Mr. Frank Harris Sr.
MEBANE - Mr. Frank Odell Harris Sr., 73, of 3962 White Level Road, died Monday, Nov. 3, 1997, at Alamance Regional Medical Center.
A native of Durham, he was the husband of Mrs. Marjory Bradley Harris, who survives, and the son of Mrs. Halsie Moring Harris and Mr. James Wiley Harris, both deceased. He was a retired AT&T contract specialist and a member of First Baptist Church in Mebane.
Survivors other than his wife of Mebane include a daughter, Mrs. Wanda Harris Smith of Winston-Salem; five sons, Dr. Frank O. Harris Jr. of Rogersville, Tenn., Mr. Thomas B. Harris of Mebane, Mr. Gary L. Harris of Wilmington, Mr. Steven Wayne Harris of Carrboro and Mr. David R. Harris of Elon College; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Walker's Funeral Home Chapel of Mebane by the Rev. Charles Fleshman and the Rev. Marvin Simpson. Burial will be in Oakwood cemetery in Mebane.
The family will be at Walker's Funeral Home in Mebane from 6 to 8 this evening.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church in Mebane or to Hospice of Alamance-Caswell.
Mrs. Marlene T. Peters
BURLINGTON - Mrs. Marlene 'Myrtle' Terrell Peters, 65, of 1622 Morningside Drive, died Saturday, Nov. 1, 1997, at her home after several years of failing health.
A native of Caswell County, she was the wife of the late Mr. Raymond Peters and the daughter of Mr. Johnny I. Terrell and Mrs. Pearl Davis Terrell, both deceased. She was a homemaker and a member of New Hope Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Miss Janie Nell Rice of Greensboro; three sons, Mr. Timothy Lee 'Tim' Rice of Burlington, Mr. Roger Dean Rice of Graham and Mr. Sidney Lynn Rice of Raleigh; four sisters, Mrs. Doris Parsons of Graham, Mrs. Jeanette Short of Kentucky, Mrs. Louise Simmons of Anderson and Mrs. Laura Edwards of Burlington; three brothers, Mr. Brodie Terrell of Anderson, Mr. Harold Terrell of Burlington and Mr. Clyde Terrell of Elon College; a stepdaughter, Ms. Paula Peters; three grandchildren; one stepgrandchild; and one stepgreat-grandchild.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at New Hope Baptist Church by the Rev. Randy Hobbs, pastor. Burial will be in Kerr's Chapel Baptist Church cemetery.
The body will remain at Lowe Funeral Home until 1:30 Tuesday.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home and at other times at the home of a brother, Mr. Clyde Terrell, 265 Milesville Road, Elon College.
Ms. Jody L. Faircloth
REIDSVILLE - Ms. Jody Lee Faircloth, 34, of 141 Harbor Road, died Saturday, Nov. 1, 1997, at Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem.
She was the daughter of Ms. Mary H. 'Peck' Faircloth, who survives, and the late Mr. David H. Faircloth. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church.
Survivors other than her mother of the home include a brother, Mr. Dennis Faircloth of Reidsville; a sister, Mrs. Brad (Dawne) Young of Reidsville, and relatives in the Burlington area.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. today at Wilkerson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Cynthia C. Jessup
SILER CITY - Mrs. Cynthia Coble Jessup, 27, of 2841 Siler City / Glendon Road, died Saturday, Nov. 1, 1997, at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill.
A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of Mr. Vernon H. Jessup, who survives, and the daughter of Mr. Tommy Coble and Ms. Linda M. Coble, who survive. She was secretary at Jessup Trailer & Equipment. She was a homemaker and attended Brush Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors other than her husband of the home, her father of Liberty and her mother of Snow Camp include a daughter, Miss Tiffany Privette of Burlington; a son, Mr. Bradley Privette of Burlington; a sister, Ms. Wendy Coble of Mebane; a brother, Mr. Tommy Coble Jr. of Liberty; and paternal grandfather, Mr. Raymond Vernon Coble of Snow Camp.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Brush Creek Baptist Church by the Rev. Dwight Jenkins. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 Tuesday evening at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home.
Mr. Charles Moize Sr.
BURLINGTON - Mr. Charles Veral 'Pete' Moize Sr., 64, of 2341 Basil Holt Road died at 11:01 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 2, 1997, at Alamance Regional Medical Center after five years of failing health, one day critical.
A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of Mrs. Shirley Vicks Moize, who survives, and the son of Mr. Elmer Moize and Mrs. Mabel Stone Moize, both deceased. He was a retired building subcontractor.
Survivors other than his wife of the home include two daughters, Mrs. Frances Gray of Haw River and Mrs. Cindy Hodgson of Bald Head Island; two sons, Mr. Charles V. Moize Jr. of Zebulon and Mr. Lee Moize of Mebane; one brother, Mr. R.B. Moize of Thomasville; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Rich & Thompson Chapel in Graham. Burial will be in Alamance Memorial Park.

