Billy Ray Bulloch
GULFPORT - Billy Ray Bulloch, 70, died Wednesday, June 14, 2000, in Gulfport.
Bulloch was a native of Bogalusa, La., and a member of the Pentecostal faith.
Survivors include a son, Jesse Frank Bulloch of Gulfport; two sisters, Evelyn Knight and Marth Floyd, both of Carter was a native of Ft. Benning, Ga., and a resident of the Coast for 40 years. He was employed as a water well driller and was a member of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Loie and Mattie Lou Carter.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Carter of Pass Christian; four daughters, Nancy Carter of Bay St. Louis, Cindy Carter Alexander, both of Biloxi; three step-sons, Daniel Martin of Carter of Tupelo, Kerry L. Carter Jr. of McComb; two sisters, Bonnie Kay Carter of Mary Esther, Fla., and Arleen Harris Payton of Sherwood, Ark.; three sons, Carl W. Harris Jr., Teddy Harris, and Jerome Harris, all of Gulfport; a sister, Mary Alice Freightman Ward of Gulfport; 27 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
A service will be at 3 p.m. today at the First Missionary Baptist Church in Handsboro where friends may call one hour before service time. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Gulfport is in charge of arrangements.

BILOXI - Florence Lamey LeBatard, 92, died Thursday, June 15, 2000, in Biloxi.
Mrs. LeBatard was a native of Biloxi. She was a retired seafood worker and a homemaker. She was a member of the Faith Christian Church of Ocean Springs.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles LeBatard Sr.; parents, Leslie and Louise Lamey; and two sisters, Theresa Lamey Feldt and Honor Lamey Jacquet.
Survivors include her son, Charles "Manny" LeBatard Jr. and his wife, Aurelia of Biloxi; a sister, Bertha Lamey Battaya of Gulfport; a grandson, Michael LeBatard and his wife, Susan of Biloxi; a great-granddaughter, Misty LeBatard; a great-grandson, Beau LeBatard; and numerous nieces and ephews.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Sunday, June 18, 2000, at Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe, 675 Howard Ave., Biloxi.
A service will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday, June 19, 2000, at the chapel, and burial will be in the Biloxi City Cemetery.

Vera V. Miller
Funeral: 3 p.m. Sunday at Riemann Funeral Home, 25th Ave., Gulfport.
DIAMONDHEAD - Vera V. Hester Miller, 74, died Thursday, June 15, 2000, in Gulfport.
Mrs. Miller was a native of Smith County, and had been a resident of the Coast for over 50 years. She was a homemaker and a member of Guinn Memorial United Methodist Church in Gulfport.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde J. Miller; her parents, Virgil H. and Letha Mae Butler Hester; and a brother, George William "Son" Hester.
Survivors include two sons and their wives, Robert Howard and Mary Alice Miller of Jackson, and William Joseph and Barbara Miller of Ocean Springs; a daughter and her husband, Betty Ann and Richard Paul Swanson Jr. of Diamondhead; a brother, Clyde J. Hester of Gulfport; five sisters, Mary Lois Bradley, Virgie Earline Moore and Dorothy Mae Saucier, all of Gulfport, Ernestine Hester of Long Beach, and Diane Hester Holmes of Gulfport; and four grandchildren, Pamela Denise Miller, Ashleigh Erin Miller, Richard Paul "Trey" Swanson III, and Camille Grace Swanson.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. tonight at Riemann Funeral Home, 25th Avenue, Gulfport.
A service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 18, 2000, in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Van Carpenter of Main Street United Methodist Church in Bay St. Louis officiating. Music for the service will include, "He Touched Me," "Amazing Grace," "A Closer Walk with Thee" and "His Eye Is On the Sparrow."
Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Gulfport with Robert H. Miller, William J. Miller, Richard Swanson Jr., Clyde J. Hester and Douglas Cronin serving as pallbearers.
Ruth Kirk Milne
Funeral: Graveside service at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Biloxi National Cemetery in Biloxi.
GULFPORT - Ruth Kirk Milne, 75, died Wednesday, June 14, 2000, in Gulfport.
Mrs. Milne was born in Clarksburg, W. Va., and had been a resident of the Gulf Coast for about 20 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Milne.
Survivors include two daughters, Pat Jordan of Saucier and Sandra Moryc of Detroit; eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday, June 19, 2000, at Biloxi National Cemetery in Biloxi.

BAXTERVILLE - Clara Margurite Molsbee, 85, died Thursday, June 15, 2000, in Hattiesburg.
Mrs. Molsbee was a member of Baxterville Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Frank Molsbee; one son, G.W. "Dub" Molsbee; and one daughter, Jessie Molsbee.
Survivors include two sons, Troy Thomas Molsbee of Purvis and Jimmy Ray Molsbee of Baxterville; and one daughter, Sallie Ruth Crosby of Bradenton, Fla.; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Monday, June 19, 2000, at White Funeral Home in Lumberton.
A service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 20, 2000, at White Funeral Home Chapel.

Kenneth Lamar Poole

MOSS POINT - Kenneth Lamar "Dusty" Poole, 66, died Friday, June 16, 2000, in Pascagoula.
Mr. Poole was born on May 8, 1934 in Mobile County, Ala., and was a retired truck driver.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Joanne Poole of Moss Point; a step-daughter, Stacie Pullin of Escatawpa; a step-son, Billy Cates of Wade; four daughters, Judy Pullin of Ocean Springs, Debbie Tompkins of Moss Point, Joanie Polansky of Helena, and Darlene Finley of Milton, Fla.; two brothers, Elvin Poole of Grand Bay, Ala. and Junior Poole of Orange Grove; two sisters, Eula McDuffie of Orange Grove and Betty Southern of Forts Lake; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, June 19, 2000, at Jackson County Funeral Services, where friends may call one hour before service time. Burial will be in Orange Grove Cemetery.
Carl H. Smith

OCEAN SPRINGS - Carl H. Smith, 84, died Friday, June 16, 2000, in Ocean Springs.
Mr. Smith was a native of Henrietta, Texas, where he played football. He attended Camron University in Texas.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Doris E. Smith; a daughter, Sandra Jones; his parents, R.A. and Ida Mae Binion Smith; seven brothers and four sisters.
Survivors include two daughters, Claudia Harrell of Gautier and Juanita Smith of Ocean Springs; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 18, 2000, at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes.
A graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, June 19, 2000, at Floral Hills in Gulfport.
