Robert Abernethy; daughter of the late Cline and Mamie Hoyle Kiser, retired from Medical Service Bureau, member of the First United Methodist Church, Gastonia, taught Sunday School for 12 years, past president of the guild, life member of the United Methodist Women, a den mother for Cub Scouts, attended Highsmith School of Nursing in Fayetteville, past president of Gaston County Medical Assistants, worked in medical field for 30 years, active in community affairs, Miss Bessemer City 1935.
