Larry Pulliam
Marvell, Ark. - Services for Larry Pulliam, 48, who died July 15, 2004, were held July 24, 2004, at Oak Grove in Derma with Rev. W. M. Jones officiating. Interment was in Memory Gardens in Calhoun City. Eddie Robinson and Sons Funeral Directors of Grenada was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Pulliam was born July 3, 1956, in Calhoun City to Jessie and Essie Pulliam. He was a graduate of Calhoun City High School and lived most of his life in this city.
Survivors include two sisters, Juliet Pulliam Burnette of Marvell, Ark. and Denise Russell of Little Rock, Ark.; two bothers, Jessie Pulliam of Calhoun City and Edward Russell of Marvell, Ark.; three uncles, Johnny Pulliam of Calhoun City, Charles Pulliam and Leroy Denton, both of Lynn; two aunts, Vertie Mae Pratt of Calhoun City and Myrtle Denton Wilborn of Marvell, Ark.; a special friend, Ms. Stacky of Derma; sister-in-law, Jackie of Grenada; four nieces; three nephews; cousin Lee Pratt of Forest City, Ark.; cousins, friends and classmates.
Tom Goodson
Calhoun City - Services for William Thomas "Tom" Goodson, 73, who died Monday, July 26, 2004, were held Wednesday, July 28, 2004, at 1 p.m. at Pryor Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Howard Rogers officiating. Interment was in New Gauley Cemetery in Calhoun City.
Mr. Goodson was born November 24, 1930, in Calhoun City to the late John L. and Maude Spencer Goodson. He was a logger employed by G.T. Goodson Logging. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church since 1948, but attended New Gauley Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Mary Lee Ferguson and husband, Tom, of Vardaman, Frances Snyder of Bruce and Maudie Childs and husband, Tully, of Big Creek; four sons, Earnest Goodson and wife, Annette, Thomas Earl Goodson and wife, Cindy, John Goodson and wife, Tracy and David Goodson, all of Calhoun City; two sisters, Ruby Ward of Laurel and Earline Parker Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Dale Easley officiating.
Interment was held in Midway Cemetery.
Ms. Gilder was retired from Kellwood and was a member of Vardaman First Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Joyce Mississippi and was an educator in the Georgia Dobbs Kyle

Berkett Linwood Eaton
Houston - Services for Berkett Linwood Eaton, 84, who died Jan. 5, 2004 at his home in Woodland, will be held Jan. 7 at 2 p.m. at Houston Funeral Home with Rev. Walter Butler and Rev. James Richardson officiating. Interment will be held in Amity Cemetery in Woodland.
