Effie Boyette Gregory Drummond
Graveside services for Mrs. Effie Marie Boyette Gregory Drummond, 88, of Durant were held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Mizpah Cemetery.
Mrs. Drummond, a native of Attala County, died Aug. 7, 2004 at her residence. She was a retired secretary with the U.S. Government. She was a Methodist.
She is survived by a sister, Elizabeth McAbee of Durant.
Rev. Billy Develin officiated with Southern Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Inell Davis McMillan
Services for Mrs. Inell Davis McMillan, 90, of Kosciusko were held Sunday at 4 p.m. at Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
Mrs. McMillan, retired cafeteria employee at Dublin High School in Coahoma County, died Aug. 6, 2004 at the Attala County Nursing Center. She was a member of McAdams Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late John L. and Savannah Elizabeth Davis.
She is survived by her husband, Rev. Jesse McMillan; daughters, Juanita Guntharp of Pontotoc, Janette Frazier of Kosciusko, Mildred Lester of Madison, Faye Tackett of Lyon and Vivian Ervin of Lynchburg, Tenn.; sons, Ed McMillan of Lambert, Roy McMillan of Nordheim, Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was a member of Chester Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Patterson of Ackerman; two sons, Mike Patterson of Jackson and Johnny Patterson of Pigeon Forge, Tenn.
Gregory Ramage
Services for Gregory Ramage, 37, of Kosciusko were held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial in North Union Cemetery.
Ramage, a roofer, died Aug. 5, 2004 at the University Medical Center in Jackson.
He is survived by his wife, Sherry Moudy Ramage; a daughter, Tiffany Ramage and a son, Marcus Ramage, both of Kosciusko; two brothers, Dean Ramage of Brandon and Kevin Ramage of Kosciusko.
Rev. Jason Moore officiated.
Pallbearers were David Williams, James Edwards, Justice Gibson, Wayne Wilkerson, Matt Tucker and Corvan Greer.
Dorothy Terry Smith
Services for Mrs. Dorothy Terry Smith of Kosciusko were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Parkway Cemetery.
Mrs. Smith, retired machine operator at Garan Inc., died Aug. 8, 2004 at her residence. She was a member of Second Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Linda Compton of Kosciusko; a son, Johnny Terry of Kosciusko; two stepdaughters, Jodi Boykin of Florence, and Rhonda McCrory of Kosciusko; a stepson, Tony Smith of Kosciusko; five sisters, Jean Baecher of Vardaman, Beatrice Caldwell, Francis Hobbs, both of Hernando, Corene Moreland of Calhoun City, Emmalane Pounds of Derma; a brother, Dale Bailey of Derma; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands Frank Terry and David Leonard Smith; sisters, Audie Mosley and Lucille Burgess; mother, Florence Vanlandingham and father, Monroe Bailey.
Serving as pallbearers were Matt Compton, Jason Compton, Ronald Caldwell, Larry Nowell, Bernard Rachel and David Mosley.

Peggy Ann Spencer
A memorial service for Kosciusko native Mrs. Peggy Ann Spencer, 56, of Citra, Fla., were held Saturday at 1 p.m. at orange Lake Baptist Church.
Mrs. Spencer died July 28, 2004. She was owner/operator of Peggy's Beauty Shop in Ft. Pierce, Fla. She was a member of Orange Lake Baptist Church where she was song leader for many years.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Verdalen Spencer of Citra; two sons, Carl Spencer and Ray Spencer of Pittsburgh, Pa.; three daughters, Velma Spencer, Renne Hamblin of Vero Beach, Fla., Linda Garceau of Sebastian, Fla.; a brother, Tobie Grice of Pearl; a sister, Linda Joyce Holley of Kosciusko; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Orange Lake Baptist Church or Hospice of Marion County.
Lue Bates Wilson
Services for Mrs. Lue Bates Wilson, 89, of Nashville, Tenn., were held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Holiness Church of Christ Deliverance.
Burial was in New Banyon Cemetery at Goodman directed by Winters Funeral Home.
Mrs. Wilson died Aug. 3, 2004 at the Baptist Medical Center in Nashville. She was a memer of the Holiness Church of Christ Deliverance in Durant.
She is survived by three daughters, Meela Kyles, Lucille wise and Sadie McCarty; two sons, Eddie Wilson and Luther D. Wilson.

Charles Swinton Agent
Funeral services for Charles Swinton Agent, 78, of Philadelphia were held Monday at 1 p.m. at John E. Stephens Chapel Funeral Services with burial in Arlington Baptist Cemetery. Agent, a veteran of the U.S. Army, died Oct. 8, 2004 at Maison DeVille Nursing Home in Harvey, La. He was a retired truck driver and a member of Arlington Baptist Church. He is survived by a daughter, Judy Boudreaux of Marrero, La.; a son, Donnie Agent of Harvey, La.; three sisters, Elner Coghlan of Kosciusko, Marie Flowers of Gretna, La., Sherlene Nance of Philadelphia; brothers, Kern Agent of Denison, Carter of Carthage; a son, Dennis Boyd of Carthage; a sister, Barbara Ann Ashwell of Salem, Ore. and a brother, Dennis Wilson Boyd of Irving, Texas, Warren Collins of Carthage; sisters, Rita Lewis of Tennessee, and Terry Demarest of Albany, La.; 12 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.D. Fortenberry in 1998.
Rev. Curt Pace officiated with John E. Stephens Chapel Funeral Services in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Tommy Belk, Matthew Belk, Billy Dean Belk Jr., John Williams, Kevin Belk, Andy Savell and Cody Collins.
Nora Lee Weeks Jennings
Mrs. Nora Lee Weeks Jennings, 77, of Kosciusko, a retired clerk for Hammond Hardware, died Sept. 21, 2004 at her residence.
Services were held Sept. 23 at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church with burial in Parkway Cemetery.
Mrs. Jennings was a member of First Baptist Church and a long time Sunday School teacher.
She is survived by her husband, Marcus Pellon Jennings; sons, Danny Weeks of N.Y. and David Jennings of Meridian; a daughter, Laurie Elaine Jennings Browning of Kosciusko; brothers, Gilbert Garland Weeks and Thomas Michael Weeks, both of Carriere, and James Clifford Weeks of Tylertown; a sister, Nedra Kay Doyle of Carriere; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert Weeks and Olive Pearson Weeks; and sister Margaret Elaine Weeks Herring.
Jordan Funeral Home handled arrangements.
