TONJA SUE GREENE DENNIS
TOONE, TENN.
Tonja Sue Green e Dennis, 43, of Toone, Tenn., died Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2007 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
The wife of Art Dennis Sr., who survives, she was a waitress. She was born April 1, 1963 in Forrest, the daughter of Travis Ray Green e, of Pearl and the late Betty Nell Fortenberry Green e. She had made her home in Toone, Tenn. since 1988. She loved playing football with her son and was Baptist in belief.
Services were held Jan. 25 at Shackelford Funeral Directors Bolivar chapel with Ricky Watkins officiating. Burial took place in Middleburg Cemetery near Bolivar, Tenn.
In addition to her husband, whom she married on April 13, 1992, and her father, survivors include her son Arthur James Dennis Jr. and daughters Brandy and Natash Powell, all of Toone, Tenn.; brothers Randell and Nathan Green , both of Pearl; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

STEVEN ALBERT HARMON
SHARON
Steven Albert Harmon, 51, died Friday, Jan. 26, 2007 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson. Services were Jan. 29 at Austin-Bell Chapel in Whitehouse, Tenn., with burial in Whitehouse Memorial Gardens. Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl coordinated the services.
Mr. Harmon was a member of Pinelake Baptist Church in Brandon.
He is survived by his wife Lisa and son Grant, of Sharon; parents Fred and Thelma Harmon, of Portageville, Mo.; and brother Stan Harmon, of Aiken, S.C.
EARLINE HERNBLOOM
PEARL
Earline Foreman Hernbloom, 82, died Thursday, Jan. 25, 2007 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson. Services were Jan. 27 at First United Methodist Church in Raleigh with burial in the Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery in Mize. Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl handled the arrangements.
Mrs. Hernbloom was a charter member of McLaurin Heights United Methodist Church in Pearl and at her death was a member of First United Methodist Church in Raleigh.
She was a graduate of Mize High School and a member of the last graduating class of the Jackson Infirmary School of Nursing. A registered nurse for more than 40 years, she retired from the Smith County Health Department in 1986.
She was devoted to her family and those she cared for during her nursing career.
She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth E. Hernbloom Sr. and her parents Wallace and Fannie Sullivan Foreman.
Survivors include son Kenneth Hernbloom Jr. and wife Susan, of Brandon; daughters Linda Hancock and husband Jimmy, of Picayune, Sandra Rushing and husband Steve, of Florence and Nita Gilmore and husband Jim, of Pearl; grandchildren Tonya Bairfield, Jay and Josh Hancock, Todd, Tim and John Rushing, Sam Gilmore and Sarah Kathryn Gilmore; and three great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be sent to the Carter and brothers Casper and Luther Rhodes.
Survivors include sons Wayne Perkins and wife Judy, of Pelahatchie and Ronnie Perkins, of Pelahatchie; daughter Sandra Vinson and husband Hillman, of Raleigh; sister Mary Banes, of Pelahatchie; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

ADRIAN C. BOX
PEARL
Adrian C. Box, 83, died Saturday, Feb. 3, 2007 at home. Funeral services were Feb. 6 at the Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Pearl with burial in the Parkway Cemetery in Kosciusko. Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl handled the arrangements.
Mr. Box was a member of Parkway Pentecostal Church in Madison. He was also a veteran of both the Army and the Air Force. He will truly be missed by all his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife Johnnie Frazier Box; son Ricky Box; grandson Ben Evins; and his parents Phillip C. Box and Mamie Jones Box.
Survivors include his son Rudy S. Box, of Rogers, Ark.; daughters Janice Franklin and husband Tommy, of Pearl and Sharon Hatfield, of Pearl; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
NATHAN ALLEN GRICE
BRANDON
Nathan Allen Grice, 16, died at his home in Brandon on Thursday, Feb. 1, 2007. Services were Feb. 4 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon with burial in Brandon Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Huey Moak officiated.
Nathan was a 10th-grader at Brandon High School and a member of the football team and the power lifting team.
He loved the Brandon Schools and everything that they stood for. He was inspired to be a teacher one day.
Nathan was baptized at Crossgates Baptist Church in Brandon. He was well loved by everyone that knew him and will be greatly missed.
Nathan was preceded in death by his grandfather Robert Allen Grice; grandparents Nathan and Winfred Clark and also by his great-grandmother Laura Grice.
Nathan leaves behind his parents Richard and Sandra Grice, of Brandon; sisters Jessica Rainey and husband Danny, of Jackson and Laura Grice, of Brandon; niece Shelby Rainey and nephew Ethan Sims; grandmother Joel Ann Grice, of Jackson; great-grandmother Ruth Moak, of Bogue Chitto; aunts Julie Grice and Robin Grice, both of Jackson; uncles Randy Grice and wife Donna, of Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. Funeral services were Feb. 3 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon with burial in the Lakewood Memorial Park in Clinton. The Rev. Jeff Texas, where she lived for 12 years.
Mrs. Matthews was a member of Crossgates Baptist Church in Brandon and she also loved working with arts and crafts.
She was preceded in death by her parent,s William and Mary Boyanton.
Mrs. Matthews is survived by her son Richard Ray Armstrong and girlfriend Lynn Dunlap, of Brandon; grandchildren Brittany Marie Armstrong, Jessie Ray Armstrong and Harley Nicole Armstrong; sister Elizabeth Boyanton Holman, of Brandon; brothers Billy J. Boyanton, of Pearl, Alvin O. Boyanton, of Grapevine, Mississippi Care Center in Morton. Funeral services were Feb. 5 at Shiloh United Methodist Church with burial in Shiloh Cemetery. The Rev. John Carter, the Rev. Sam Dodd and the Rev. Gene Banes officiated.
Mrs. Rhodes was born in Rankin County on Oct. 6, 1919 to Andrew Patton White and Fannie Rhodes White. She was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Rhodes was preceded in death by two great-grandchildren, 12 brothers and sisters and her husband Casper Rhodes.
Survivors include her sons Jimmy Rhodes and wife Betty and Billy Rhodes and wife Betty, all of Pelahatchie; daughter Dorothy Walker and husband Rick, of Pelahatchie; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers were Kevin, Kurt, Kyle and Keith Rhodes, Tommy Krebs and Wilson Buffington.
Honorary pallbearers were Brian, Patrick and Trevor Rhodes, Jarod and Jacob Krebs, Tyler Rhodes and R.C. Gray.
