Fowler, daughter of the late Walter D. and Mary Ellen Freeman Hobbs, graduate of Queens College, Charlotte, former secretary to former Gov. Gregg Cherry, former secretary with Pritchard Paint and Glass Company and First Baptist Church of Dunn, member of First Presbyterian Church of Spartanburg.
