She was the daughter of the late Cameo G. and Lessie Jackson, a 1955 graduate of Roosevelt High School in Clover, moved to New York to work but later returned to Clover where she lived until her health failed, moved to Belmont and later to Sun Bridge Nursing Home, member of Flat Rock Baptist Church in Clover, attended Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Belmont.