Mr. Malcolm Noah Jr.
WILMINGTON - Mr. Malcolm Russell 'Buck' Noah Jr., 66, of 711 Devon Court, died Saturday, Nov. 1, 1997, at Columbia Cape Fear Hospital.
Born Feb. 23, 1931, in Greensboro, he was the husband of Mrs. Dorothy Bradley Noah, who survives, and the son of Mr. Malcolm Russell Noah Sr. and Mrs. Grace Neese Noah, both deceased. He was a retired employee of Piedmont Airlines after 27 years of service. He was a member of the Quiet Birdmen, the OX5 Aviation Pioneers, St. John's Masonic Lodge No. 1, the Arab Shrine, the Scottish Rite Bodies and the Sudan Temple.
Survivors other than his wife of the home include a son, Mr. Russell Noah of Wilmington; two brothers, Mr. Jack Arlan Noah of Stockton, Calif., and Dr. Don W. Noah of Graham; and a sister, Ms. Linda Noah Dierks of Graham.
The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Service, Oleander Chapel by the Rev. Dr. Roger E. Horne. Burial will be in Oleander Memorial Gardens.

ELON COLLEGE - Mr. Willard Russell Simpson, 83, of 3350 Altamahaw Race Track Road, died Sunday, Nov. 2, 1997.

Mr. William Paschal
ELON COLLEGE - Mr. William Edison Paschal, 83, of 8302 Kerr Chapel Road died at 11:05 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31, 1997, at Alamance Regional Medical Center.
A native of Caswell County, he was the husband of Mrs. Maggieleen Moore Paschal, who survives, and the son of Mr. Elisha Pickard Paschal and Mrs. Fannie Tate Paschal, both deceased. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was a retired employee of the Burlington Industries Williamsburg Plant.
Survivors other than his wife of the home include three brothers, Mr. James Wilbert Paschal and Mr. Ernest B. Paschal, both of Reidsville, and Mr. Hoston E. Paschal of Burlington; three sisters, Mrs. M.N. (Bessie) Rainey and Mrs. Harry (Nonie) Moore, both of Burlington, and Mrs. Rudy (Ann) Binus of Louisville, Ky.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Mr. Jesse Paschal and a sister, Mrs. C.H. (Hattie) Haney.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Lowe Funeral Home by the Rev. David Grinnell, pastor of Faith Bible Chapel. Burial will be in Alamance Memorial Park.

Mrs. Luvina Mebane
BURLINGTON - Mrs. Luvina M. Mebane of 526 Dudley St. died Thursday, Oct. 30, 1997, at her home.
A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Mr. Keffers Mebane, and the daughter of Mr. Wesley Madden and Mrs. Callie Shavers Madden, both deceased. She was a homemaker and attended Christian Tabernacle.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Willie Mae Artis of Burlington and Mrs. Olivia Carter of New York; two sons, Mr. James Ernest Mebane of Burlington and Mr. Dennis Lee Mebane of Troy; a sister, Mrs. Lillian Moore of New York; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Mr. Keffers Mebane Jr. and two sisters, Mrs. Hattie Long and Mrs. Hallie Hunter.
The funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Sharpe Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Northlawn Cemetery.
The family will be at the funeral home 30 minutes before the service.
Mr. Roland C. Kivett
SILER CITY - Mr. Roland C. Kivett, 76, of 1309 Sunset Drive died Friday, Oct. 31, 1997, and his home.
A native of Chatham County, he was the husband of Mrs. Maxine Andrews Kivett. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was retired from Western Electric. He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 93 and of Siler City Pentecostal Holiness Church, where he was a member of the Adult Bible Class.
Survivors other than his wife include two daughters, Ms. Jean K. Purvis of Siler City and Ms. Ann K. Shaw of Sanford; two brothers, Mr. Hamuel D. Kivett of Bennett and Mr. Harold Kivett of Siler City; three sisters, Ms. Goldie E. Kivett of Siler City, Ms. Joyce A. McBride of Liberty and Ms. Betty E. Cox of Coleridge; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church by the Rev. Garry Yeatts and the Rev. Bennett D. Shelton. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
The family will be at Smith and Buckner Funeral Home from 7 to 9 Sunday evening.

Mrs. Ethel L. Rudd
BURLINGTON - Mrs. Ethel Louise Stanley Rudd, 73, of 1567 Stonewall Springs Road, died at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, 1997, at her home after three years of failing health, three weeks critical.
A native of Pittsylvania County, Va., she was the wife of the late Mr. Elton Lee Rudd and the daughter of Mr. N.B. Stanley and Mrs. Edna Young Stanley, both deceased. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Long's Chapel United Church of Christ, a member of the choir for 50 years; a life member of the Women's Fellowship of the United Church of Christ and a member of The Ladies Sunshine Class. She was retired from Scott Clinic and volunteered with the Ladies Auxillary at Alamance Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Carolyn R. Roney of Mebane; two sons, Mr. Jerry Wayne Rudd and Mr. Robert Lynn Rudd, both of Burlington; two sisters, Mrs. Clarice Richardson and Mrs. Lula McDonald, both of Burlington; a brother, Mr. Curtis Stanley of Sacramento, Calif.; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. today at Long's Chapel United Church of Christ by the Rev. C.L. Homer Frye, pastor, and Dr. Kenneth Register, retired United Church of Christ minister. The body will be placed in the church 30 minutes before the service. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
