Odessa, MO, Paul Stein of Griswold, IA, and Jim Stein of Storm Lake, IA; and one granddaughter, Stephanie Lynn Swarthout.
Mr. Stein was sent from Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Gulfport to Pauley Funeral Home in Harlan, Texas; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be after 1 p.m. today at Riemann Funeral Home, 25th Ave., Gulfport. A service will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with burial in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Gulfport.
