Mr. Frank H. Majors
BURLINGTON - Mr. Frank Henry Majors, 58, of 925 E. Davis St., died Tuesday, June 16, 1998, at Alamance Regional Medical Center after a short illness.
A native of Franklin County, Tenn., he was the son of the late Ms. Nellie Mae Spray Majors. He was a U.S. Army veteran and worked in drywall.
Survivors include a daughter, Ms. Cathy Phillips of Graham; a son, Mr. Frankie Majors of Burlington; a brother, Mr. Buddy Majors of the home; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Ms. Angel Majors.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Graham Memorial Park by the Rev. Ruby Davis, pastor of Alamance Church of God, and the Rev. Betsy Combs, associate pastor.
The family will be at Lowe Funeral Home from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday, and at other times at the home.
Mrs. Edna H. Ritchie
SALISBURY - Mrs. Edna Hinson Ritchie, 78, died at 8:32 a.m. Tuesday, June 16, 1998, at Rowan Regional Medical Center after a short illness.
Born March 31, 1920, in Stanly County, she was the wife of Mr. Wright Monroe Ritchie, who survives, and the daughter of Mr. Jason Lee Hinson and Mrs. Rosa Clementine Eudy Hinson, both deceased. She was educated in Stanly County School, was a homemaker and a member of New Hope Baptist Church.
Survivors other than her husband of the home include two sons, Mr. Charles Ritchie of Fayetteville and Mr. Van Allen Ritchie of the home; two daughters, Ms. Lori Brault of Wilmington and formerly of Burlington, and Ms. Ann Collins of Salisbury; a brother, Mr. Horace Ritchie of Concord; a sister, Ms. Nell Barringer of Gold Hill; and five grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at New Hope Baptist Church by the Rev. Craig Edwards, pastor, and the Rev. Chris Haizlip. Burial will be in Rowan Memorial Park.
The family will be at the home.

Mrs. Millicent Whitsett
WHITSETT - Mrs. Millicent Moore Whitsett, 77, of 7218 Whitsett Park Road, died Thursday morning, June 18, 1998, at her home after several years of failing health.
A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of Mr. J.G. Whitsett, who survives, and the daughter of the late Ms. Celeste Isley Moore. She was a member of Frieden's Lutheran Church.
Survivors other than her husband of the home include two daughters, Mrs. Jo Ann Mintz of Advance and Mrs. Libby Grubb of Summerfield; two sons, Dr. William D. 'Danny' Whitsett of Whitsett and Mr. Joseph G. 'Joey' Whitsett of Greensboro; two brothers, Mr. Stephen L. Moore and Dr. Saunders W. Moore, both of Burlington; and six grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 5 p.m. today at Frieden's Lutheran Church Cemetery, N.C. 61, Gibsonville, by the Rev. Richard A. Rhoades, pastor.
The family will be at the church following the service until 6:30 p.m., and at other times at the home.

Mrs. Edith A. Hudson
DILLSBORO - Mrs. Edith A. Hudson, 83, died Thursday, June 18, 1998, at Harris Regional Hospital.
A native of Pennsylvania, she was the wife of Mr. Rex Hudson, who died in 1986, and the daughter of Mr. Jesse Alexander and Mrs. Myrtle Adams Alexander, both deceased. She had lived in Jackson County since 1987.
Survivors include a daughter, Ms. Scottie Hudson of Charlotte; two sons, Mr. David Hudson of Dillsboro and Mr. Robert Hudson of Charlotte; two brothers, Mr. Ty Alexander of Raleigh and Mr. Arthur Alexander of New Jersey; and two grandchildren.<
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hawfields Presbyterian Church cemetery by the Rev. Carol Fisher, associate pastor of Hawfields Presbyterian Church.
The family will be at Lowe Funeral Home in Burlington from 7 to 9 this evening.
Mr. Ronald C. Ihlo
BURLINGTON Mr. Ronald C. 'Ron' Ihlo, 62, of 1225 Ridgecrest Ave., died Wednesday afternoon, June 17, 1998, at Alamance Regional Medical Center, after a sudden illness.
A native of Jersey City, N.J., he was the husband of Mrs. Lutrecia Andrews Ihlo, who survives, and the son of Mr. Charles Ihlo and Mrs. Gladys Toye Ihlo, both deceased. He operated Ron Ihlo T.V. Sales and Services in Swepsonville.
Survivors other than his wife of the home include four daughters, Miss Tanya Ihlo of Erlanger, Ky., Mrs. Dawn Snow of Marshville, Mass., Mrs. Sherry Rizzo and Mrs. Lisa Oriente, both of New Jersey; a son, Mr. Robert 'Peyman' Ihlo of Erie, Pa.; and nine grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday at Rich and Thompson Chapel in Burlington by the Rev. Randy Innes, pastor of Elon College United Methodist Church.
The family will be at Rich and Thompson Mortuary in Burlington one hour before the service, and at other times at the home.

