Ollie Mae Eastridge Woodard, age 93 of Creston, NC, died Wednesday, July 14, 2004 at Ashe Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Woodard was born December 19, 1910 in Ashe County to the late Elihu and Cindy Eastridge. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Roy Woodard and two sons, R. C. Woodard and Royce Lewis. She was member of the Covenant Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 17, 2004 at the Badger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Denton Hart will officiate. Burial will follow in the Baugess Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 till 2:00 PM prior to the funeral service.

Armando Daubar

Mr. Armando Daubar, Sr. age 89 of Todd, NC, formerly of Tampa, FL, died Saturday, July 17, 2004 at the Ashe Memorial Hospital in Jefferson, NC.
Mr. Daubar was born in Tampa, Florida on July 9, 1915 to the late Rafael and Lucretia Gonzalez Daubar. His wife, Clavelina del Valle Daubar preceded him in death. He and his wife were married
for 60 years. Mr. Daubar lived in Tampa, Florida for 82 years. He moved to Ashe County, NC where he lived and blossomed the past 7 years. He enjoyed Ashe County and began growing vegetables and gardening.
Mr. Daubar worked for Sunny Book Dairy as a milk delivery man for 20 years in Tampa.
He retired after a long career as a custodian for the Florida Public School System.
The family request no flowers and that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 223, Jefferson, NC 28640.

Millard Joe Brown age 73 of Lansing, NC, died Sunday, July 18, 2004 at the James A. Quillen Veterans Hospital in Johnson City, TN.
Mr. Brown was born on July 9, 1931 in Ashe County, NC to Wilson F. and Maggie Roten Brown.
He served in the United States Army from 1950 to 1953 in the Korean Conflict.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, July 20, 2004 at 7:00 P.M. at the Badger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Lloyd Day, Rev Julian Owen, and Rev. Tom Graybeal will officiate. A military graveside service will be held Wednesday, July 21, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. at the Brown cemetery in the Rich Hill Community. The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 20, 2004 from 5:30-7:00 P.M. at Badger Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Brown cemetery Fund, c/o Robert Elliott, 2586 Rich Hill Rd., Creston, NC 28615 or the Helton Ambulance Service, 114 Old Helton School Rd., Lansing, NC 28643.

Doshie Marie Sapp Osborne, age 95 of China Grove, NC, formerly of Ashe County, died Monday, July 19, 2004 at the Segraves Care Center in Jefferson, NC. Mrs. Osborne was born January 29, 1909 in Ashe County to the late Scott and Lillie Graybeal Sapp. Her husband, Olin Clay Osborne also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, July 22, 2004 at the Badger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Tommy Dollar will officiate. Burial will follow in the Brown Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM till 11:00 AM prior to the funeral service.
