Phyllis attended schools in Malta and Whitewater, graduating from Malta High School. She worked for Dr. Setzer in Malta until she and Raymond A. Pehlke were married February 18, 1946 in Havre, Montana. They owned and operated the Blacky’s Bar and Whitewater Lumber Company in Whitewater for 18 years. They moved to Glasgow in 1958 and started Pehlke’s Furniture and were active their entire lives. Phyllis was a member of Soroptomist, Beta Sigma Phi, Bridge Club, and was a 4-H Leader. She loved interior decorating, homemaking, was a grandchild babysitter, and especially enjoyed the cabin at the lake. She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters.

Gordon was born in Baylor, Montana He came to Glasgow at the age of 3 when his father died. He was raised during the depression and worked jobs mowing lawns and helping Harold and Bill Ruffcorn and Cliff Rice with their farming operations. Gordon also worked for the railroad for a time. He graduated from Glasgow High School in 1951 and then joined the US Navy, being assigned to the Seabee Battalion in Guam where he operated equipment and worked construction of buildings, streets, etc. Completing his service in 1953 he went to work in Spokane with the railroad for a year, and then transferred back to Glasgow to work on the bridge crew. Gordon also worked for Northwestern Engineering on the Glasgow Air Force Base and Glasgow Ready Mix.
In 1965 while working in Terry he met and Marlene Bice and they were married in Billings, Montana.
Gordon started working for Fossum Ready Mix in 1966 and worked there for 43 years, operating all types of machinery from mixer trucks and transport trucks to heavy equipment, welding, and whatever needed to be done.

BORN: February 16, 1918 in Amidon, North Dakota
PARENTS: Blaine and Evaline (Glazier) Bryson
Wilbur attended schools for eleven years in Ollie, Montana and graduated from Saco High School in 1935. From 1935 to 1939 he worked with various contractors connected with the building of the Fort Peck Dam as a equipment operator, structural steel worker and gravel plant operator. During 1939 and 1940 Wilbur worked for J. L. Shiely Co. in Darby on a gold dredging operation.
Wilbur enlisted in the US Air Force on July 16, 1941 and worked as an air mechanic, graduating from the Air Force Air Mechanics School in 1941, and as a pilot, graduating from the Aviation Cadet Training in 1943. Commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant, he served over seas as a B-24 Pilot, stationed in England. He flew 29 missions over Europe as the Lead Mission Crew. His crew was awarded the Air Medal four times with three Oak Leaf Clusters and the Distinguished Flying Cross, as well as several pilot commendations. Wilbur was released from active duty as a Captain. He was promoted to Major of the Air Force Reserve in 1956 and in 1965 was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel.
Wilbur married Pearl Kuether in Malta, Montana on July 28, 1945. After the war he worked as a parts-man and bookkeeper for Hanson-Long Motor Company from the 1946 to 1949, and managed the American Legion Club in Saco from 1949 to 1953. Pearl and Wilbur lived in Saco, Montana. Wilbur began working for Montana Dakota Utilities in 1953 and worked as a derrickman on drilling, construction, bookkeeping, and retiring as Field Superintendent in 1982 after 29 years of service.
He served as Secretary-Treasurer of the Saco Service Club, Adjutant & Commander of American Legion Post #79, Secretary-Treasurer of the Saco Volunteer Fire Department, and three terms as Alderman on the Saco Town Council. Wilbur enjoyed yard work and gardening, home repair and improvements, and spectator sports.
Wilbur loved wood work. You will find his clocks, lazy susans, and high chairs, etc. in homes throughout the state and beyond.

Gary contracted polio in December of 1953. He spent seven years at Ann Carlson School in Jamestown, North Dakota, and then junior high school and high school in Velva, North Dakota. He spent 2 years in Whapeton, ND for electronics technician. From there he went to work for Honeywell in Phoenix, Arizona. He then transferred to Albuquerque, NM. Gary earned his Bachelors Degree in Phoenix and his Masters in New Mexico. He did all this by himself, putting himself through school.
Gary went camping and hunting wearing his braces and using crutches. He had a special made three wheeler and would ride around the country on it making a trip from Arizona to North Dakota. He also made a trip to the Grand Canyon and Hawaii, never letting his disability hold him back until six years ago when the polio forced him into a wheelchair and retirement. He then moved to Glasgow to be near his family.
