Virginia Golden
Virginia Golden, 68, died June 30, 2003, at her residence in Eupora.
Mrs. Golden, a homemaker, was born in Oak Ridge, Tenn., on May 4, 1935. She was a member of Lollars Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Ginger Welch, Susan Walker and Charlotte Jones, all of Eupora; one son, Cliff Golden of Eupora; two sisters, Linda Scott of Kingston, Tenn., and Doris Pickle of Iowa.
Mr. Hughes was born in Mississippi, and Wilma Johnson of Mississippi, and Steven Russell of Texas, Willie Ray and Willie E. Cooley, both of Shubuta; two sisters, UnMarine Dean of Albany, N. Y. and Jeannie McCann of Shubuta; two grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Oct. 30 at Bethlehem M. B. Church of Shubuta with the Rev. Terry Jones officiating.
Interment followed in the Bethlehem Cemetery.

Allen Hinton
Allen Hinton, 76, of Richton, died Oct. 23, 2004, at Wayne General Hospital. He was a common laborer.
He is survived by three sons, Steven Allen Jones of State Line, Randy Jones of Woodville, and Roudie Jones of Hintonville; three sisters, Elouise Taylor of Conyers, Ga., Christina Jones of Decatur, Ga., and Mary Jones of Woodville; and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Oct. 30 at Nazareth Baptist Church in Hintonville with the Rev. Walter Moore officiating.
Interment followed in the Nazareth Cemetery.

Isaiah Nelson
Isaiah Nelson, 66, of Shubuta, died Sept. 30, 2004, at his residence. He was a common laborer.
He is survived by three sisters, Rosie McFarland of Shubuta, Hattie B. Graham of New York.
Funeral services were held Oct. 5 at Green hill Baptist Church in Shubuta with the Rev. Darin Rogers officiating.
Interment followed in the Green hill Cemetery.

Handy Smith Jr.
Handy Smith Jr., 49, of Shubuta, died Oct. 16, 2004, at the University Medical Center in Jackson. He was a member of the Jehovahıs Witness faith and was the founder and owner of Handyıs Elderly DayCare Center in Shubuta.
He is survived by his wife, Annette Smith of Shubuta; one daughter, Jackie Smith Jackson of Waynesboro; two sisters, Helen McFarland and Beatrice Smith, both of Shubuta; and two brothers, Billy James Smith of Shubuta and Thomas Earl Smith of Erie, Penn.
Funeral services were held Oct. 19 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovahıs Witness in Waynesboro. Interment followed in the Davenport Cemetery in Shubuta.

A.B. "Ben" Little
A.B. "Ben" Little, 89, of Richton, died Oct. 26, 2004, at Perry County General Hospital.
He was a construction worker.
He is survived by his wife, Eva Little of Richton; two sons, Vincent Anthony Vincent and Dennis Casey, both of Chicago, Ill.; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held Oct. 29 at Jones and Son Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bobby Stinson officiating.
Interment followed in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.

The Rev. Nicholas D. Pearce
The Rev. Nicholas D. Pearce, 85, of Meridian, died Feb. 20, 2005, at The Guardian Angel Hospice Center.
He was a veteran of War World II, and a recipient of the Purple Heart Award, and a retired Southern Baptist minister.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Davis Pearce of Meridian; one son, Nicholas D. Pearce, Jr. of Scooba; one daughter, Janet Shelton of Meridian; two sisters, Mary Alice Brewer of Belle Chasse, La. and Jesse Pearce Helton of Leakesville; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Feb. 22 at Mutual Rights Cemetery in Green e County.

A. L. "Red" Nicholson, 67, of Richton, died Feb. 20, 2005, at Perry County General Hospital.
He was an equipment operator.
He is survived by three sisters, Tressie Lee Brewer, Peggy Bunch and Murlean Henderson, all of Richton; and his caregiver, Irene Palmer of Richton.
Funeral services were held Feb. 22 at Union Grove Assembly of God Church with the Revs. Douglas Manning and Russell Pettis officiating.
Interment followed in the Henderson Cemetery.

Robert Dennis Graham Jr.
Robert Dennis Graham Jr., 58, of Waynesboro, died Feb. 14, 2005, at Wayne General Hospital.
He was an operator.
He is survived by his wife, Carlene D. Graham of Waynesboro; one son, John ?Robby? Robert Graham of Leakesville; two daughters, Tresa Diane Malone and Carlene Lanette Jones, both of Waynesboro; his father, Robert Graham Sr. of Reidsville, Ga.; one brother, John Graham of Hot Springs, Ark.; two sisters, Brenda Boney of Long Beach and Sandra Weaver of Navarre, Fla.; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Feb. 17 at Freeman Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Judd Sessions and Bobby Wright officiating.
Interment followed in the Waynesboro Cemetery.

Tullie Rudolph Evans
Tullie Rudolph Evans, 74, of Waynesboro, died Feb. 14, 2005, at Brookwood Villa.
He was an Army veteran of World War II, and was employed in maintenance.
He is survived by his wife, Lorraine Evans of Clara; five daughters, Melita Ganus of Selma, Ala., Mary Catherine Whigham of Gilbertown, Ala., B. J. Evans of Hattiesburg, Sharron Kelley of Clara and Kathy Culpepper of Laurel; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Feb. 16 at Clara First Baptist Church with the Rev. Mitchell Smith officiating.
Interment followed in the Big Rock Cemetery.

