Services were held Friday, June 20, 2003, at Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home for Jimmie Loyce Aultman, 59, of Sumrall, who died June 18 at her residence.
Burial was in Aultman Cemetery.

Mrs. Aultman was a homemaker and a member of New Hope Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Aultman of Sumrall; a son, Chris Aultman of Moselle; two daughters, Joree Bryant of Sumrall and Leta Dehon of Destin, Fla.; a sister, Marlene Rawls of Perkinston; and five grandchildren.
Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home of Sumrall was in charge of arrangements.

PATSY BALLARD
LAUREL
Services were held Friday, June 20, 2003, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home for Patsy Ballard, 72, of Laurel, who died June 17 in Laurel.
Burial was in Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Laurel.
Mrs. Ballard was a homemaker and was of the Church of Christ faith.
Survivors include her husband, L. C. Ballard; three sons, Lynn Ballard and Jerry Ballard, both of Laurel, and Gene Ballard of Longview, Tenn.; three daughters, Betty Waldrup and Renea Adams, both of Laurel, and Elaine Elsner of Bend, Texas; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Memory Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel was in charge of arrangements.

CARRIE CARTER BARRETT
PETAL
Services were held Saturday, June 21, 2003, at Moore Funeral Home for Carrie Carter Guiles.
Survivors include nephews and nieces, Johnny M. Guiles of Petal, Raz Carter, Jr., of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Annie Sue Allen of Harrison, Washington Court House, Ohio, and Rachel McCready of Ocean Springs; two sisters, Lalla Coulter of Bassfield and Joy Lowery of Sumrall; a brother, Wayne Aultman of Columbia; 22 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

HERSCHEL BUSTIN
PETAL
Services were held Friday, June 2, 2003, at Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home for Herschel E. Bustin, 71, of Petal, who died June 17 at Forrest General Hospital.
Burial was in Forrest Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Bustin was self-employed and a member of Runnelstown First Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Bustin.
Survivors include two sons, Michael Bustin and Victor Bustin, both of Petal; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

STUART H. BUTLER
MOSELLE
Services were held Monday, June 23, 2003, at Jones Funeral Home Chapel for Stuart H. Butler, 55, of Moselle, who died June 20 at his residence.
Burial was in Soules Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Michael Butler, Guy Sanford, Eddie Sanford, Allen Butler, Danny Butler, and David Butler.
Mr. Butler was a member of the Baptist faith. He was a truck driver for almost 40 years and was employed with Ergon Trucking at the time of his retirement.
Survivors include a son, Michael M. Buter of Woodbridge, Virginia; a daughter-in-law, Rhonda D. Butler; two brothers, Ken Butler of Ellisville and Lane Butler of Moselle; a sister, Scharlotte Sanford of Seminary; three grandsons, Gage Butler, Brandon Butler, and Cody Butler, all of Woodbridge, Virginia; and a granddaughter, Megan Butler of Woodbridge, Virginia.
Jones Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

CARL E. FENNELL
PETAL
Services were held Thursday, June 19, 2003, at Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home for Carl E. Fennell, 56, of Petal, who died June 17 at Forrest General Hospital.
Burial was in Sunrise Cemetery.
Mr. Fennell served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and was a recipient of the Purple Heart. He was a member of Central Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charlie Fennell.
Survivors include his wife, Debbie A. Fennell of Petal; a daughter, Roxanna C. Fennell of Irving, Texas, Walter Fennell of Hazlehurst and Richard Fennell.
Hulett Funeral Home of Hattiesburg was in charge of arrangements.

CHARLES C. HOWELL
HATTIESBURG
Graveside services were held Friday, June 20, 2003, at Roseland Park Mausoleum for Charles C. Howell, 77, of Hattiesburg, who died June 18 at Wesley Medical Center.
Rev. Mike Cochran officiated.
Born in Philadelphia, Mr. Howell was a longtime resident of Hattiesburg where he owned White House Antiques, the first antique store in Hattiesburg, as well as Carriage House Motors. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a member and deacon of Bay Street Presbyterian Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette S. Howell, and a brother, Jimmy Dale Howell.
Survivors include a son, Charles T. Howell of Petal; and two sisters, Sue Thornton of Brandon, and Betty Jean Roberts of Magee.
Moore Funeral Home of Hattiesburg was in charge of arrangements.

BILLIE E. KEYES
HATTIESBURG
Services were held Friday, June 20, 2003, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home for Billie Earl Keyes, 69, of Hattiesburg, who died June 18 at Care Center of Laurel.
Burial was in Hickory Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Keyes retired as a printer from the from the Mobile Press Register and was a member of Wesley Southern Methodist Church in Hattiesburg.
Survivors include a son, Kevin Earl Keyes of Mobile, Ala.; a daughter, Tina Sue Williamson of Mobile, Ala.; two sisters, Naomi A. Keyes of Hattiesburg and Virginia Breland of Laurel; two brothers, George Lavard Keyes and R.L. Keys, Jr., both of Laurel; and two grandchildren.
Memory Chapel Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

LAVERNA J. FLOWERS LEE
LUMBERTON
Services were held Saturday, June 21, 2003, at Hulett-Winstead Purvis Chapel for Laverna J. Flowers Lee, 75, of Lumberton, who died June 18 at Forrest General Hospital.
Burial was n Guidry Cemetery in Batson, Texas; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home of Hattiesburg was in charge of arrangements.

OTHA LOFTON
LAUREL
Services were held Thursday, June 19, 2003, at Calhoun First Baptist Church for Otha Lofton, 69, of Laurel, who died June 14 at South Central Regional Medical Center.
Burial was in Union Line Cemetery in Soso.
Mr. Lofton was an entrepreneur in Jones and Holmes Counties.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George W. Lofton, Jr., and Rosie Lee Holifield Lofton.
Survivors include his wife, Lynn Lofton of Laurel; a son, Wayne Lofton of Panama City Beach, Fla.; a daughter, Cherrie Dearman of Laurel; three brothers, Van Lofton, Coyt Lofton, and Lonnie Lofton, all of Laurel; four grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Colonial Chapel Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

ESTELLE P. MAY
COLUMBIA
Services were held Monday, June 16, 2003, at Colonial Funeral Home for Estelle P. May, 85, of Columbia, who died June 14 at Myrtles Nursing Home.
Burial was in Lott Cemetery.
Mrs. May was a homemaker and a member of Hurricane Creek Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Zerle T. Pounds and Zellie Purvis Pounds.
Survivors include a sister, Mary Jane Cameron of Hattiesburg; and eight nieces and nephews.
Colonial Funeral Home of Columbia was in charge of arrangements.
