Mr. Barker was born on April 14, 1939 in Ashe County, NC to Edgar and Stella Blevins Barker. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Eldreth Barker, and two infant children. Funeral Services will be held Monday, October 25, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at the Badger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Billy Joe Blevins, Rev. Lloyd Day, and Rev. Jim Greer will officiate. Burial will follow in the Scott-Blevins Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, October 24, 2004 from 7:00-9:00 P.M. at Badger Funeral Home.
