Junior F. Brown

Junior F. Brown, 79, died Jan. 23 at his residence.
Funeral services were held Jan. 25 from the chapel of Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl, with burial following in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Brown was a native of Newton County. He had lived in Pearl for 55 years. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 37 years, Mary Irene Brunson Brown. He was a member of Skyway Hills Baptist Church, a fifty-year mason in the John P. Byrd Lodge, an Eastern Star and a veteran of World War II in the Navy. He enjoyed fishing and going to the nursing homes and playing his violin with the Rankin Ramblers.
Survivors include his wife, Imogene Lathem Brown of Pearl; brothers, Hubert M. Brown of Forest, Ollie H. Brown of Carthage and Earl N. Brown of Linton Ind.; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Texas; sister, Nellie Ford of Waynesboro; mother-in-law, Sarah Williams and husband Clyde of Pearl; and eight grandchildren.

Welford L. (Roho) Myers Sr., 75, died Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2006 at Mississippi, 16 Northtown Dr., Jackson, MS 39211.
JAMES HAYWARD BREEDEN

James Hayward Breeden, 57, died Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2006, at the University of Texas, Mr. Farnham lived in Florence for the last six years, after living most of his life in McComb.
An Air Force Veteran of World War II, Mr. Farnham was a successful businessman, building and operating Ole Hickory Sausage Plant that ran refrigerated delivery trucks statewide from McComb, along with other business ventures.
He was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Florence and lived his life as a testimony of Matthew 6:33: "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you."
He was preceded in death by his daughter Linda Barnett.
Mr. Farnham is survived by his wife of 59 years, Yvonne Farnham, of Florence; sons David Farnham and wife Katie, of Brookhaven, and Sam Hutson Farnham and wife Eddie, of Dothan, Ala.; daughters Bobbie Hart, of Florence and Vicksburg, and Becky Morgan and husband Mike, of Florence; brother Herbert Farnham, of Mississippi for two years.
Mrs. Ginn was preceded in death by her father, Harold C. Phillips; and her grandparents, Ferdinand and Ruby Phillips and Harry C. and Nola Parker.
Survivors include her children, Kimberly Ginn Cullum and husband Chad, of Birmingham, Ala., and Calif. and Mary V. (Ginger) Phillips, of Columbia, S.C.; brother Harold Phillips and wife Judy, of Summit; and the father of her children, Joe Kelly Ginn.
Pallbearers were Trey Lovertich, Harry Davis, Chad Cullum, Jeff Williams, Hal Sherman and Jeff Lane.
Garry Dale Huff
Fannin
Garry Dale Huff, 50, died Sunday, Dec. 24, 2006, at St. Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital in Jackson. Services were Dec. 27 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon with burial in Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl. The Rev. Harry Hawkins and the Rev. Bernard Nail officiated.
Mr. Huff was born in Jackson and had lived most of his life in the Fannin Community in Rankin County. He loved hunting, fishing and NASCAR racing.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Huff, and a nephew, Christopher Measealls.
He is survived by his wife, Angela Huff, of Fannin; his mother, Helen Huff, of Fannin; daughter Jacquelyn Huff, of Brandon; son Blake Cockrell, of Fannin; step-daughter Ashley Cockrell, of Morton; sister Rebecca Hill, of Brandon; grandson Micah Lacy, of Brandon; and a number of other relatives.
Pallbearers were David Franklin, Larry Hill, Bill Bailey, Kenny Warren, Jimmy Dale Franklin, Leo Jackson and Lee Jackson. Honorary pallbearers were Ed Bailey and Howard Bryant.
Memorials may be sent to the American Heart Association, Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. Services were Dec. 23 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon with burial in Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl. The Rev. Ron Purser officiated.
Linda was born in Ripley and had lived in Florence for the past eight years. She was an active member of Walker Hill Baptist Church in Brandon.
Linda was a registered nurse for 11 years and was employed by Mississippi Division, Inc., 1380 Livingston Lane, Jackson, MS 39213 or Walker Hill Baptist Church Building Fund, 100 Wade Patrick Road, Brandon, MS 39042.
Dorothy Brown Turcotte

Dorothy Brown Turcotte, 85, died Jan. 5 at Rankin Medical Center in Brandon.
Funeral services were held Jan. 7 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Pearl, with burial in Lakewood South Cemetery.
Mrs. Turcotte was a member of First Baptist Church of Richland. She retired from the Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, surrounded by his family.
Funeral services were held Dec. 31 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon, with burial in Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl. The Rev. Mitchell McDonald and the Rev. Rod Borders officiated the services.
Mr. Jones was born Nov. 17, 1920 in the Rankin County community of Johns. After graduating from Johns High School and Texas and Atlanta. He retired as chief of the Adjudication Division and returned to Texas, Lynn Jones Jr. and his wife Carol of New Albany, Ohio, and Wayne Jones and his wife Kendra of Pensacola, Fla.; his grandchildren, Mary Ann and Jennifer Cash, and Curtis, Jennifer, Christopher, Parker, Anna and Austin Jones; great-granddaughter, Chance Ellis; sister, Merle East of Brandon; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Philip Jones, Dennis Jones, Emery DeWitt, Victor Jones, John Phillips and Rob Fisher.
