He was a native of Bridgeport, N.Y., son of the late William S. and Millicent Beechner Hart, brother of the late Peter S. Hart, separated from the Marine Corps as a staff sergeant, served the duration of the Korean War, retired after 46 yeas of service with the New York Central, Penn Central and Conrail Railroads as a brakeman, member of V.F.W. Post No. 7290, memorialized for his service at Veterans Memorial, North Syracuse, N.Y.
