Church, Sunday school superintendent, elder, activity director, former deacon, coordinated Thanksgiving breakfast for many years, charter member of Clover Rescue Squad, served as captain for eight years, secretary-treasurer for many years, retired manager from Napa/Jobbers Supply and continued to work part-time, 1991 Clover Citizen of the Year, 1973 Clover Rescue Squad Man of the Year, recognized by South Carolina House of Representatives as an Outstanding Citizen of Clover.
