Glenn and Velda Hamrick White, wife of the late Vernon P. Crosby, worked with the War department Mobilization Planning Board in Washington, D.C., during World War II, member of First Presbyterian Church, charter member of the local PEO chapter, active in organizations throughout the Carolinas.
