Robinette, educated in Gaston County, member of McAdenville United Methodist Church for many years, active in YMCA and civic activities, World War II Army Air Corps veteran, flight engineer on a B24, flew 57 missions, received Distinguished Flying Cross two times, employed by The Gaston Gazette as supervisor of mail department, Gaston Memorial Hospital as assistant administrator, city of Gastonia as assistant administrator and interim city manager, served as first city manager of Conover for 15 years, consultant and industrial recruiter for Catawba County, licensed real estate broker, member of Rotary and St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, Hickory.
