She was a native of Gaston County, wife of the late Rev. A.P. "Pete" Millen, daughter of the late Edward Lee and Addie Brandon Hudspeth, mother of the late Dorothy Ann Millen and Ellen Loftin, sister of the late Reece and Floyd Hudspeth, Fleeta Byars, Virginia Taylor, Edith Stroupe, Annie Capps and Eliza Millen, charter member of Friendship Baptist Church, taught Nellie Mae Millen Sunday School Class until 1997, WMU and G.A. leader.

WEST COLUMBIA, S.C. — Adolph F. "Al" Funke, 90, died April 24, 2000.
He was a native of Baltimore, Md., son of the late William Herman and Amelia Tormollan Funke, formerly of Severna Park, Md., lived in West Columbia since 1975, graduate of Poly Tech High School and accounting school, began his career at American Standard, where he worked for 40 years becoming cost accountant, retired from American Standard in 1973, began second career at Carolina Coliseum in 1975, member of Eau Claire Lions Club, where he had served as president and was named Lion of the Year, lifetime member of Demolay, where he was awarded "Legion of Honor," member of Main Street United Methodist Church, Wesley Fidelity Sunday school class, taught Sunday school occasionally, served as Sunday school class president.
