Suttle Jr. Insurance Company, which he founded in 1945, associated with Cleveland Building and Loan Association, named to board of directors in 1940, served as chairman of Cleveland Federal Bank until it was sold to Centura Bank in 1995, lifelong member of First Baptist Church of Shelby, member of Frank Bonner Sunday School Class, Cleveland Masonic Lodge No. 202, received 60-year veteran’s pin, Shriner with Oasis Shrine Temple of Charlotte.
