Smith University, 1967, made efforts to ensure equality by becoming involved with voter registrations, voter education, legislation surrounding voter’s rights and the Civil Rights Movement, Fundraising and Marketing Consultant, Political Campaign Manager, Manager of Community Relations, former Director of the National Conference of Black Mayors, served in American Peace Corps in India, served on Cities in Schools Board of Directors, United Negro College Fund Fundraising Committee, National Association of Blacks in Energy, United Way of Greater New Orleans-Loaned Executive, Boys and Girls Club Board of Directors, New Orleans, Metro Area Committee, Hotel Dieu Hospital Committee, recieved the NAACP Community Service Award, National Conference of Black Mayors Appreciation Award, NAACP Corporate Award for Minority Business Development, Certificate of Merit for oustanding service by the mayor of New Orleans, Arkansas Traveler Award in 1991 from then Arkansas governor Bill Clinton, recognized as one of the Who’s Who in Black Corporate New Orleans in his position as Manager of Community Relations for Energy Corporation.
