Delories F. Walters
Funeral: 10 a.m. today at Community Baptist Church in Gulfport.
GULFPORT - Mrs. Delories F. Walters, 81, died Sunday, April 16, 2000, in Gulfport.
Mrs. Walters was born Jan. 7, 1919, in Magee. She was a member of Community Baptist Church on Landon Road in Gulfport. She was a member of Miriam Chapter 67 Order of the Eastern Star and honorary member of Handsboro Chapter 374 Order of the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Nolen Nathaniel Walters; her father, Donnie Percy Fortenberry; her mother, Bertie F. Hill; four brothers, O.D. Hill, Alkinson Hill, James C. Hill, and Charles E. Hill; and three grandchildren, Jacqulyn Christyl Herrington, Conner Nathaniel Walters and Kent Smith.
Survivors include two sons, Evans O. Walters and Vernon W. Walters Sr., both of Gulfport; a daughter, Bertie W. Sullivan of Hattiesburg; two brothers, Aaron W. Fortenberry of Wiggins and Rev. Isom D. Hill of Ozark, Ala.; three sisters, Mamie F. Stanley of Midwest City, Okla., Sue F. Cochran of Laurel and Janice H. Clark of Seminary; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
Visitation was from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Riemann Funeral Home, 25th Avenue, Gulfport. A service will be at 10 a.m. today at Community Baptist Church, Landon Road, Gulfport, where friends may call one hour before service time. Burial will be in Evergreen Gardens Cemetery in Gulfport.

Carl Wells
Funeral: 2 p.m. today at Holder-Wells Funeral Home Chapel in Moss Point.
GAUTIER - Mr. Carl Wells, 82, died Sunday, April 16, 2000, in Gautier.
Mr. Wells was born July 10, 1917, in Birmingham, Ala., and was employed as a railroad engineer with Florida.
Survivors include a daughter, Treva Haynes of Tallahassee; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Graveside services at 1 p.m. Monday in Evergreen Gardens Cemetery in Gulfport. Riemann Funeral Home of Gulfport is in charge of arrangements.
Ruby L. Grantham
Funeral services: Graveside at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Merit Cemetery in Mendenhall.
WIGGINS - Ruby L. Grantham, 80, died Saturday, April 4, 1998, in New Orleans.
Mrs. Grantham was a housewife and was a member of First Baptist Church in Wiggins.
Survivors include a son, Glen Grantham of Wiggins; two sisters, Jewel Morgan of New Orleans and Katherine Boutwell of Gulfport; three grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at Moore Funeral Home in Wiggins. Graveside services will follow at 1:30 p.m. in Merit Cemetery in Mendenhall.
Ralph Austin Maddox
Funeral services: 10 a.m. Monday at the U.S. Naval Home Chapel in Gulfport.
GULFPORT - Ralph Austin Maddox, 66, died Monday, March 30, 1998, in Biloxi.
Mr. Maddox was born in Philadelphia, Pa., and had been a resident of Gulfport for five years. He retired from the Navy in 1969 after more than 20 years of service.
Survivors include a daughter, Theresa S. Chadwick; two sons, Ralph A. Maddox Jr. and Robert A. Maddox, all of Toms River, N.J.; and four grandchildren.
A service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the U.S. Naval Home Chapel in Gulfport, with burial in Biloxi National Cemetery. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Gulfport is in charge of arrangements.
Anita Louise Meek
Funeral services: 2 p.m. Monday at Temple Baptist Church in Big Point.
PASCAGOULA - Anita "Ann" Louise Wallace Meek, 55, died Friday, April 3, 1998, in Pascagoula.
Mrs. Meek was born March 20, 1943, in Columbus, Ga. She was the owner and president of Alpha Printing Co., and was employed from 1962 to 1980 with Ingalls Shipbuilding in Pascagoula. She was a voluntary worker and league official in Dixie Youth Baseball, Dixie Boys League, Dizzy Dean Baseball, Pascagoula Pee Wee Football League, Pee Wee Basketball League and the Pascagoula High School Dug Out Club.
She was preceded in death by her father, V.M. Wallace.
Survivors include her husband, W.C. Charles Meek Jr. of Pascagoula; four sons, John Wallace Meek of Big Point, Charles Duane Meek and Richard Kevin "Ricky" Meek, both of Pascagoula, and Glenn Randal "Randy" Meek of Mobile; her mother, Ella Ree May Wallace of Moss Point; a sister, Betty Wallace Parks of Nashville; and four granddaughters.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 tonight at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point. A service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Temple Baptist Church in Big Point, with burial to follow in Serene Memorial Gardens in Escatawpa.
Christine Mitchell
GULFPORT - Christine Mitchell, 78,of Gulfport, died Friday, April 3, 1998, in Jackson.
Arrangements are incomplete at Hartwell's Christian Mortuary in Gulfport.
Arthur Moran
Funeral services: 10 a.m. Monday at St. John, The Evangelist, Catholic Church.
GULFPORT - Arthur Moran, 75, of Gulfport died Friday, April 3, 1998, in Gulfport.
Mr. Moran was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Lillie Moran; a sister, Etha Moran Peterson; and a brother, Oscar Moran Sr.
Survivors include his wife, Rosalie Cuevas Moran of Gulfport, Louisiana; a sister, Ethel Finhold of Pass Christian, Pennsylvania.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, David Woodcock and Adam Trivanovich.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, John and Virginia Trivanovich; and her grandchildren, John A. Trivanovich, Gary W. Trivanovich, David E. Trivanovich and Laura M. Walpole; and five great-grandchildren.
The funeral service was held Saturday, April 4, 1998, at Riemann Funeral Home, 25th Avenue, Gulfport. Burial was in Evergreen Gardens.

PICAYUNE - Navy Capt. Robert Dean Workman, 76, died Saturday, April 4, 1998, in Picayune.
He was a native of Iowa; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
A private memorial will be held at a later date. McDonald Funeral Home in Picayune is in charge of arrangements.
