Casey Ray Ellington
Funeral services for Casey Ray Ellington, 16, of Kosciusko were held Friday at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church with burial in Parkway Cemetery.
Ellington, an 11th grade student at Kosciusko High School, died July 28, 2004 in an automobile accident near Laurel Hill in Leake County. He was employed for the summer at Sunflower Food Store. He was a member of Kosciusko's First Baptist Church.
He is survived by his father, Ray Ellington of Kosciusko; his mother, Monita McCool, and stepfather, Ken McCool of Kosciusko; grandparents, Buford and Lillie Ellington of Kosciusko and Annette Atwood of Brandon.
Pallbearers were Larry Joe Moyer, Robert Clark, Tommy Galligan, John Mooney, Steve Myers, Bill Ross and Adam Hodges.
Rev. Barry Corbett and Dr. Ed Hartman officiated.
Memorials may be made to the Youth Ministry of Kosciusko First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 70, Kosciusko, Miss. 39090.

Matthew Holdiness
Services for Matthew Stephen Holdiness, 18, of Kosciusko were held Friday at 2 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church with burial in Salem Cemetery.
Holdiness, a senior at Kosciusko High School and a member of the KHS baseball team, died July 28, 2004 in an automobile accident near Laurel Hill in Leake County. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his parents, Dr. Gary and Donna Holdiness of Kosciusko; brother, Samuel Holdiness of Kosciusko; grandfather, R.L. Mitchell of Calhoun City; grandmother, Nettie Holdiness of Kosciusko; and other extended family.
Jordan Funeral Home handled arrangements.
Serving as pallbearers were Johnny Boswell, Eddie Thomas, Sid Steen, Marc Sims, Hunter Woodard and Wes Myers.
Honorary pallbearers were members of the baseball team of Kosciusko High School.
Dr. Ed Hartman and Rev. John Armstrong officiated.

Ruby Lee Hanna McGee
Services for Mrs. Ruby Lee Hanna McGee, 84, of Kosciusko were held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Parkway Cemetery.
Mrs. McGee, owner/operator of the convenience store Pick N' Pay, died Aug. 3,. 2004 at her residence. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Samuel Hammond Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution.
She was the widow of J.H. "Shorty" McGee.
She is survived by her children, Kay Downs of Kosciusko, Jackie McGee New York, Crystal Fontain of Mississippi State University from 1966 until his retirement in 1990. The Florida. He was a member of Pi Alpha Theta, Kappa Delta Pi, Phi Kappa Pi, and Phi Delta Kappa honorary societies. He was past president of the Southeastern Regional Association of Teacher Educators and past chairman of the Southern Regional Council of Educational Administrators.
He served as host of the National Conference on Educational Administration in 1985. He was the author of numerous articles, research reports and books on education and genealogy. He was a member of the National Genealogical Society, the Family Research Association of Mississippi, the Augusta, Ga. Genealogical Society and other genealogical groups.
Dr. Sistrunk is listed in the "Who's Who in the South and Southwest", "Who's Who in Education", "Personalities of the South" and "The International Dictionary of Biography." He was a Mason and a member of the Starkville Rotary Club. He was currently serving on the School Board of the Okolona City School System.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Patricia Dornbusch Sistrunk; three sons, David F. Sistrunk of Kosciusko, Carlos L. Sistrunk of Starkville, Walter Eugene Sistrunk of Eupora; two daughters, Kathryn Rimer of Moss Point and Brenda Landry of Toronto, Canada; a stepson, O.E. Bradway III of Vicksburg; two stepdaughters, Patricia D. Bradway of Okolona and Susan C. Bradway of Silver City, N.M.; two sisters, Eugenia Rogers and Joanna Sistrunk, both of Jacksonville, Fla.,; one brother, Miner M. Sistrunk of Jacksonville; 16 grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Honorary pallbearers were grandsons Shannon Sistrunk, David L. Sistrunk, Michael Sistrunk, Neill Sistrunk, Brady Sistrunk, Spencer Landry and John Bradway.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
Gregory Ryne Talley
Gregory Ryne Talley, 17, of Tupelo died Wednesday, July 28, 2004, as the result of an automobile accident between Carthage and Philadelphia, along with his friends, driver Matthew Holdiness and passenger Casey Ellington of Kosciusko.
A native of Tupelo, he was about to begin his senior year at Tupelo High School. An active sportsman, he played for both the high school varsity football and baseball teams, and church basketball. He was a Christian and a member of The Orchard United Methodist Congregation of Tupelo, where he enjoyed fellowship and worship services. An avid Cubs baseball fan and car racing fan, he also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Services were Friday at The Orchard United Methodist Congregation with Dr. Bryan Collier, Dr. Randy Von Kanel and Dr. David Hamilton officiating. Burial was in Lee Memorial Park, with W.E. Pegues Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his mother, Dana Dickerson, his father, Greg Talley, a sister, Payton Dickerson, and a brother, Hunter Talley, all of Tupelo; his grandparents, Bud and Dot Talley of Verona, and Bobby Gene Harrelson and Dot Harrelson of Tupelo and other extended family.
Pallbearers were Brandon Stacks, Jake Lee, Craig Langley, Luke Atkins, Matt Anderson, Chris Bennett, Drew Bennett and Seth Renick.
Honorary pallbearers were members of the Tupelo High School football and baseball teams, and the Tupelo High School Class of 2005.
Frank E. Anderson
Frank E. Anderson, 71, of Kosciusko died Aug. 5, 2004 at the Attala County Nursing Center following an illness of several months.
He was a retired logger and was the son of the late Pearlean Summerall and Jesse Anderson.
He is survived by a son, Frank Anderson Jr.
