Joseph Patton Henderson
Funeral: Graveside at 2 p.m. Sunday at Live Oak Cemetery in Pass Christian.
OMAHA, Neb. - Joseph Patton Henderson, 55, of Omaha, Louisiana, in 1945. After serving in the United States Army during the Vietnam era, he developed, owned, and operated Henderson Dental Laboratory in Omaha.
His survivors include his son, Jason Henderson of Omaha; his mother, Mrs. Willard Patton Henderson of Cleveland, Alabama, and Mrs. Beth Walsh of Idaho Springs, Colorado; and nephews, Mr. Van Henderson of Cleveland, Mr. James William Henderson, IV of Knoxville, Texas, Joe Jackson of Denver, Colorado, and Robert Taylor of Lajolla, Mississippi, on Sunday, December 3, at 2 p.m. with the Reverend Charles R. Johnson officiating.
Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis, MS is in charge of the arrangements.
Dianne G. Henry
WAVELAND - Dianne Grass Henry, 57, died Monday, Nov. 27, 2000, in Bay St. Louis.
Mrs. Henry was a native of New Orleans and a longtime resident of Waveland. She was a member of St. Clare Catholic Church in Waveland and was a graduate of St. Joseph Academy of Bay St. Louis. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi and the Nereids Carnival Association.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert N. and Lillian Feldmann Grass; a brother, Albert John Grass; and a grandchild.
Survivors include a son, Patrick W. Henry of Cross Plains, Tenn.; two daughters, Geri T. Henry of Waveland and Michelle L. Henry of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, in the Edmond Fahey Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Waveland Cemetery.
Ira O. Herrington Jr.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Sunday at the Riemann Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, U.S. 49 North, Gulfport.
WOOLMARKET - Mr. Ira O. "Sonny" Herrington, Jr., 65, of Woolmarket, died Thursday, November 30, 2000, in Gulfport.
Mr. Herrington was a native of Collinsville, MS, and a longtime Gulf Coast resident. He graduated from East Texas, Faye Johnson of Long Beach and Norma Davis of Metairie, La.; a sister, Norma M. Hynes; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A service will be at 11 a.m. today in the chapel of Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal Street, New Orleans, where friends may call after 8 a.m. Burial will be in St. Roch No. 1.
William H. Sanford Sr.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Sunday at Riemann Funeral Home, 25th Avenue, Gulfport.
GULFPORT - William "Bill" H. Sanford Sr., 78, died Thursday, Nov. 30, 2000, in Biloxi.
Mr. Sanford had been a resident of Gulfport since 1956 and was employed with Duplichane Buick in Biloxi as general manager. He was a WWII veteran where he served as a pilot in the Army Air Forces. He was commissioned as a deputy sheriff by Sheriff Hobbs and re-commissioned by Sheriff West Virginia.
Visitation will be at the Riemann Funeral Home in Pass Christian on Wednesday, December 6, from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. when a memorial service will be conducted.
Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of South Washington Ave., Gulfport, MS 39503.
Gladys L. Winans
Funeral: 10:30 p.m. Monday at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi.
BILOXI - Gladys L. Winans, 74, of Biloxi, died Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2000, in Biloxi.
Mrs. Winans was a member of Biloxi B.P.O.E. No. 606 Ladies Auxiliary, VFW Auxiliary and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority where she served as president. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Biloxi where she served in many capacities, including financial secretary.
She was preceded in death by her parents, J.W. and Gladys Hartzog Gardner; a son, William R. Winans, Jr.; and a sister, Sarah Winans.
Survivors include her husband, William R. "Bill" Winans of Biloxi; a daughter, Susan L. Sexton of Memphis; three sons, George H. Winans of Bangor, Pa., James A. Winans of McComb and Daniel L. Winans of Ocean Springs; two sisters, Shirley Demo of Biloxi and Linda Nichols of Lovell, Wyo.; two brothers, James V. "Doc" Gardner of Pearl; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren
Visitation will be Sunday, Dec. 3, 2000, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi. The funeral service will be Monday, Dec. 4, 2000, at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home chapel with burial in Biloxi National Cemetery.
The family requests that memorials be made to First United Methodist Church in Biloxi or Quality Hospice.
Mrs. Anna Sterne Bridges
Funeral: 11 a.m. Monday at St. Johns Episcopal Church in Ocean Springs.
OCEAN SPRINGS - Mrs. Anna Sterne Bridges, 92, of Ocean Springs, died Wednesday, December 6, 2000, in Ocean Springs.
Mrs. Bridges was a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy No. 623 in Biloxi and the ADAH Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star No. 49 in Ocean Springs. She was a member of St. Johns Episcopal Church in Ocean Springs.
Mrs. Bridges was preceded in death by her husband, James Bridges; and her parents, William T. Sterne and Julia Franklin Treloar Sterne.
Survivors include family members John Peter Tucei Jr. and Julie of Rome, Italy; William and Margaret Tucei, Mary Elaine Tucei Mabry and Julia Tucei Mills, all of Ocean Springs; Lawrence and Willie Tucei of Gautier; Franklin D. Tucei and Catherine Schnell, both of Biloxi; Carl and Maxine Cannon of Apple Valley, Calif.; and Virginia Cannon Champeaux of Butler, Ala.
A church service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, December 11, 2000, at St. Johns Episcopal Church in Ocean Springs where friends and family may visit an hour before service time. Burial will be in Southern Memorial Park. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements.

John Franklin Cooley
Funeral: 2 p.m. Sunday at Grace Memorial Baptist Church in Gulfport.
GULFPORT - John Franklin Cooley, 67, died Thursday, Dec. 7, 2000, in Long Beach.
Mr. Cooley was a native of Wayne County and a resident of Gulfport. He was a retired assistant chief of supply for the Veterans Administration and served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of Grace Memorial Baptist Church in Gulfport and was a former member of Toastmasters.
Survivors include his wife, Beth Mitchell Cooley; a daughter, Lisa Heinrich, both of Gulfport; a son, John Mark Cooley of Brentwood, Tenn.; a brother, Douglas Edward Cooley of Gulfport; and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 tonight at Riemann Funeral Home, 25th Avenue, Gulfport. A service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Grace Memorial Baptist Church where friends may call an hour before service time. Burial will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Biloxi National Cemetery.
