Robert "Bobby" Miscampbell, 40
Robert "Bobby" Miscampbell, 40, died July 28, 2001, at the Crest Nursing Home.
He was born in Whitefish on Oct. 23, 1960, to Maurice and Helen Miscampbell. He resided at home with his family until the age of five. He moved to the Montana State Hospital in 1965 and then to Montana Development Center in May of 1969. On March 12, 1992, he moved into the Margaret Lemm Group Home Program where he participated in work and leisure activities.
He was preceded in death by parents Maurice "Jim" and Helen B. Miscampbell and his brother Jamie Miscampbell.
Sister Billie Jean Whitcomb; nephew Byron T. Whitcomb; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, and also his extended family of BSW, Inc., survive him.
His main love in life was the sun. He would do anything he needed to wheel to where ever the sun was and would sit for hours enjoying its warmth and glow. He enjoyed swimming and competed in Special Olympics, often bringing home the gold. One of his favorite activities was taking a ride to a candy store for soft fudge.
He touched the lives of many with his happy smile. The memory of his smile will live in our hearts forever.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 10 a.m. in the Duggan Dolan Chapel in Butte. Interment will be Friday at 3 p.m. in Glacier Memorial Gardens in Kalispell.
Memorials to BSW, Inc. Endowment Fund, Special Olympics, or charity of donor's choice.
Caitlin Kehoe, 18
Caitlin Kehoe, 18, of Naples, Fla., died on July 14, 2001, on her birthday, as a result of an auto accident.
She was an honor student, and graduated from Naples High School on June 1. She was a generous and loving person. She loved music, especially classical and rock. She loved playing her cello. She was an avid animal rights advocate, involved with PETA. She was getting ready to attend the University of South Florida at Tampa.
She is survived locally by her father, John Kehoe and his family, Kathy Leahy and Rachel Nakanishi of Whitefish; aunts Jennifer Kehoe of Kalispell, and Kelly Kehoe of Coram.
A memorial service was held July 19 in Naples.

Clarence F. Tommerup, 90, passed away Saturday, April 22, 2006, at the Brendan House in Kalispell. He was born Oct. 13, 1915, in Coalridge to Danish immigrants, Peter and Christine (Jensen) Tommerup.

Many hearts were broken with the passing of Dennis Langton on April 21, 2006, in Whitefish.
Harvey Duane "Dewey" Parkison, 73
Harvey Duane "Dewey" Parkison, 73, of Kalispell, died Thursday, Dec. 4, 2003, at Brendan House in Kalispell, after a brief illness.
He was born Aug. 25, 1930, in Conrad, to Bert and Daisy (Neas) Parkison. They moved to Kila while he was a baby. He attended Kila grade school and then Flathead County High School.
In 1948, Dewey joined the U.S. Navy where he served in the Korean conflict, Saudi Arabia and the Far East.
After four years of service he returned home to Kalispell where he met and married Anna Lee Mayhew. They moved to Sacramento and Reno where, after working in the fire protection sprinkler business, he started his own company. He was the first licensed independent sprinkler fitter in Reno.
During these years Dewey always managed to make his way back to the Flathead and McGuiness Meadows. If Dewey wasn't with his pet deer, rabbits and chipmunks in the mountains he was with scores of friends that loved him dearly. He had a fabulous twinkle in his eye and a smile that caused the world to be a better place if you were with him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Mark Parkison and Kirk Parkison; two daughters, Tracey Loomis and Teri Richards; a grandson, Doug Risk, whom he helped raise; and three sisters, Donna Harp, Sharon Bunyea and Vaida Cole.
He is survived by one brother, Larry Parkison of Kalispell; one sister, Jeanette Halvorson of Libby; two stepdaughters, Karen Elam and Gail Hunt; nine grandchildren; best friend, Sandy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 9, at Johnson Mortuary Chapel, followed by a reception at the Rainbow Bar.
Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson Mortuary and Crematory.
MaryAnne Smith
MaryAnne Smith was born in Detroit on Oct. 27, 1919. She moved to Kalispell in 1956 with her father, Hugh McLeod, where she raised her son, Dan.
She cooked in the kitchen and helped with the noon meal at St. Matthew's School, where her son, Dan went to school for eight years.
She was a loving mom to Dan and his wife, Nancy, and grandma to Bob and Becky, her twin grandkids and their many cousins who knew her as grandma Smith. She did many things including crafts, sewing, canning, and she cooked many things including hundreds of colorful popcorn balls for the Eagles Halloween Party for the kids for many years.
MaryAnne was a life member of the Eagles and helped out with many special events there. She was very strong willed and lived at home until recently, when she fell and broke her hip and needed 24-hour nursing care.
The last few months she lived, first at Heritage Place and then finally at Brendan House, where the nursing staffs of both facilities became very attached to her. She was very well taken care of until she passed away peacefully in her sleep, early in the morning of Dec. 1, 2003.
MaryAnne is survived by her son, Dan and daughter-in-law, Nancy of Columbia Falls; her grandson, Bob of Helena and granddaughter, Becky and her husband, Shawn Bates, of Columbia Falls.
A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, at the Columbia Mortuary in Columbia Falls. Burial will follow in C.E. Conrad Memorial Cemetery in Kalispell.
Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. today at the Columbia Mortuary in Columbia Falls.