Mr. Ronald T. Wilson
BURLINGTON Mr. Ronald Thomas Wilson, 56, of 1225 Haw River-Hopedale Road, at 5:08 a.m. Thursday, June 18, 1998, at Duke University Medical Center in Durham after a critical illness of 10 days.<
A native of Person County, he was the son of Mr. Newby Alexander Wilson and Mrs. Ruby Blalock Wilson, both deceased. He was employed by Burlington Industries Transportation Division and was a member of Staley Memorial Baptist Church.<
Survivors include four sons, Mr. Wendell Scott Wilson of Summerville, S.C., and Mr. Warren Craig Wilson, Mr. Christopher Thomas Wilson and Mr. Matthew Reid Wilson, all of Graham; and two sisters, Mrs. Mildred W. Rimmer of Hurdle Mills and Mrs. Dorothy W. Ellis of Timberlake.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Mr. Bernice Alexander Wilson and Mr. Ingrham William 'Bobby' Wilson.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Staley Memorial Baptist Church by the Rev. Bennie Smith, pastor. The body will be placed in the church 30 minutes before the service. Burial will be in Alamance Memorial Park.

Mrs. Ella W. Williams
BURLINGTON Mrs. Ella Wade Williams, 94, a resident of 721 Westbrook Drive, died Wednesday, June 17, 1998, at Alamance Regional Medical Center after a critical illness of three days. She was a former resident of 505 Barnwell St., Thomasville, and had been living at Skilled Nursing Division for the past four years.
Born Sept. 25, 1903, in Davidson County, she was the wife of Mr. Rufus M. Williams, who died in 1985, and the daughter of Mr. Jessie Alaxander Wade and Mrs. Mary Isabelle Black Wade. She was raised in the Cid Community now known as Silver Valley. She lived in Thomasville most of her life and was retired from Hill Hosiery Mill. She was a member of West End United Methodist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. James M. (Colleen) Curry of Thomasville, Mrs. Betty Davis of Thomasville and Emerald Isle and Mrs. C. Ed (Joyce) Richardson of Burlington; a son, Mr. Raymond M. Williams of Ephrata, Wash.; two sisters, Mrs. Rosea Wade Shirley of Thomasville and Mrs. Inez Wade Robbins of Orlando Beach, Fla.; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mrs. Ila Wade Laughlin and Mrs. Ethel Wade Lambreth; and two brothers, Mr. Charles Allison Wade and Mr. William McKinley 'Will' Wade.<
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at West End United Methodist Church in Thomasville by the Rev. Gregory B. Gordon, the Rev. Bob Disher and the Rev. William Blanton. Burial will be in Holly Hill Memorial Park cemetery in Thomasville.

BURLINGTON Mrs. Lois Eloise Hawkins Moore, 88, of 221 Bradley St., died Thursday, June 18, 1998, at Alamance Regional Medical Center after several years of failing health.
A native of Pickens County, S.C., she was the wife of the late Mr. Wade Hampton Moore, and the daughter of Mr. Alexander Hawkins and Mrs. Lou Holcombe Moore, both deceased. She was a homemaker, and formerly attended Piedmont Baptist church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Audrey M. Dorsett of Burlington and Mrs. Linda M. Lowery of Simpsonville, S.C.; a son, Mr. Bill Moore of Burlington; a sister, Mrs. Ruby Campbell of Liberty, S.C.; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Stephen Hicks, pastor of Altamahaw Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial will be in Alamance Memorial Park.

Mr. Johnny Testerman
BURLINGTON Mr. Johnny Ray Testerman, 46, of 207 Courtland Terrace, Burlington, died at 6:45 a.m. Thursday, June 18, 1998, at Granville County Medical Center.
A native of Johnson County, he was the husband of Mrs. Teresa Chesbrow Testerman, and the son of Mrs. Eunice Fowler Testerman, who survives, and the late Mr. James Herman Testerman Sr. He was a construction worker and a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of Burlington Assembly of God.
Survivors other than his wife of the home and mother of Graham include two daughters, Mrs. Mindy Whitlow and Miss Amy Testerman, both of Graham; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Tammy Meeks of Surf City, Mrs. Tracey Ellington of Mebane and Miss Tiffany Ray of the home; a son, Mr. Timothy Ray of Durham; four sisters, Mrs. Bernice Massey of Hampton, Va., Mrs. Evelyn Hawkins of Durham, and Mrs. Patsy Linnens and Mrs. Carolyn Bare, both of Graham; two brothers, Mr. James Herman Testerman Jr. of Oklahoma and Mr. George E. Testerman of Graham; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham by Dr. Howard Thompson, pastor of Burlington Assembly of God. Burial will be in Graham Memorial Park.
