BLOWING ROCK — Ethel P. Lilley, formerly of Atlanta, died June 9, 2000, at Watauga Medical Center, Boone.
She was a native of Forsyth County, Ga., daughter of the late Francis Marion and Lillian Purcell, wife of the late E.D. "Ed" Lilley, received a law degree in 1929, she was the second woman licensed as a real estate broker in Georgia, operated her own real estate company in the Emory area for 42 years, studied and taught the Bible for many years.
