Harvey R. Johnson
Funeral: 11 a.m. today in the Owens-Ramey Chapel in Wiggins.
NEW ORLEANS - Harvey R. Johnson, 61, died Monday, May 29, 2000, in New Orleans.
Mr. Johnson was a resident of New Orleans.
Survivors include three son, Quinston Reed Johnson, Efren Johnson and Patrick Johnson; two daughters, Cynthia Johnson-Robinson and Colandra Johnson-McGill, all of New Orleans; three brothers, Carleton Johnson, Jerry Johnson and Leroy Johnson, all of Wiggins; 14 grandchildren; and a great grandchild.
Visitation was held Friday at Owens-Ramey Funeral Services in Wiggins. A service will be at 11 a.m. today in the funeral home chapel with burial in New Zion Church Cemetery.
Louise King
Funeral: 10 a.m. today in the George and Lillian Lockett Memorial Chapel in Gulfport.
GULFPORT - Louise Holmes King, 92, died Thursday, May 25, 2000, in Gulfport.
Ms. King was a native of Biloxi and had been a resident of Gulfport for 10 years. She was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Gulfport and worked with the Catholic Diocese of New Orleans for 30 years.
She was preceded in death by a son, William King; and her parents.
Survivors include a son, Leroy King of Gulfport; six grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
A service will be at 10 a.m. today in the George and Lillian Lockett Memorial Chapel in Gulfport. Burial will be in Pine Ridge Garden in Gulfport. Lockett-Williams' Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Ruth McClain
Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday in the Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home Chapel in Ocean Springs.
OCEAN SPRINGS - Ruth "Pauline" Ritchie McClain, 57, died Friday, June 2, 2000, in Pascagoula.
Mrs. McClain was born in Bogalusa, LA, and had been a resident of the Coast since 1963. She was a family-oriented person and a homemaker. She was the former wife of Kenny McClain Sr. of Ocean Springs. They had three children together. She was of the Baptist Faith.
She was preceded in death by a son, Kenny McClain Jr.; and her parents, Daniel T. Ritchie and Lillie Mae Ritchie.
Survivors include two sons, Danny McClain and Donny McClain, both of Ocean Springs; two sisters, Elsie Maier and Eunice Stewart, both of Livingston, LA; three brothers, Eugene Ritchie, Kenneth Ritchie, both of Slidell, LA, and William "Bo" Ritchie of Butler, FL; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday, June 4, at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Ocean Springs. A service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, June 5, in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Bellande Cemetery.
Daniel Ray Moulder
Funeral: 10 a.m. today at Riemann Funeral Home Chapel in Long Beach.
LONG BEACH - Daniel Ray Moulder, 38, died Tuesday, May 30, 2000, in Ocean Springs.
Mr. Moulder was a native of Wiggins, and had been a lifelong resident of the Coast. He was a graduate of Harrison Central High School and was employed in the construction industry.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Barney and Carolyn Pettis Moulder.
Survivors include two daughters, Terra Rae Moulder and Hillary Jane Moulder, both of Long Beach; and three sisters, Kaye Davenport and Karen Jeanfreau, both of Long Beach, and Kim Ladner of Pass Christian.
Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Riemann Funeral Home in Long Beach. A service will be at 10 a.m. today on the funeral home chapel with burial in Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens in Long Beach.
William M. Parker
Funeral: 2 p.m. Sunday at Coalville United Methodist Church.
BILOXI - William M. "Bill" Parker, 91, died Thursday, June 1, 2000, in Gulfport.
Mr. California, Lorna Benoit of Toronto, Canada, and Ann Power of Newfoundland; four brothers, Cecil Benoit, Harold Benoit, Bill Benoit and Stephen Benoit, all of Newfoundland; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
A Mass will be at 12:30 p.m. Monday at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church where friends may call an hour before service time. Burial will be in Biloxi National Cemetery. The Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.

Ronald E. Sharkey
Funeral: Memorial service at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church in Bay St. Louis.
DIAMONDHEAD - Ronald E. Sharkey, 52, of Diamondhead, died Tuesday, May 23, 2000, in Biloxi.
Mr. Sharkey was a native of Cincinnati, Mississippi Gulf Coast in 1992 from Las Vegas, Nev., where he worked as Casino Shift Manager at Casino Magic in Bay St. Louis.
Survivors include his wife, Marsha Sharkey; a son, Richard W. Sharkey; a daughter, Crystal A. Sharkey; his parents, Frank and Thelma Sharkey of Cincinnati; and a sister, Donna Sharkey Godbey.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, June 6, 2000, at 1 p.m. at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church, 228 South Beach Blvd., Bay St. Louis.
Any and all contributions should be made for Crystal Sharkey to the Ron Sharkey College Fund at any Hancock Bank.
John Bernard Vinet
WAVELAND - John Bernard "Kojak" Vinet, 72, of Waveland, died Sunday, May 28, 2000, in Waveland.
Mr. Vinet was a native of New Orleans, LA, and a resident of Waveland. He was of the Catholic faith. He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 77 in Waveland.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William C. and Estelle Fuchs Vinet Sr.; and two brothers, Francis X. Vinet and Laurence D. Vinet.
Survivors include two daughters, Sharon V. Drendel and Lisa V. Bellocq, both of Metairie, LA; two brothers, William C. Vinet Jr. of Springfield, VA, and Edward J. Vinet of Harvey, LA; three sisters, Sister Mary William, D.C. of Los Altos, CA, Winifred V. Marcell of Metairie, LA, and Mary V. Waltke of Sturgis, MI; a granddaughter, Jennifer L. Drendel of Irving, TX; and a devoted friend, Jill B. King of Pass Christian.
A funeral service was held Friday at the Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis. A graveside service was held Friday at Biloxi National Cemetery in Biloxi.
The family prefers memorials to the Waveland Animal Shelter, 322 Gulfside Street, Waveland, MS 39576.

PASS CHRISTIAN - Betsy L. Bowser, 60, died Wednesday, June 14, 2000, in Gulfport.
Mrs. Bowser
was a native and lifelong resident of Pass Christian. She was a member of Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church in Pass Christian and a member of the Sunday coffee club.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Alice Guillot Ashley; her husband, Admiral J. Bowser; a brother, Thomas Ashley Jr.; and a sister, Hortense Barnes.
Survivors include a son, Golman Hilton Ray Jr. of Gulfport; a daughter, Susie Swanier of DeLisle; two step-daughters, Joy Bowser of Pass Christian and Tammy Bowser of Gulfport; two step-brothers, Charles Bowser and Carl Bowser, both of DeLisle; three sisters, Elizabeth Cardreon and Mary Wimberly, both of Pass Christian, and Alice Bradley of DeLisle; two brothers, Woodrow Ashley and Mark Ashley, both of DeLisle; fourteen grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, June 19, 2000, at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church in Pass Christian where friends may call one hour before service time. Burial will be in St Paul Cemetery in Pass Christian.
Lockett-Williams' Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
