John Anderson Stott
KENNEDALE, Texas. He was 78.
He was a native of Green wood, a World War II U.S. Army veteran and a graduate of Texas with his late wife in December 1999. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Kennedale, Texas and one brother, Roy Stott, Jr. of Virginia Beach, Va.
Memorial donations may be made to French Camp Academy, a Christian school and orphanage in French Camp.
Jessie B. Collins
WEST POINT -- Funeral services for Jessie B. Collins will be held Saturday at the Strong Hill Missionary Baptist Church iat 11 a.m. Burial will be in the Strong Hill Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Israel Lee will officiate.
Visitation will be held today from 4 to 7 p.m. at Carter's Mortuary Services Chapel in West Point.
Mrs. Collins died Sunday, May 30, 2004, at the Clay County Medical Center in West Point. She was 70.
Roy Chester 'Brell' Johnson
Funeral services for Roy Chester "Brell" Johnson will be held Monday, June 14, 2004 at Griffen United Methodist Church in Starkville. Burial will be in Oddfellow Cemetery. Elder Jones will officiate.
Visitation will be held Sunday, June 13, 2004, from 1 to 5 p.m. at Mississippi Medical Center in Eupora. She was 97. She was a retired homemaker and a member of the Center Grove Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J. Y. Turner and one daughter, Lavern T. Buckner.
Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Etoil T. Templeton of Maben; one son, Mr. John Harvey Turner of Maben; six grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and eleven great-great-grandchildren.
Edward Turner Baxter, Jr.
ACKERMAN -- Funeral services for Edward Turner Baxter, Jr. will be held today at 10 a.m. at Coleman Funeral Home Chapel in Ackerman. Burial will be in Concord Baptist Cemetery near Ackerman. The Rev. James Sanders will officiate.
Visitation was held yesterday from 5 to 9 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home.
Mr. Baxter died Sunday, June 13, 2004, at his home in Saucier. He was 81.
Robert E. Bradley
Funeral services for Robert E. Bradley will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at West Memorial Funeral Home chapel. Burial will be in the Union Hill Cemetery. Elder Isham Patton will officiate.
Visitation will be held from 1 to 7 p.m. today at West Memorial Funeral Home, which is handling the arrangements.
Mr. Bradley died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2004, at Oktibbeha County Hospital. He was 46.
An Isola native, he worked in the Poultry Science Department at Mississippi Funeral Services Chapel.
Mrs. Davis died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2004, at Starkville Manor Nursing Home. She was 83. She was a retired Mississippi Funeral Services is handling the arrangements.
Daniel Wayne 'Danny' Fields
SENATOBIA -- Funeral services for Daniel Wayne "Danny" Fields will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Pate-Jones Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Sumner.
Mr. Fields died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2004, In Tunica. He was 56. He was a sign painter for 42 years and a member of Webb Baptist Church. He attended West Tallahatchie High School.
Annie Lou Hairston
Funeral services for Annie Lou Hairston will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Charity Full Gospel Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Turner Cemetery. The Rev. Bobby McMississippi Medical Center in Jackson. She was 74.
Services for Mrs. Williams will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection. The Rev. William Livingston, rector, will officiate. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. in the church Student Center. She will be inurned in the church columbarium.
A longtime resident of Starkville, Mrs. Williams was born in Murray, Illinois and Mississippi Education Association and while in Tennessee.
Mrs. Williams was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection. She had been a member of the Starkville Sorosis Club, Georgia Mangrum, Austin McClary, Megan and Joshua Murphy.
A gathering of family and close friends are invited to the Tomlinson residence on Bethesda Road, Oktibbeha County, in memory of our loved one, Saturday, May 31, 3 to 5 p.m.
Curtis Edward Clifford
GAINESVILLE, Fla. --Memorial services for Curtis Edward Clifford were held in Athens, Ohio.
Mr. Clifford died Sunday, July 27, 2003, at E.T. York Hospice Care Center in Gainesville, Fla. He was 62. He was a commercial real estate agent with Coldwell Banker in Gainesville. He was also a Senior Vice President with M & M Parrish, Coldwell Banker in Gainesville. He was a Episcopal church member.
Survivors include her son, Colby Clifford of Gainesville, Fla.; one sister, Christy Clifford Ortman of Athens, Ga.; two nephews, Chris Clifford of Hong Kong and Kenneth Derek Clifford of Starkville; one niece, Cindy Clifford Marsh of Starkville; one grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Bette Clifford of Athens, Florida, 32608.
Raymond Bill Williams
LOUISVILLE -- Funeral services for Raymond Bill Williams will be held today at 3 p.m. at Bevill Hill Methodist Church in Louisville. Burial will be in Bevill Hill Cemetery. Rev. Phil Gerber will officiate.
