Sr. and Lelia Bouldin Beatty, retired real estate and insurance agent, member of First United Methodist Church, Mount Holly, formerly active in church, vice chairman of the official board, president of the men’s Bible class, active in Jaycees where he served as president, received Mount Holly Man of the Year Award in 1960, former member and president of Mount Holly Lion’s Club, served as a member of the board of trustees of Gaston Memorial Hospital in December 1981, past member of Gaston County Board of Equalization & Review, serving as chairman for six years.
