Mrs. Margaret Frazier
BURLINGTON - Mrs. Margaret Vance Neal Frazier, 88, of 100 Wade Coble Drive, died Friday, July 10, 1998, at Alamance Regional Medical Center.
A native of Greensboro, she was the wife of the late Mr. Harold Frazier. She was a graduate of Greensboro College. She was employed with the Greensboro Daily News after college and Straughans Book Shop for many years, and was active with the 14th Air Force Association. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church.
She is survived by nieces and nephews.
There will be no funeral.

Mrs. Mary Sue Hawkins
ASHEVILLE - Mrs. Mary Sue Hawkins, 80, died Friday, July 10, 1998, at the Baptist Retirement Home in Asheville.
Born in St. Matthews, S.C., on July 16, 1917, she was the wife of Mr. Edward Vincent Hawkins who died in 1993, and the daughter of Mr. Joseph Carroll Whitaker Sr. and Mrs. Beulah Hancock Whitaker, both deceased. She was a former resident of Shelby and a 1938 graduate of Asheville Normal and Teachers College. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church for 59 years, and a member of the Tell Sunday School Class, the sanctuary choir, taught a Bible study class, and was Calvary Church secretary for 32 years.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Mary Carolyn Pfalzgraf of Trophy Club, Texas; a sister, Ms. Carolyn Baxley of North Augusta, S.C.; a brother, Mr. J.C. Whitaker Jr. of Burlington; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Calvary Baptist Church in Asheville by the Rev. Buddy Corbin, the Rev. John H. Knight and the Rev. Edgar E. Ferrell. The body will be placed in the church 30 minutes before the service. Burial will be at Pisgah View Memorial Park.

Mrs. Louella Cammack
BURLINGTON - Mrs. Louella A. Cammack, 100, died Friday, July 10, 1998, at White Oak Manor Nursing Facility.
A native of Dayton, Ohio, she was the wife of the late Mr. Allen Cammack Sr., and the daughter of Mr. William Elijah Arnold and Mrs. Betty Hedge Arnold, both deceased. She attended Oberlin College in Ohio and graduated from Cincinnati Conservatory of Music. She taught piano in the Whitsett and E.M. Holt Elementary schools and also gave private instructions. She and her husband moved to Burlington in 1943, and opened Cammack Office Supply soon afterward. She was a member of the Burlington Duplicate Bridge Club and was one of the oldest bridge club players in the Burlington Recreation Center until she was 94 years old. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Burlington.
Survivors include a daughter, Ms. Lois C. Bateson of Chapel Hill; a son, Mr. Allen Cammack Jr. of Burlington; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. July 25 at Rich and Thompson Chapel in Burlington by Dr. Craig McMahan, pastor of First Baptist Church of Burlington.
The family will be at the mortuary following the service.
Mr. John T. Moore
NEW YORK CITY - Mr. John Torrence "J.T." Moore died Tuesday, July 7, 1998, at Presbyterian Hospital in New York after a long illness.
A native of Gaston County, he was the husband of the late Mrs. Betty Ruth Garrison Moore, and the son of Mr. John Torrence Moore Sr., and Mrs. Ethel Young Moore, both deceased. He was a graduate of Jordan Sellars in Burlington and attended Xavier University in New Orleans. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, and was a long distance truck drive at Barker Trucking Co. in New York for 25 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church on Apple Street before moving to New York.
Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Ruth Moore Warren of Burlington and Mrs. Naomi Crisp and Ms. Lucille Moore, both of New York; and two stepsisters, Mrs. Lucille Glenn and Mrs. Katherine Alston, both of Burlington.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Grace Moore Whitted.
The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at John H. Joyce Funeral Home in New York City. Burial will be in Veterans' Calvary cemetery in New York City.

Ms. Vickie E. Spivey
PROVIDENCE - Ms. Vickie Ewing Spivey, 36, of 4856 Foster Road, died Friday, July 10, 1998, at Danville Regional Medical Center in Danville, Va.
A native of Durham County, she was employed by Hardees of Yancyeville.
Survivors include two sons, Mr. Johnnie Wayne Spivey Jr. of Greenville and Mr. Bryan Ray Spivey of the home; a sister, Ms. Tina Pritchett of Yanceyville; and a grandmother, Ms. Pearl Ewing of Durham.
A graveside service was Sunday at Community Baptist Church by the Rev. Mark Smith.
Mrs. Pennie Whitesell
BURLINGTON - Mrs. Pennie Andrews Whitesell, 86, of 5033 Whitesell Brothers Road, Elon College, died at 8 a.m. Friday, July 10, 1998, at Skilled Nursing Division of Alamance Regional Medical Center after three years of failing health, one month critical.
A native of Guilford County, she was the wife of the late Mr. Howard A. Whitesell, and the daughter of Mr. Robert Alexander Andrews and Mrs. Hattie Michael Andrews, both deceased. She was a homemaker and a member of Bethlehem Christian Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Patricia Ann Durham Billings of Rhonda and Mrs. Dorothy Elizabeth Sykes of Elon College; two brothers, Mr. Alton Alfred Whitesell of Gibsonville and Mr. Clayton Anderson Whitesell of Alexander, Va.; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mrs. Callie Andrews and Mrs. Sallie Byrd; four brothers, Mr. Turner Andrews, Mr. Guy Andrews, Mr. Lee Andrews and Mr. Jack Andrews.
The funeral was Sunday at Bethlehem Christian Church by the Rev. Dave Gilbert, pastor. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Doris H. Ayers
HAW RIVER - Mrs. Doris Holiday Ayers, 66, of 1503 E. Main St., died at 1:25 p.m. Friday, July 10, 1998, at Alamance Regional Medical Center after several years of failing health, one day critical.
A native of Chattanooga, Tenn., she was the daughter of Mr. Albert Leroy Holiday and Mrs. Beulah Majors Perry Holiday, both deceased. She was a homemaker and a member of Harvest Hills Church of God.
Survivors include a daughter, Ms. Sharon Ayers of the home; a son, Mr. Garry Ayers of Mebane; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Ms. Gloria Skenes; and two sisters, Ms. Bobbie Jones and Ms. Lorena Thompson.
The funeral was Saturday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Jerry Tow, pastor of Harvest Hills Church of God. A private graveside service was Sunday at Oakwood Cemtery in Mebane.
Mr. Raymond Bradley
FRANKLINVILLE - Mr. Raymond F. Bradley, 53, of 3787 N.C. 22 North, died Wednesday, July 8, 1998, in Asheboro.
A native of Caswell County, he was the husband of Mrs. Raelene Sanders Bradley, who survives, and the son of Mr. Robert Lee Bradley and Mrs. Elsie Foster Bradley, both deceased. He owned and operated Diesel Applications.
Survivors other than his wife of the home include a daughter, Miss Candace Bradley of Burlington; a sister, Ms. Mildred Huey of Graham; two brothers, Mr. Earl Bradley of Baldwinsville, N.Y., and Mr. James Bradley of Cross Hill, S.C.
The funeral was Saturday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel.
