ASHEVILLE – Robert Franklin Robinson, died Oct. 16, 1999, at a local hospital.
He was the son of the late Raymond Clifton and Lillie Mae Robinson, Army veteran of World War II, fought in France and Germany in 1944 and 1945, 1947 graduate of North Carolina State University with a B.S. degree in food science, lived in Florence S.C. from 1951 to 1983, moved to Asheville in 1983, worked in dairy industry for 50 years, retired from Kraft and Milkco, consultant to dairy industry, active at Skyland United Methodist Church, former member of Civitan and served as president in Florence.