Tammie Lee Walker
Tammie Lee Walker, 75, of Waynesboro, died Feb. 11, 2005, at Forrest General Hospital.
She was a member of Old Saint Paul and was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Melvin Walker of Waynesboro; three sons, Charles Jackson and Thomas Jackson, both of Waynesboro, and Willie Jackson of Buckatunna; two daughters, Mary Deloise Cooley and Joyce B. Nicholson, both of Waynesboro; three brothers, Eddie Lee Blakley of Mobile, Ala., Thomas Junior Blakley of Waynesboro and James Curtis Blakley of Cleveland, Ohio, Mary Shaw of Pritchard, Ala., and Shellie Tarvin of Talullah, La.; 15 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Feb. 15 at St. Luke Baptist Church with the Rev. Mack Chambers officiating.
Interment followed in the West Cemetery.

Funeral services for Parham Jerry Dunaway, 66, of Cleveland, Tex., were Nov. 18, 2003, at Capps Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Bradley Rushing, Douglas Lee and Millard Moak officiating.
He died Nov. 14, 2003, at Conroe Regional Medical Center in Conroe, Tex.
Dunaway was a retired steel fabricator. He was a Baptist and a U.S. Marine Corps veteran.
He was born March 20, 1937, at Walthall County, son of Annie Mae Rushing Moses and the late Marlon Dunaway. He was also preceded in death by four sons, Jerry Llewellyn Dunaway, Terry Lewis Dunaway, Bryan Keith Dunaway and Kerry Michael Dunaway.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife, Mildred Dunaway of Conroe, Tex.; a son and daughter-in-law, Rodney and Lucy Dunaway of Conroe, Tex.; three grandchildren, Rachel Dunaway, Stephanie Dunaway and Rodney Dunaway II, all of Conroe, Tex.; one stepdaughter, Amy Solis of Conroe, Tex.; two brothers, Ted Dunaway of Tylertown and Jackie Dunaway of Slaughter, La.; two sisters, Jenny McNeely of Waco, Tex., and Marilyn Lewis of Denham Springs, La.; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Gary Holmes, Scooter Bates, Bubba Bates, Daniel Carney, Zack Rushing and Walter Karel Pigott. Burial was in Rushing Cemetery with Capps Funeral Home in charge.
Mary Banks

Funeral services for Mary Reagan Massey Banks, 90, were Nov. 19, 2003, at Nowell Funeral Home Chapel, Clarksdale, with Rev. Charles Langford officiating.
She died Nov. 17, 2003, at Clarksdale Nursing Center.
Mrs. Banks was a member of Lyon United Methodist Church, where she taught adult Sunday School for many years. She was a graduate of Mississippi to the late Bertrance and Laura Davis. He was also preceded in death by two sisters.
Survivors include a daughter, Icie M. May of Jayess; his godmother, Alma Collins of Sunflower; five sisters, Carrie Mae Boyd of Collinville, Mo., Clemmtine Parker of Indianola, Linda Huey of Moss Point, Elnora Dotsy of Ponchatoula, La., and Annie Mae Triche of Chicago; five grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers were Winston Toney, Caldausa Toney, Vince Toney, Floyd Ratliff, Billy Commodore and Kent Goode.
Burial was in New Home Church of Christ Holiness Cemetery at Jayess with Ginn Funeral Home in charge.
Ruth Ellen Dillon

Funeral services for Ruth Ellen Dillon, 61, of Tylertown, were Nov. 19, 2003, at Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Victor Walsh officiating.
She died Nov. 17, 2003, at her residence.
She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Dillon was born Jan. 13, 1942, in Pike County to the late Ernest Woodroe and Margie Strickland Hughes of Magnolia.
Survivors include her husband, Douglas E. Dillon of Tylertown; a son, Dell Dillon of Mobile, Ala.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Michelle and Roane Conerly, and Karla and Terry Mitchell, all of Tylertown; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, E.W. and Becky Hughes of Smithdale, Mark and Bonnie Hughes, and Steve Hughes, all of Magnolia; and seven grandchildren, Chase OBryant, Colby Mitchell, Sierra Mitchell, Gage Conerly, Grey Conerly, Bailey Dillon and Ian Dillon.
Pallbearers were Wayne Baughtman, Jeff Hughes, Johnnie Copeland, Rick Smith, Warren Slater and Danny Simmons. Honorary pallbearers were Byron Herrington, Russell Slater, Curtis Loper and Narie Baughman.
Burial was in Tylertown Cemetery II with Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home in charge.
Joseph Cage Sr.

Funeral services for Joseph Cage Sr., 73, of New Orleans, were Nov. 24, 2003, at the Church of New Orleans (Pentecostal) with Dr. Kelvin J. Boyd officiating.
He died Nov. 17, 2003, at a New Orleans hospital.
Cage was self-employed with Joes Janitorial Services in New Orleans. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
He was born March 20, 1930, in Woodville, son of the late Henry Cage Sr. and Viola Barnes Cage. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Betty Cage.
Survivors include a son, Joseph Cage Jr. of New Orleans; five sisters, Martha Randall of New Orleans, Daisy Powell of Kenner, Ruth Harris of Baton Rouge, Estelle Hawkins of Union, Ga., and Rebecca Richardson of Los Angeles; two brothers, Moses Cage Jr. of Jackson and Amos Cage of San Francisco; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; nieces, nephews and others.
Burial was Nov. 25, 2003, at Dillon Hill Church Cemetery in Tylertown with Craft Funeral Home of McComb in charge.
